Here's an idea of what to wear to the town festival. The town festival is a celebration of it's own. Everybody seems happy at the festival and the atmosphere is so great, it almost feels like a New Year's Eve Party!
So why not being fun and festive yourself by wearing a combination of fun color and mixed style?
From my wardrobe I would pull out this ensemble to go watch the big festival and be a part of the celebration! These outfit is eclectic, the skirt is more of a "country" style with that gingham pattern, while the top is a bit folkloric. Does this outfit reminds you of Heidi or some sort of a prairie girl in a story book? Well, it does to me ^o^
This cute top is actually part of a themed outfit which I got from a costume shop called Flaunt on Fashion (you can read my review here). It's actually part of a "school girl costume", if I have to shop for costumes I make sure that I chose a costume that can be worn or can be incorporated to your daily wardrobe. That way, you'll get two use of it ;)
The blue checked skirt is from D'Brasco, it has a full A-line shape.
Although this outfit has a "mismatched" quality in it, they still have something in common which is: the checked pattern. If you noticed the top also has checked pattern as decoration.
Finished the look by matching the shoes with the skirt (blue on blue), and match the jewelry with the top (red stacked bangles match the red on the top). The bag can be of neutral color such as pale grey, look for a simple style, and small bag would be better because you don't want a huge bag to steal the attention from your already busy outfit :P

Another outfit choice to go see the town festival:
Have fun with your outfit and show that fun spirit seriously with these awesome colorful booties. And if you're already sporting a colorful fun shoes then why not wear a fun top too? This cool printed sleeveless tee will go along great with the booties. You can also add a fun looking bag if you want too. To tone it down, wear black on the bottom and go easy on the accessories, the fewer and neutral the accessories the better ;)
