Meanwhile, I've been browsing their site and found some very gorgeous and super cool sunglasses that would be perfect for summer and hot days where the sun shines upon us with no mercy. 

I am currently loving their Michael Kors sunglasses as well as their Marc by Marc Jacobs and also one of the Chloe sunglasses that looks really cute. But my first option would be this cool aviator sunglasses from Guess with white and silver style that would look so chic for a day at the beach or for a day out just strolling around under the summer days:

I don't really have many sunglasses in my wardrobe, I only have around 5 pairs, I think.. And I know many of you might have 10 pairs and others collects them too.. so maybe I would start building my collection too, who knows..? ^o^

I got this from one of those online shop in Facebook. I kinda like it although it's a bit too long for me (because I'm short ;p). For some reason I can not wear it as chic as the model who wears it in the advertisement (doh) -__- But I still like it nonetheless.

I also got these from one of the online store in Facebook. These are Korean fashion items and they were cheap too :) - I actually picked up the black & white bow cardigan because it reminds me of the polished Chanel look but it was actually a knit cardigan. It's my fault because I thought it was cotton when I saw the photo on the web, I didn't read the description carefully. But that's okay because I still like it ;) I haven't worn the purple/orange colorblock dress yet but I have worn the cardigan to the Body Shop BFF meet-up a while ago ;)

Payless Montago Bay Coral Sprinkles

Hubby K was buying shoes in Payless and then there's a "Buy 1 Get 2nd item 50% Off" promo so I bought this one and got it for quite a steal because of the promo :D I needed more flats (sandals or shoes) so I got this cute coral one instead, complete with those cute little pompom flower on the top ;p

Elle Socks

I got three more socks to add to my socks collection, yay :D I love wearing socks during sleep so I almost always wear socks at night before going to bed. And I love socks! There are many variations of them with various prints and patterns, I love opening up my socks drawer and seeing all those cute and colorful socks inside ;) 

 Stroberi Hauls

Stroberi is one of those accessories store that you could find at the mall. I knew about Stroberi since they opened their store at Pondok Indah Mall years ago. But I never went in there because I thought they're the same as Naughty (another similar store that I often go to in the past). I thought their items would just be similar with the ones in Naughty and I don't really fancy Naughty anymore because I hardly got anything cute or good enough from them anymore. BUT I was proven wrong when one day while killing time waiting for some people, I decided to just go ahead and see what's inside the store. I had nothing better to do and the Stroberi store is right in front of where I was standing. So I went and found out that their stuffs are actually way better than Naughty! They have many cute accessories especially Japanese style accessories, and they're dirt cheap too! I can't wait to go there again to stock up my accessories collection ;p - Below are the items I bought:

Paul Smith Black Cardigan

I love wearing pajama pants or yoga pants at home because they're so comfortable to lounge in and they make me warm (because my room air-con is super cold although I set it to "low"). So I always needed a new pajama/yoga pants because I actually didn't have that many and wanted to start collecting them because they're so comfy.

I also love cardigans although I didn't seem to wear them that often (doh). And one must need a basic black cardigan. It's one of the fashion must-have staple. - I already have a black cardigan but it starting to worn out because it's so old, so I decided to get a new one and this Paul Smith one has a great quality that I know will endure for the longest time.

 Guess Hoodie Jacket + Ruched Top

My Old Navy grey hoodie is my go-to jacket because it is soooo comfortable to wear and it's perfect for colder days like this rainy season we're having now. But the Old Navy one is also getting older and started to show some wear & tear because I wore it so often! And I don't want to put more damage to it because I wanna keep wearing it, so I thought it's time to get a new one for back up. I found one from Guess which surprisingly really fits me like a glove! Because most of the time jackets and outerwear usually runs big on me and it's hard to find a jacket that fits my petite framing so when I found something that fits, I would purchase it if the price is right. 

This jacket from Guess has a sparkly application at the front and a rose thread print at the side arms. It also has a kangaroo pocket at the front which for me is as important as the hoodie ;)

The black top is made from the thinnest fabric I have ever worn ;p It's so comfortable and perfect for hot summer days when the sun is shining super bright because the material is so thin and airy. Love it!

Nike Sweatshirt / Sweater

I don't know if I should call this a sweater or a sweatshirt because this has zipper that only goes for half the front and a kangaroo pocket as well as a hoodie. Whatever the name is, I love it. We're getting into colder seasons where we should expect lots of rains here so I've been purchasing clothes that are suitable for colder seasons such as the pajama pants, the hoodie jacket, and this sweater. I actually never own one like this before. For me it's either fully zipped up or no zip at all. So this half zipped up style is totally new to me and I've been craving it since I saw a couple of Youtubers hauling these kind of sweaters. And I'm glad I found one ;) - This Nike one is so comfortable to wear, it's really warm and cozy and looks really sporty and casual chic. I also love the cute little shoe zipper! Can you spot the shoe zipper? ;p

The Limited Sleeveless Ruffle Blouse

I don't own anything like this in my closet so I got this on one of my shopping trip. When I tried it on, hubby K said: 

"Really? Purple? But you never wear purple".

Me: "That's because I don't have much purple in my closet".

And that is exactly the reason why I got this one ;p

I got this cool sunglasses from one of my blog partner. She gave me a coupon to this cool sunglasses website as a thank you note for helping her in her project. I found this super cool sunglasses on the website, this is matte black on the outside and on the inside it has animal print! It also has a slightly cat eye shape. Coolest sunglasses ever! :D

 Chicnova Accessories (FREEBIE)

As I told you before on my previous post I won a Chicnova giveaway and got a coupon code that I can redeem on their website. 

Chicnova offers Korean & Japanese fashion but I decided to get some new accessories instead. I chose 3 different kinds of accessories but when they arrived one of them was broken and Chicnova has kindly gave me another chance to get something else from them. What a very great service! - So I got 4 accessories in total: 2 necklaces & 2 bangle sets. I love bangle sets and wants to collect them in every colors, LOL.. Anyway, I'm thinking of making a review post on these accessories and Chicnova in general, soon.

 Vintage Scarf (FREEBIE)

My mom in law gave me this really pretty scarf and I love it because it's so colorful. It's perfect to brighten an otherwise gloomy day. Because the material of the scarf is thin so I like to wear it with a plain white tee and jeans, just like you see in the photo above ;)

 2 Batik Dresses + Accessories (FREEBIE)

My mom in law also gave me these 2 batik dresses with a necklace and 2 beaded bracelets. I love the modern style of the batik dress especially the red brick one because it is actually a 2-piece with a detachable cropped peplum bolero, so cute!

The blue one also has a beautiful batik pattern and I also love both of the bracelets she gave me ;)

 2 Bangle Sets from my Sister in Law (FREEBIE)

I have been very blessed to have in laws family that are so very nice and kind to me. Not only that I got a gift from my Mom in law, I also got a gift from my sister in law. This is actually a birthday gift. She gave me these 2 sets of bangles which I love so much. The first one is a set of wooden bangle which I already wore too often by now ;p And the other one is a pretty dark grey bauble bracelet set that comes attached with a pretty black ribbon. Love them both ;)

 Batik Cropped Blazer (FREEBIE)

Last but not least, my mom gave me this Batik cropped blazer from her trip to Jogja (the land of Batik, LOL). I love this one because it's pink and it has cute modern style, and because it fits my petite frame perfectly! Basically I love everything that fits me ;p And I love Batik in modern style pieces. So now I have 3 new Batik items from my 2 moms :) - Love them!

It's been a long overdue Monthly Favorites post (my last one is in June - Gasp). I thought I'm gonna spruce things up again in this blog after my sporadic posting a while ago due to my freelance jobs. I think I can manage my time a little better now and that's why you see me posting almost everyday this week ;p

Korres Guava & Fig Tropical Fruit Shower Gel Duo

This is my first time trying Korres product and I am straightly in love. I love how these shower gels feels on my skin during application as well as right after the shower. It doesn't make my skin dry at all, in fact there's no sign of dryness at all, it left my skin moist and clean and smells good :) 

The Guava is one of Korres's best-seller scent and that's why I got this package at the first place. The Fig is also a great scent. Both scents does not smells strong or artificial, it smells sweet and soft and makes you feel relaxed. I definitely would love to try other Korres products.

Relian Mascara  

with Transplanting Gel & Natural Fibers

This is the b.o.m.b. 

This even out-run my number one HG mascara which is my Givenchy Phenomen'eyes Mascara. But I would still prefer the Givenchy for it's practicality because although this Relian mascara really delivers but it takes 2-3 steps to use. 

This is not like your ordinary mascara. This is a mascara set that comes with 2 bullet-like packaging, one is a transplanting gel and the other one is chock full of natural fibers that are supposed to give that "false eyelashes" look to our eyes. I love the result so much, and I will do a proper review on this soon ;)

Revlon PhotoReady Two Way Powder Foundation

I can not go out without this! I love the PhotoReady line, it really suits my preference, how I want my makeup to be. Revlon PhotoReady line is perfect for those of you who likes a matte finish or for those of you who likes to take pictures of yourselves ;p This Two Way Foundation is my guarantee that I will not look shiny or dull on my photos ;p It also seems to reflect light too so that my face seems brighter. It has SPF 19 and a lightweight formula with a sleek compact container and a wide mirror inside. Love this!

Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick

A true red lipstick that seems to match most skin tones. I never really think that a true red like this one would suits my appearance or my skin tone but this #42 shade really proves me wrong. I also love Make Up Forever lipsticks texture because they are always soft and moist and would not dry-cracked my lips. This shade is also great for taking photos because the shade actually makes you look fresh and vibrant. And this shade would def shows on my photos because usually my other lipsticks won't really show their colors on the photos ;p

The Body Shop White Musk Eau De Toilette

It always been one of my favorite scent and it still is my favorite scent :) Because of this perfume I now know that I am more into musky, lily, rose, patchouli, velvet, and vetiver scents. It's important to know your preferable scents so that when you shop online or when you want to buy perfume, body mist, etc that you can not try first before you buy, you can read the description on the box to see whether you will favor the scent or not ;p - I did a fuller review on this White Musk perfume here.

The Body Shop Blush Brush

The first item from The Body Shop that I bought with my own money was a cheek color with a shade similar to this one. It was a very loooong time ago when the packaging of the cheek colors were different than this one. The packaging was way bigger back then. I bought my first cheek color with the blush brush and the beauty advisor chose the shade for me, and I love it! And that was my first love story with The Body Shop Cheek Color ;) 

I always love how TBS blushes looks natural on the cheek, it doesn't really show (although it's buildable) but it somehow gave you an overall healthy looking face, like your cheeks are naturally rosy. They don't have many color options and they are all towards the sheer, but if you don't like a bright blush then this might be your option ;)

Revlon PhotoReady Color Correcting Primer

Another product from the Revlon PhotoReady line, this is my number one primer these days. I simply can not put on my makeup before putting this first ;p I have written a full review of this primer here, you can read there why I love this primer so so much - except for the scent which is a little bit on the icky side ;p

I actually don't shop that much and I certainly didn't buy all the products that are now piling in my bedroom. Some are gifted to me, and some are from event's goodie bags, PR samples, winning giveaways, and occasional freebies that I sometimes received.

I also have this tendency to Not finish the products, especially if I like it very much then I would use it and then stopped using it when it reached about 1/2 or 1/4 amount left, and that's simply because I want to save it (-___-). But most of the time I would usually end up forgetting the half empty products and just start using new ones without finishing the old ones. And that's why I still have many bottles and jars of products in my bedroom that are still 1/2 or 3/4 full (insert hysteric sound here). I need to reorganize!!

So I thought I will start a new series on my blog called "Products I Finished" - which hopefully will motivate me to finish all the products that I have right now. Can you believe it if I told you that currently I have about 24 different kind of soaps / scrubs / shower gels that are already opened and waiting for me to finish them during shower? And that I have about 20 body lotions / hand creams that are also already opened but none of them is nearly finished? And many other products that are just waiting for me to finish it so that I could toss them away and make new space for my newly purchased products...

And that's what eventually got me here. I should start finishing my products so that I don't hoard that much stuffs anymore and make way for newer stuffs ;p

To start this series, I've been collecting all the empty containers to make note of the progress as well as making a list of the products that I finally finished. So this is the accumulation of my empties / products that I finished starting from the middle of September until the end of last month (October):


I was actually delighted to see that I managed to empty this much of products in about 2 months. There are a few of travel / sample sizes that I finally used up, and I think the amount of the small size products that I finished this time are almost equal to the amount of full size products, and I'm quite satisfied with that.

Here is a short review / my take on the products after I finished using them up:

• Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel Alcohol-Free Toner with Aloe Vera:

• Victoria's Secret Sweet Temptation Silkening Body Splash:

This is what I used to clean my makeup on my lazy days. This is an all-in-one cleanser with liquid texture which you poured into a cotton pad and wiped all around your face. I basically love all-in-one product because of the practicality of it, but sometimes I'm not too sure if it really cleanse my face thoroughly. So overall, I love this for the practicality (it cleans, tones, and moisturize at once), cheap price, and for the ability to remove eye makeup moderately.

- Recommended? Yes, if you don't wear too much makeup or have too little time.

- Repurchase? Maybe, all-in-one products are good for traveling.

I finally finished this face scrub, it took forever to finish it. I actually like using this scrub because it's in a comforting gel texture with tiny beads in it. It feels soft and not harsh for my skin at all, and it also left my skin smoother and brighter-looking. This is also a light formula so you can use it / scrub your face daily with this. Overall, I love the texture and how it feels on the skin.

- Recommended? Yes, it's great for a daily face scrub.

- Repurchase? No. I want to try other face scrubs ;p

It's dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested. It has a water & oil formula that are typically found in eye makeup remover, so you have to shake the bottle first before pouring it on the cotton pads to remove your eye makeup. I actually have tried the similar Maybelline version before and I think the Maybelline one is better than this L'oreal one in terms of lifting up heavy eye makeup as well as waterproof mascaras. I'd say this one is a "Okay".

- Recommended? Not really, I would recommend the Maybelline one instead.

I got this a long time ago and forgot that I still had it (did this happened to you a lot too?). I remember the scent was very sweet, like a candy-scent. It may be too sweet for the summer time, and the scent is a bit too strong when I first applied it on, but it will dissolve quickly and leaves the sweet scent only on the skin. I was sad because when I found this bottle the lotion has changed into an icky texture and I don't think I could use it anymore. The scent is also not the same anymore. I only got a few uses out of it before I decided to throw it away :(

- Recommended? Yes, if you like thicker lotion and sweet-like-candy scent.

- Repurchase? Probably no, because I prefer light texture in lotions.

This shampoo is infused with Red Raspberry and supposed to give a satin finish for long hair. I always love the scents of all Herbal Essences shampoo and this one is no exception. I couldn't exactly define it in words because I'm bad in describing scents but overall it's a very soft sweet fruity scent. It doesn't give my limp hair any bounce or volume but it sure does makes it smooth to the touch. I also found that I need to wash my hair almost everyday with this shampoo (instead of my regular 2-3 days) because otherwise my hair would look icky and more limp.

- Recommended? Not to oily hair. Although the scent is great but it gave no volume or bounciness.

- Repurchase? No.

I love this shower gel. I love trying on different shower gels and this is one of my fave so far. It's perfect for those morning showers where you need to "wake" yourself up. It's energizing and uplifting with lemony notes, tangerine, and lemongrass to stimulate your mind and spirit. At least that's what it said on the bottle, and I think it quite delivers :)

This is my 2nd Talika Lipocils Expert and I can't stop saying how great it is. It does lengthens and thickens as well as curls up my lashes in just a month. Read my thorough review here.

- Recommended? Yes, definitely.

- Repurchase? Maybe I would if they have deep discounts because it's expensive ;p

This gift set comes in a mini travel size bottles which surprisingly can lasts up to more than 10 times of usage (maybe because I have a small face so I only need small amount every time I use it). This gift set includes a Gold Kiwi Emulsion and Gold Kiwi toner. I also have reviewed this in more details on my previous post here.

It's in a travel size tube but for me the amount in it is enough for about 2 months of usage. The texture is thick so it doesn't absorbs easily on my combination-oily skin. It also felt uncomfortable when applied to the skin because of the thick dry lotion type, but overall it didn't leave any greasy feeling afterwards and make my primer and powder stay put.

- Recommended? Maybe it would be great for those with normal skin.

- Repurchase? No, I don't think it suits my skin condition.

This has been my favorite. I even put this product on my June Favorite list and I didn't finished the product that month because (again) I was trying to "save the best for last". But I finally decided to finish it last month. This is actually my first Clarins experience and it really convinced me that Clarins is truly a luxurious product. It just felt "different". The scent is also very "spa-like" and it just feels luxurious on your skin.

- Recommended? Yes, definitely. Especially for normal to combination skin.

- Repurchase? Yes, as soon as I have the money (LOL).

This lip balm is one of my fave in terms of moisturizing properties. I love Chapstick because it could really moisten my lips as well as gives a certain lip treatment to it. I don't know what it does or what the full ingredients were but all I know is my lips are moist and soft, and I only need to apply lip balm every 4 to 5 hours or so (unlike other lip balms which are not really moisturizing so I have to apply it every hour or so). I didn't get the strawberry scent / flavor though... ;p

- Recommended? Yes.

- Repurchase? Yes, in different variant.

This is by far, the number one Maybelline mascara I love the most! Well, I haven't tried any new Maybelline mascaras yet but so far this Volum Express Turbo Boost is my most favorite Maybelline mascara. It really lives up to it's name. It lengthens and really thickens my lashes and makes it looks really bold and dark, just the way I want them to be ;) 

- Recommended? Yes, definitely. I'm really satisfied with it.

- Repurchase? Yes, definitely!

I have quite a pile of samples and/or products in sachets which I tend to stock, but then I thought I'm just gonna use it up because otherwise I would end up in piles again ^o^.. From the photo above, the Innisfree is a full-sized sheet mask, the L'oreal Hair Spa is a generous sample sachet, and the Mustika Ratu Facial Wipes is a full-sized product. 

This is my 2nd Innisfree sheet mask after the 1st one I've tried (and reviewed) which is the Avocado one. I love the thin texture and the size of the mask is average so it fits my small Asian face, not too wide or too big like other sheet masks I've tried. I love how it gives a comfortable feeling when I wear it on my face, it's so relaxing and felt great on my skin. Afterwards, my skin looks refreshed, revitalized and fully hydrated.

If you're my overseas reader then you might not know what a creambath is ;p A creambath is a hair treatment that are commonly found in hair salons here in Indonesia. It's basically like a hair mask and it's purpose is also very similar to a hair mask. We usually did it in the hair salon but you can do it yourself at home with this product. I must say that this is very good stuff! I don't use this as a creambath treatment but rather as a deep conditioner that I did once a week. It really made my hair silky and satiny every time. My hair falls nicely and pleasant to touch and smells good too. Exactly like what you get from a treatment at the hair salon ;p

- Recommended? Yes. You can use it as at-home creambath or use it as a deep conditioner like I did :)

- Repurchase? Yes, in fact there's a good deal at Grupbuys right now. You can get the full size tub for only IDR 95.000 instead of the regular price (IDR 170.000). Buy it now at Grupbuys.

The word "herbal" usually would put me off because I'm not fond of herbal scents but the words "chamomile and aloe vera" made me think that maybe this one has a pleasant smell afterall. Well, it doesn't -__- This smells unpleasant for me, and the power of the cleansing wipes is very low. It claims to remove waterproof mascara but it hardly removed any of my makeup, let alone removing any mascara! I love the packaging though, I'm so disappointed by the poor quality of this supposedly makeup remover :(

- Recommended? No, don't waste your money ;p

- Repurchase? No, definitely not.

While I was organizing my pile of products I also found two products that I don't think I could use myself so I'm getting them out of my product piles by donating them to someone else. I hate throwing products away so I prefer to give it to someone else who might have the benefit of using it:

Revlon Colorstay Makeup with SoftFlex for Normal to Dry Skin in #300 True Beige

This is too dark for my skin color and I couldn't use it as shading too because it's not dark enough for shading, so I'm thinking of giving this to my cousin who has one skintone darker than mine or maybe I'll save it for a giveaway in the future.

Raw Gaia Revitalizing Eye Oil

This has a very thick texture which doesn't feel comfortable on my already oily eye area, and that's why I almost never use it. I think this is more suitable towards those who has dry skin around their eyes area so maybe I would give this to my mom instead.

And that's it guys.. 

I'm glad that my product piles are now a little less crowded and this post series has motivate me to keep finishing my old products and throw away products that are already bad / expired.
