WHAT I WEAR :
4:18:00 PMMy usual routine post is "What I Wear Today" but this time I think I'd post something different. Actually I want to show you three of my latest vintage thrift purchases which I consider a success (well, at least for me) ^o^.
And because this is actually what I wore last week so I thought the title should be called "What I Wore Last Week" but then again I thought that's not a cool title at all so I end up with "What I Wear" instead. -- does that make any sense to you? ^o^
Anyhoo, let's just start now, on to the first outfit :

Anyhoo, let's just start now, on to the first outfit :
I wore this on Monday. I love this dress because it's so lovely, probably the loveliest dress I have ever found in a thrift store! I like the pale blue color with a small squared pattern on it, I also love the sweet neckline and the cute cap sleeves. The cut is very feminine and classic too, though I think I need a little bit alterations at the waist since it's a big loose there. But I love it anyway ^__^
I wore this the next day. I should probably say that this is one of my fabulous vintage find. The dress is from Christian Dior (!) which I wouldn't have the money to afford it in real life ^o^ It has big buttons lined up through the front of the dress. The color is actually dark navy, accentuated with white trimming. I put a wide belt in the middle because I found that it kinda look like a stewardess suit if worn alone (sans the belt) -- see below pic ^o^
(The dress without belt)
I wore this dress on Friday. I was a little bit stressed-out that day because I have my sister-in-law's wedding that Saturday and I was responsible for many details of the event, so in an attempt to lower my stress level I decided to wear a cheerful bright dress that Friday ^o^
I found this dress in a thrift store, it came with a built-in (what do you call it?!) "bow-scarf" ?? -- because it's long like a scarf but I'm sure it was meant to be worn in a knotted shape like a bow. Well anyway, I put on this dress in a hope that this dress will at least make me happy even if it has failed in lowering my stress-level ^o^
-------------------------------------------------------
You could also go to my Weardrobe if you want to see my Daily Wardrobe Chronicles. There you could find my daily wear (what I wear everyday) and my goal is to try NOT to wear the same outfit style in one year time (I hope I have adequate clothes for that ;p).
And a bit reminder for all of you that The GIVEAWAY CONTEST of a Chiffon Skirt from ALBIE will be closed tomorrow, August 5th, by 24:00 Jakarta time (that's roughly means 12 noon USA time) so HURRY UP ENTER the contest if you haven't already !

How about no brands? Vintage? Or just something that has a normal decent price and still looks nice?
