I'm not really in a fit condition right now, looks like this flu virus still lingers in me so I'm just gonna do a quick post. Oh I have one very good news to tell you! Remember my post series on the Jakarta Fashion Week? Well, the reason I wrote it in Indonesian language is because it was for a blog competition. And I win! 2nd place winner! Not bad. I won a Mango watch worth IDR 1.550.000 !

Well actually I was hoping for a cash prize, and I think most of the bloggers who were in the competition also expect a cash prize since it said "jutaan rupiah" on their website. But a Mango watch is enough for me :) I need a new watch anyway :)

But like what me and Desy discussed, they should be clear from the beginning on what the prizes were and at least they could put our blog / our url instead of only our name on their website, so that we both (the bloggers and the JFW) got something out of it so we don't have to feel like we are giving them traffic while we don't accept anything in return. 

But still... I was blessed enough to be able to have the chance to cover the JFW and win a brand new watch in the end. I wonder how the watch would look like, I haven't claimed it. I will put the watch pic here once it's on my hand ;)

Okay, let's move on. 

I thought today I'll just post some old pics and a couple of new ones of my accessories. Here are what's new in my wardrobe:

I'm starting to like scarfs nowadays since I learned that you can wear scarfs in many different ways. And there are many types of scarfs too! So I always find myself looking at cute scarfs at the stores instead of shoes or bags haha Anyway, my beloved aunt passed away a couple of months ago, I did share a bit of the story here on my previous posts. When I came to visit her house again after she's gone, her husband (my uncle) let me choose and take whatever I want from her wardrobe. But I just couldn't do that, I just couldn't rumble her wardrobe and searching for things, I just couldn't do it. So I just took what was outside her wardrobe door. These scarfs were hanging on the front of her wardrobe door so I picked 2 scarfs that I like and that's it. These scarfs would always make me remember of her..

The first one is a big cotton scarf in dark purple. I'm kinda into purple again and I love the long tassels (what do you call it?tassels?) that hangs on the bottom of each side so I took this one. And the other one is a thin see-through orange scarf with small glitters on it, I thought it'd make a great pop-up color to my wardrobe. And here are some of the ways I wore them:

I bought the white long necklace from a cousin whose helping her friend selling jewelry. It was for IDR 50.000. The material is like little white beads attached in a very flexible string, I like the shape because i can wear it long, or wrap around twice to make it shorter or wrap it around thrice to make a pretty choker. I could also make a knot if I want another style. Another reason why I bought it is because it's white, I can't believe I don't own a full white necklace in my wardrobe! But now I do ;p

I bought the white necklace above from my cousin when I was visiting her house. Just before I went home her mother called me in and offer me this pretty bright blue necklace, it was hers a long time ago and she doesn't wear it anymore because now she's wearing hijab so she said if I want it I could have it. What? of course i said yes to free things! ^o^ Especially when it's cute like this..
