Local Store Highlight: P.A.N.G
2:24:00 AMI was sent this gorgeous grey tunic/dress from a new local brand called P.A.N.G. Their concept is simplicity, easy to wear clothes with breathable fabric. They are based in Bali but you can find them in various fashion bazaar in Jakarta area.
I was asked to choose an item but it was out of stock, and then Inda from PANG suggested me the Luna Dress when I mention that I'm a petite size. And I'm so glad I listened to her suggestion because the Luna Dress is perfect! I think it's very suitable for any body types and not just for petites ;)
I love this dress. I love it for the fabric which is 100% super fine rayon. I also love the cut and the fit. And I love how versatile it can get.
To have a look at it, I styled it in three different outfits. And here goes outfit #1:
Luna Dress is a high-waisted dress that falls in mid thigh, and it has a full circle bottom sleeves (which I adore!). It also has other cute accents such as a Mao collar and a contrasting gold piping details. The fit is loose so it's perfect for that casual / laid-back look which fit the everyday wear, especially in this humid tropical weather of Jakarta.
Here I'm wearing it as it is (as a dress). I paired it with a bronze-colored belt and sandals to highlight the gold piping details in the dress. The belt is from a garage sale and the sandal is from TopShop. I also wore it half-unbuttoned with an ivory tank underneath. Then I added a gold-colored necklace with dark grey heart stone pendant to match the whole outfit color. Yeah, I'm kinda miss match-y like that ^o^
Outfit #2:
I put on some skinny trousers underneath to make this dress a blouse. I un-buttoned the 2 top buttons because that's the way I would wear my blouses. I paired it with some black accessories such as my black C&K sandals, black vintage Etienne Aigner bag and my fake glasses. Haha my hubs actually found this glasses in his parent's car and nobody knows where the glasses came from. I wore this just for the fun photo sake because I actually not really fond of this particular one ;P I took it off once we're out of the house to go meet some friends of ours that day.
Oh and I wore a blue/white/black earrings just for accents ^__^
Outfit #3:
This dress is not just perfect for a casual laid-back look, it's actually very versatile. After trying it on as a dress and a tunic blouse, I also tried it tucked in to a skirt. And it turns out quite sophisticated ;)
This time I buttoned it up all the way. This outfit would be perfect for an informal meeting or maybe even for work. I wore this to go to my friend's office and had a little meeting there. I tucked the dress into my new polkadot skirt from Chic Simple (which I bought at Metro Big Sale the other day), Ananas pumps (the most comfortable heels I have), Noche grey quilted bag, and a black necklace which I bought from a friend a few years ago. Oh and I also add a black satin bow as a belt around my waist for accent.
Other accessories I wore with this outfit are the black hoop earrings which I got a long time ago from a bazaar, and a silver rose ring which is a very old collection of mine (it's so old I actually forgot where I got it).
So anyway, this PANG Luna dress is very versatile as you can see above. This dress is available at PANG's website www.panglook.com and available in 3 colors. This dress is IDR 450k and it comes with great quality and great fabric. Other items that I love from PANG's lookbook is the Winona dress in Mid Grey and Indi Blouse in Mocca.
