I will make this Bag of News edition really quick because right now is 12:41 AM and I'm still recovering from my flu so I need some rest, and I have to get up early soon too, so yeah.. here's a few links for you:

I found a very interesting article with slide show on Lucky Mag website a couple of days ago. Since my other passion is History so this kind of article is interesting for me. They cover "Fifth Avenue: Then and Now". I always love "Then & Now" stories, especially if it include pictures! As you can see, below are some old pictures in Fifth Avenue New York a long long time ago, and guess what building that takes their place now ;)
This is once a home to the Vanderbilt family, at those times they were the healthiest family among the New York socialites. Can you believe having a house right there on the main street with maybe a hundred rooms and all those amenities?
This place is now occupied by Juicy Couture store.
And this one is another Vanderbilt's house mansion too. This one was built for Cornelius Vanderbilt II. This great mansion (or should we say "mini palace?") was used for socialites parties at the time. People wants to be seen hanging out here.
Currently the space is occupied by Bergdorf Goodman, no less ^o^
If you wanna see the rest of the slideshow, go to Lucky Mag website here.

I have heard about Etude House before but never try their make up / lotions and not sure what to get, so when CutieLippi held a giveaway including a few items from Etude house I thought I should go ahead and try my luck ^o^
Those are a bunch of goodies that she will send along with the Etude House items. You can go to her blog here to participate, it's open for International ^__^

And last but not least, I just read a very useful article on Style Sample Magazine about how to take self portrait for fashion bloggers. Taking your own photo sometimes can be frustrating, right? it's easier to have a partner or a friend or a sister who can help you take your pictures, but sometimes you can't count on them to take your daily photos forever, right? I mean they too have their own agenda and schedules that sometimes don't match yours. So I think, learning how to photograph yourself is important if you want to have great and representative photos (no accidentally weird cropped-head, no blurry photo, no weird angles, etc hehe). So check out this "Tips from a pro: Self-portrait photography" on SS Magazine here.
And that's it guys!
Oh and I would love to let you know that if I happen to be missing in my blog for several days ahead that's because Eid Al Fitr is coming and I will go out of town to celebrate it with all my families, it's a big national holiday here so I might be on holiday mood for a while and probably too lazy to blog (;p) so yeah, see you soon!
