After all the tragedy and drama that happened to my life lately I surely needed a good laugh. A couple of weeks ago me and the big family has been busy in and out of the hospital taking care of my aunt who was in and out of a coma after a big surgery. After more than 10 days at the hospital she passed away :( I was crushed because she was like my second mother, we're kinda closed-tied from since I was a child. Since she only have sons so she treated me like I'm the daughter she never had. She used to make me tiny little dresses and clothes for my Barbie. It's just so sad to see her leave, but at least she's not hurting anymore. Aside from that, I also had my own thing that made me feel kinda low every other time.

But hey, life must go on, and let's keep on blogging. All we need is just a little humor. Me and hubby needs a little funny jokes to make life a little bit easier. Writing something in this blog makes me happy and warm inside, this is what I like best about my job. Doing something that I really love makes me happy. Watching something funny on youtube also makes me happy. There are some funny and hilarious videos on youtube that could be very entertaining :)

Hubby also found a new video website called Break.com, it's online entertainment for guys (no, NOT that kind of 'entertainment for guys only' type of thing). Women can enjoy break.com too, the difference is all the videos in the website are more towards men's interest, like movie trailers, sports, fights, pranks, etc.. you know, guys stuff ^o^

I don't really know why men are into pranks and other silly stuff, or why they love silly cartoon character on their tshirts, funny t-shirts seems to attract men like cute shoes to a woman. I guess those guys like funny stuff since they were young. I remember how my brother loves to attach funny posters in his bedroom wall when he was a young adult.

I guess wearing funny tshirts can help make your day brighter, at least it can make you smile while you look in the mirror before you get out of the house, and you get to make other people smile too when they see your tshirts. I have a couple of funny tees myself, and hubby have lots of 'em! ;)

Anyway, sorry if I bore you. I just need to show you these funny (*maybe a little sarcastic ;p) quotes that has successfully made me smile with a big grin today. It's a wonder how sometimes simple things can make us happy ^__^

Do you know Adam Saaks? He is well known as a designer at Ed Hardy but he's actually a t-shirt ripper or t-shirt cutter, even some people called him a t-shirt circumsizer -lol. He is famous for his signature style of ripping Ed Hardy tshirts into a whole new top! I personally would consider it an art rather than a tshirt because it's just fabulous, fantastic and awe-inspiring. I mean we should collect these tshirts he made, we don't buy it, we collect it ^o^

I know most of you probably didn't know about who Adam Saaks is. I knew about him just days ago, from youtube ;p Adam Saaks is famous for turning a simple Ed Hardy tshirts into another form of cool sexy tshirt just by using a scissor! And usually in less than 10 minutes! Here's what I did last Thursday:


Ha! I know it's a bit rough and far from the tutorial video but it's not bad for me whose known for always having a really low scores on DIY-ing. I'm always bad when it comes to DIY, I'm a sloppy crafter and I don't have the patient to work on much details. So based on my experience, I started this project by using an ugly and very old tshirt of mine instead using one of my jersey tee (i suspect the tshirt used in the tutorial vid is made of jersey or 100% cotton) because I'm afraid that it would fail and instead of getting a new look I'm afraid I will be ruining the tee. So that's why I test it first by using another tee that is neither a jersey or a 100% cotton. And that explain why I didn't get smaller cut-ups strings, and why it's a little rough here and there. But judging from this first attempt, I think I might try a second and maybe a third attempt because I like the result, I like how it gives a crocheted look as well as a little bit edgy look on the tshirt.

Thanks to her, she made it possible for us to (at least) create a tshirt similarly like Adam Saaks's creations. Well, it's just a basic tutorial, but with some creative thinking and imagination I strongly believe you could also create what Adam Saaks does. Why don't you give it a try? I mean it's just a tshirt and a scissor, right? ^o^

Since I haven't put up a "1 item 4 ways" post for so long, I guess it's time for a new post on that ;) If you're my most loyal readers you must remember my "1 item 4 ways" post where I try to assemble or give you some ideas of dressing up 1 item in 4 ways or 4 styles. It was supposed to be a regular post but I was having problems with looklet where i style outfits for this "1 item 4 ways" post, maybe because they were still in beta and then upgrade to friendly-beta version at that time. But now I found that looklet is not in beta anymore, yeay! well still a bit glitch here and there but it's better then the friendly-beta mode ;)



I know I usually write some words to explain each style but right now I don't have much time. It's 3.11 AM in the morning now in where I am and my eyes are getting a bit blurry so that's it for now. For the mean time, just enjoy and tell me which one is your most favorite style ^__^

I was just finishing the HairZing review/giveaway on my other blog TIGERLILY'S BOOK when I suddenly had a really bad gastro! Oh shoot...my stomach feels weird, I vomit (sorry if *tmi), and then my body feels really bad I need to take a rest. So here's a quick short post for you. As I mentioned before, my laptop is broken and had to go to the computer clinic. Now I got my laptop back but all data were gone! They said it's the hard-drive that was broken down and they couldn't saved the data (well they could, but it comes with a very very expensive fee which doesn't make sense), so here I am, losing all my photos and data and sources and everything, sob... :(

So now that I've lost all data, I'm not sure what to post.. I guess I'm just gonna put an easy outfit post. These photos are what's left in my camera memory card so I guess I'll just put it here and saved it. These are outfits that I wore several days ago, around last week..

After my long break from the blogging world due to celebrating Eid I finally back from the hiatus! But there's a bad news.. my laptop decided to broke itself down right when I was just trying to begin my blogging after the long hiatus. So now it's in the computer clinic and I have to work from my family's desktop computer which is actually okay but all my blog data and sources and bookmarks are on the laptop so there's not much I can do from using this PC. I guess from now on I will have to work with what I got, at least until I got my laptop back.
