I might have told you on this blog how I like my hands to be dry and clean all the time. It may sounds like a freak but I DON'T like it if my hands (especially my palms) are wet or feels dirty or greasy. 

I like my hands totally dry from anything, and that's why I always wash my hands regularly because every time I touch something that would left residue on my hands I'll wash it immediately or wiped it off with a wet tissue or hand sanitizer. Example: right after I touch money, right after I touch my cats, after getting out of the car, after touching keys or other metal items, etc.. you get the idea ;p

And that's why hand sanitizer is a MUST for me. I bring them everywhere.. I have one on my side table, I have one on my work desk, one in the car, one in my travel makeup case, and one in my hand bag - That's how serious I am with hand sanitizer ;p

I even used pocket sanitizer long before they got popular nowadays ;p I still remember people would always asked what's that thing I'm using on my hands before I eat at public places, LOL. And now everybody seems to have one ;p That's great, because it means a higher awareness for personal health.

We all know the American brand of hand sanitizer which is so popular right now (Bath & Body Works), but they are not widely available here yet. And the local brand's hand-sanitizers don't have much choices on the scent options and they all tend to have a strong alcoholic scent (which I hate), so now I would love to introduce you to another option of hand-sanitizer / antibacterial gel that you can get easily here in Indonesia:

Hand Cleanse Gel from The Body Shop

Honestly I was clueless and didn't know that The Body Shop actually have an antibacterial hand gel. Maybe because I never noticed it before at the store ;p But how I'm glad now that I found out about it!

I got the Satsuma scent which is like a fresh citrus / orange scent. I usually can't stand a citrus scent but this Satsuma one is so fresh and the citrus scent in it doesn't smell artificial at all so it smells fresh and invigorating instead ;)

The bottle is small enough for us to carry around on our bags, it's bigger than the popular BBW brand but this TBS one have 60ml of gel in it which is a lot! I would prefer to buy this hand sanitizer over the other ones because I know this one would last longer ;)

The texture of this hand sanitizer is as you can see on below photo, it's made of gel (hence the name, doh), it's transparent, and it's not too thick nor it is too runny. 

I'd say the texture is perfect for a hand cleanser/sanitizer gel. The scent is also not too strong and too overwhelming so it obviously won't bug anyone sitting near you, but it left your hands smells good and the scent does lingers and stays on your hand for quite some time. 

It also dries up perfectly in no time so you won't have to wait that long for your hands to be completely dry. It also left no residue at all so your palm would stay dry with no greasy feeling at all. The only feeling it left behind is the clean feeling on your hands ;)

As for the ingredient department, it contains no triclosan.
