Last week I was invited to another event by MUFE (Make Up Forever). It's a beauty blogger gathering held at MUFE Academy in Plaza Indonesia with the theme: "Rouge Artist". We were welcomed by friendly MUFE staffs and a table full of colorful makeups and tools!

The Rouge Artist collection is a real artist's palette in which make up expresses itself and turns into an experience. The first edition of the Rouge Artist range is the Rouge Artist Natural. Part lipstick and part lip care, the Rouge Artist Natural is a collection of pastel-colored lipsticks with high moisture levels and superb soft texture.

It's rich with moisturizer, keeping lips soft and moisturized, and it's available in 50 gorgeous colors with three different effects: Satiny, Iridescent, and Diamond.

The second edition is the Rouge Artist Intense. This collection offers a more intense color with high coverage. These are more pigmented so you will get intense color from the first swipe. This collection is also available in 50 gorgeous color with three different finish: Matte, Satiny, and Pearly.

After the introduction to the collection, we were paired one by one to have a little makeover game using the Rouge Artist range. The point is to dress up your partner's lips with colors that we don't usually wear everyday, i.e: bold colors. We can also opt for a really pale lips if combined with bold eyeshadows.

I paired up with Matcha from Peach Matcha, she was sitting next to me so I automatically asked if we should pair up and she agreed. Matcha told me that she never wear bold lipcolors, she always uses natural shades and soft colors on her lips, so when she said that and by looking at her glowing skin I suggested a deep red color for her lips. At first she reluctantly agrees because she's just not used to it, but I found a shade that's perfect for her face and she looks great in it! 

I also gave her eyes a shimmering / glittery eyeshadows in natural shades and accentuate her eyeliner a little bolder and gave a sparkly white silver eyeliner on her lower eyeline. Added some pink blushes and we're done!

I actually mixed two red shades and applied a lipgloss in similar shade on top of it. Sadly I forgot to take note of the shade numbers, doh -__-

And then it's Matcha's turn to makeover me ;p 

She took inspirations from my blouse's color and applied it to my eyes. She used electric blue eye pencil from the new AquaShadow range to line my eyes and she used a few mix of colors for my lips. Here's the final result:

The other bloggers also do a great job and we had fun playing with all the make up. Most of us raved about the brushes too ;p After the mini makeover, Adinda as the MUFE PR reps invited us to go have a late dinner at Kitcehenette restaurant, daring us to wear our freshly applied bold colored makeup and exposing it to the public ;p Unfortunately I couldn't join because it was already late and my kind hubby was already waiting downstairs to pick me up. 

But nonetheless, I had fun and each of us came home with a turquoise package from MUFE too! The color of the package matches my blouse, turquoise is so in! LOL -
