Review: Talika Skin Retouch

Today I have another Talika product that I want to review and share with you guys.. I love Talika products because their products are always innovative, and they seems to always mix skincare with technology. And I am a big techie lover as well as skincare devotee, so seeing a daily skincare product that are developed with some technology always amazes me.
If you read my last Talika review post about their famous Light Duo or my previous review about the awesome Talika Lipocils Expert, you'll see what I mean ;p
Talika products are mostly created with a genius mind and a high tech system, and that's why their products are so unique and unlike most of the other skincare tools out there. I love how their products stands out among the others because of their uniqueness. If you check their website or visit their counter and look around at their products you'll understand what I'm talking about here ;)

The product that I want to review today is another innovative product from Talika which is the Talika Skin Retouch.
It is basically a "skin corrector" liquid that can retouch the appearance of your skin. It creates a smooth "no-visible-pores" surface on your skin creating a perfect base for your makeup application and a much smoother and younger looking face. It's simply creates a "photo retouch technique" on your face.
This is another of Talika products that are made with high technology in mind, it's actually derived from photo retouching techniques, just like using photoshop on your photos to make your face looks flawless ;p
What the website says:
Over time, the face loses its smoothness. The skin does not reflect light evenly anymore. The skin starts to look dull, tired, and greyish. SkinRetouch Face® acts as an instant corrector of time by playing smartly with light. The skin looks immediately younger.
Claims: Blurs fine lines and wrinkles, Unifies and matifies complexion, and Tightens pores.

The Talika Skin Retouch worked by filling in wrinkles so that the skin is smoother. It also fills in fine lines, pores and dehydrated lines without clogging the skin. It's other functions are to reduce shine and make the skin looks matte. It hides redness and cover imperfections on the skin surface to
reflect light evenly. The final result is a brighter complexion and a
younger looking face.
How To Use:
- Apply your usual skin care / moisturizer on cleansed skin.
- Click to rotate and unlock it's applicator.
- Squeeze out a small amount at a time and apply the Skin Retouch with the built-in spatula all over the face in a thin layer, from the center of the face outwards.
- Allow to dry completely. Do not rub in. Do not apply with fingers.

The texture is like a transparent primer, it's a non-drying moisturizing complex formula, and the tip of the applicator makes it really easy and convenient to use on your face, hand, or neck. It does takes a little while to be fully absorbed by the skin but when it is fully absorbed you can see the difference almost immediately.
The packaging has a unique applicator. It comes in a tube form and has this silicone spatula applicator at the top. It also has a lock system in which you just rotate the applicator to the right or left in order to open or close the spatula. This way it's more comfortable to carry around in your makeup travel bag because it won't leak and spills. The silicone spatula can also be rinsed and cleansed with water.
My Take:
When I first tried it on my hand I couldn't believe how great the result is. I can immediately see how it makes a difference on the skin surface. Sure, you have to wait for a while until it fully absorbs.. but seeing the result, I think it is worth the wait ;)
It does it's job wonderfully well and it really stands out to the name. It's an instant retouching fluid and treatment in one product. Yes, it is also a treatment product! It says on their pamphlet that in 28 days it can brightens the skin and reduces fine lines (anti aging effect). You can see below how it worked on my skin:

You can click the photos above if you want to see the difference more clearly. If you look closely my hands looks younger and brighter with a smoother surface after I put on the Skin Retouch!
Overall, I love how all the visible pores and lines are magically erased. My skin surface is definitely smoother, brighter and looks younger and fresher, wow! Makeup application is way more easier with this smooth skin surface ;p I also love how it brightens the overall skin color and makes my makeup stays longer too. And it can be used for face, hands and neck.
You can use this before makeup or without makeup, but since it needs a little time to be fully absorbed so maybe it's best if you don't use it while you're in a hurry and needs to put on makeup quickly ;)
