There will be some late posts here for the next couple of days, I've been busy and trying my best to update this blog. There are still lots of important posts to be posted and I'm catching up on it. After my late posts of the Clarins event and the MUFE event, this is another late post :(

So a couple of weeks ago I attended the Island Shop fashion show at Pondok Indah Mall 1. The fashion show was actually open for public because it was held inside the Metro dept store at ground level.

Island Shop is a Singaporean-based fashion store that offers a wide range of laid-back / bohemian / island-hopping outfit style. The main core of their style is "vacation-inspired lifestyle", so you can expect loose-fitting, sheer, flowy dresses and tunics as well as cute little cotton dress and breezy maxi dresses and skirts.

There are actually some pieces that I love from the fashion show. The whole collection gives out a boho chic feels, a combination of casual, vintage, and 70s style with a little bit of ethnic details on the pattern.

Sorry I forgot to bring my camera that day so I just snapped photos from my phone and the models were moving so quickly...so please forgive the bad pics here, my bad..

Anyway, Island Shop outlet is available at Metro dept store Pondok Indah Mall 1. 

I'm not sure if they are also available in other Metro dept store though...

And here's what I wore to see the fashion show. I got this new scalloped collar from Romwe and I was wearing it earlier in the day. I had a meeting that afternoon, right after the fashion show, and unfortunately I spilled something on my collar that left a big mark on it -__- 

So I had to take the collar off and went to the meeting without it. Luckily I can take the damage out, imagined if it spilled on an actual collar of my dress I would cry from the humiliation ;p
