Ever since I saw pink_emmie_bat's Flickr page where she dons very adorable and oh-so-dreamy Lolita fashions, I got hooked on Japanese Fashions.
Well, I have been adoring the Harajuku style in the past but now I'm beginning to fall for the sweeter side of the Japanese fashion style. When in college I love to flip those japanese fashion magazines such as NONNO and JJ, where there are only pages and pages of clothes pictures and models parading dainty styles of fashions. I love Japanese Fashion Magz! Now I rarely bought them because they're so damn pricey!

For this edition, I chose a short-sleeve turtleneck sweater in black.

I chose a cute cropped pants which won't get in my way if I'm feeling like dancing the whole night long. My accessories options here are minimal but bold! The snake-skin shoes, the criss-crossed belt and the big bold necklace in gold color add enough style without being overwhelming.


And this one is for going to a cocktail party (or maybe a bridal shower).
Paired with a dress this turtleneck gives cute and sweet style. I chose a bright splash of colors for the dress and the wrist clutch to match the cheerful environment of the party. By the way, I love this cute dinosaur-shaped necklace from Tatty Devine a lot!

For several weeks, I have seen this feathered hair accessories on some of my favorite fashion bloggers and I figured that these feathered hair accessory would be a hit soon and I should own one. So imagine my happiness when Cover Your Hair send me one of their pretty feather hair clip to be reviewed! I was so excited because not only the hair clip that I received is gorgeous but they also send me a cool headband!

What I saw in my favorite fashion blogger's page are mostly the brown/creme feather ones (similar to the above left picture) so when I received the green peacock feather one, I thought : it's even better! Because I love peacock prints/patterns/style. I find it beautiful, rich and exotic at the same time.
The one sent by Cover Your Hair is very pretty. My first reaction when opening the package and finding the peacock feather hair clip in it was automatically ran to my mom and showed it to her excitedly, my mom complimented it again and again when she first saw it, kept saying how pretty it is and couldn't seem to take her hands off it ^o^

It was made of a feather-covered fabric and a sturdy wooden clip, the feathers were aligned neatly and the color is gorgeous. I love everything about it! I wore it everyday on almost any occasions and many people compliment it, saying how unique and pretty my hair clip is and asking where did I got it. As I told you before, coveryourhair.com also sent me a headband or a "tie-backs" version as they call it in their store. I received the paisley-print one in beige. I love this one too, the fabric is of a good quality, the paisley pattern is pretty and the shape is suitable for any woman's head. I have a smaller head than my mom but both my mother and I have tried this tie-back head band and it suits both of us nicely.

I find this tie-back headband really useful. No doubt, it's really perfect for my bad hair day! All I have to do is just pulled my hair in a ponytail and cover it with the tie-back headband.
I also found another use of it. Sometimes I ride with my hubby on his motorcycle, don't get me wrong, I always use a helmet whenever we travel a far distance or riding in a busy public road. But when we just want to go to the nearby mini-market by passing a small quaint road sometimes I hesitate to wear a helmet because helmets always make my head sweaty and it's only a 5 minutes ride after all. But if I don't wear a helmet then my hair would get all dirty and tangled because of the wind and dirt, this has always been my dilemma. But now, with the tie-back headband from Cover Your Hair I finally found my answer, it doesn't sweat my head like a helmet and by wearing it my hair would be protected from the wind and dirt. But this is not intended for a helmet substitute, of course. I only wore it for a 5 minutes ride that doesn't pass a public road. You could wear it while riding your bike too!

In my own words, it could mean : a pairing method of clothing that can be put on as basic layer which could then be combined with many other clothing items OR a pairing method of clothing that you trust will never go wrong.

First of all, I was excited yesterday (Thursday, to be exact) when one of my picture was featured at weardrobe.com in their "Today on Weardrobe" section.
Weardrobe.com is a Fashion based website where you could post your outfit photos (just like lookbook.nu and chictopia). But I personally think that weardrobe is better in terms of indexing your pictures especially if you're like me, using it to post my daily outfits in an attempt to reach my personal goal of NOT wearing the same style in a year (hopefully I have adequate clothes to mix n match my outfit). Anyway, I got that idea because I was highly inspired by Kasmira of WhatIWoreToday, the Queen of Mix n Match. ^o^

Now what do you think of her style? I know there's always two side of the story so some of you may not be a fan of her style. Well, the truth is I'm not really a big fan of her style too but I always find it interesting to see someone who gets better and better everyday especially in terms of Fashion taste.
