Hello!
Sorry for the late posts, my brother in law was getting married last weekend so I was busy enough and didn't have time to open my laptop. Now that I'm back, I just found a couple of emails for some event invitations in my inbox. There's one from Kenneth Cole Reaction who is launching their new men's sportswear line at Macy's in Herald Square, New York. To celebrate the launch, Kenneth Cole himself will be hosting the cocktail event, featuring a live performance by Brooklyn-based band Atomic Tom. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 20th at 6pm so if you're a New York based then you could go to the Macy's store and get in on the action :)

Another email is from Fashion Minga which will host a celebrity-packed red carpet and is LA Fashion Week's most prestigious and highly anticipated event. They sent me a link to fill in the press form if I want to cover the event as blogger journalist. Too bad I didn't live in NY or LA nor anywhere near the US of A ^o^ But if I do, I would really love to go and cover the event at my blog.

I hope Jakarta would also have a lively fashion scenes which include bloggers as part of acknowledged journalists like what they did in America. I do notice that a few of the Indonesian fashion industry people are starting to invite fashion bloggers in their campaign but there are only a few of them. Looks like the rest of the industry still hasn't realize the power of social media and bloggers as powerful campaigners ^o^ Well, this is just my two cents..

DAY 4

The pink item I wore on day 4 is the pink trapeze tunic that my SIL gave me as a birthday present. I experiment by wearing it asymmetrically but don't really like the result ;p I really want to wear it unconventionally but didn't really have any idea on how to do it (lol) so if you got any suggestions on how to wear this trapeze tunic a different way please tell me in the comment :)
The gold stacked bracelet is new! I collected Indian style stacked bracelets and so far I only have like 4 of them. And now I have the gold ones, yeay! I plan to collect them in many colors ^o^

The shorts is from Zara and the gladi sandals is from Top Shop. The belt is an old collection of mine, I forgot where I got it, it's really that old ;p

DAY 5

The pink item I wore on day 5 is the pink hair fastener cum bracelet which is a gift from my MIL and the pink/black striped top which I got from a bazaar in my old office. The bag is kinda new, I bought it around last month and this is probably my second wear :) Must wear it often cos I like the shape and I don't know why I'm crazy about quilted bags! I looked at all my bags (which is not too many) and almost 80% of them are quilted bags! ^o^

UPDATED! --> I just realized that I've worn this clothing combination back in February. My goal is to not wear the same outfit in a year's time and although I did wear this combo before but luckily I styled it differently this time so it's totally a new look :)


This is a proof that the same clothes with different accessories can result in different looks, I also styled it differently, you can see that I tucked the blouse inside the black tubedress in my February look, and for the recent look I wore the blouse OVER the tubedress and belted it.

I also just start a new blog post series in my other blog TIGERLILY'S BOOK. It's a Travel Series and yesterday I started with MALDIVES, the land for the lovers.. Please feel free to check it out and leave some comments while you're there :)
