Okay, so the story above was a bit exaggerating, but most of them are true ;) 
I do love Payless and kinda addicted to it because it's one of my most favorite store on earth! Their unique layout inside the store, and their mostly affordable prices with lots of trendy designs as well as classic ones - are all the reason why I am so in love with Payless.

I mean, we don't have that kind of store before, here in Jakarta. A shoe specialty store where the products are showcased by size. So when you go to the store, all you have to do is find the rack where they put the number of your shoe size. Example: rack for size 5 /36, rack for size 6 /37, etc.. How easy and convenient is that? So you don't have to ask the store assistant to find your size for you over and over again. It's very practical and I love practical things ;p

So when I was cleaning my shoe rack one day, I realized that I have collected 6 pairs of footwear from Payless. This consists of sandals, flats, and shoes. Here they are:

As you can see, I have accumulated several pairs.. 

I have 2 flip flops, 2 wedges, 1 flat shoes, and 1 ankle boots. All of them are very comfortable to wear and I can wear them all day without pain. Well except for the silver flat shoes (pic #1) because it's a bit small for me / wrong size.

As I said, their prices are mostly affordable and they have many range of styles to choose from. They also have regular sales and credit card promotions. And they just recently opened their new counter at Lippo Mall Kemang, so I guess that's the closest Payless store from my house. Well, either that one or the one on Lotte Mart Bintaro ;)

If you're one of my regular readers (thank you!) then you must have seen these Korres shower gel duo on several of my posts back because I keep featuring them.

And I keep featuring them because I like them so much :)

This is officially my first time trying on Korres products. Well actually, I got them last year but have been saving them up because I like them so much and I don't want to finish them so soon ;p

But then I started my "Empties" post, so I got new motivation to actually start finishing all my half-full or half-empty products that I've been saving. And so I finally picked these out from my product stacks and been using these as my main shower gels lately.

I got this shower gel duo from Strawberrynet. I googled beforehand and found out that Guava is one of Korres's most popular scent, so when I was browsing strawberrynet and found this duo, I clicked on the link and put it in my shopping cart immediately ^__^

This set is called "Tropical Fruit Shower Gel Duo", and it comes with a Guava little shower gel and Fig little shower gel.

Each tube is 50ml, and it is silicone-free, mineral-oil free, propylene-glycol-free, and ethanolamine-free.

I'm not familiar with the last two ingredients above but I know for sure that a silicone-free shower gel is better for your body.

Korres is a Greek pharmacist brand that combines nature with science to develop products that are skin-compatible, environmental friendly, effective, and joyful to use. That's what I've read from the shower gel tube ;p

I love these shower gels because they are natural and silicone-free. I also love the exclusive feel of these products and how moisturizing these shower gels are.

The Fig is more into the warmer note which is very relaxing and perfect to use if I was having sore muscles or feeling fatigue. It is uplifting and the scent would freshen me up and keeps me relaxed.

The Guava one is a lovely fruity scent. It does not smells exactly like guava fruit but it's just a very nice sweet fruity scent which is not too overwhelming and not too sweet either. It's hard to explain how the scents like, but generally it is a freshening and invigorating scent, perfect for daily use ;)

Overall, I recommend Korres shower gels. So far, I am liking both of these shower gels, especially the Guava one because the smell is just fantastic. No wonder that this is everyone's favorite scent ;)

I can't wait to try other Korres products..

Wardah is a relatively new Indonesian brand that is already popular with Indonesian women. One of their campaign is "Halal cosmetics". Ever since their first launch, Wardah has successfully created a hype with great reviews on their skincare as well as makeup range. Their price is on the affordable side, and they have a signature green-ish blue color packaging.

I haven't tried their makeup yet because I haven't been able to find a lipstick shade that I want in my nearest Wardah counter (at a supermarket nearby). I've been looking for their orange shade lipstick because I've heard that it's a complimenting coral color for tan skin, but I've been to my nearest Wardah counter a couple of times and haven't been able to found one yet.

So anyway, this review will be about their Moisturizer Gel and Facial Scrub. I actually owned these stuffs since several months ago but I've been switching my products lately so these don't get to be used that often until recently.

Wardah Facial Scrub is a daily face wash with light consistency.  It is a light scrub with PH balance so you can use it daily if you want.  

On the tube it says that the mild surfactants and scrubs will not stripped moisture from the skin. So far, this is true. My skin does not feel dry or tight whenever I use this facial scrub.

The texture is similar to a thick lotion but with tiny little green dots in it which is actually the scrub. The scrub itself is very mild, you won't feel any harshness at all. So if you're looking for facial scrubs with "real scrubbing" feeling, or if you prefer to "feel the scrubs" on your skin, then this is not for you.

The ingredients:

Having a mild formula means this facial scrub is safe enough and comfortable enough for daily usage. It won't break your skin because of the mild formula. 

I did feel some freshness on my face right after using it, and it leaves my skin feeling clean and moist too. So far, I like it and am still using it alternately with my other face scrubs. 

Now on to the next product:

Wardah Moisturizer Gel is a daily moisturizer for your face. It contains Pro Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E, as well as Chamomile Extract. 

On the tube it says: "for silky matte looking skin" - however it doesn't do very well for my oily combination skin. My face doesn't stay matte and it will be oily again in a few hours.

I also don't really fond of the texture which is kinda like a very thick colored gel that feels very wet on the skin, therefore I always have to wait for several extra minutes until the gel is fully absorbed by my skin before continuing with my makeup. And that is a hassle for me, because most of the time I'm always in a hurry when applying my makeup.

So this moisturizer is uncomfortable to wear during hot weather because I found it over-moisturizing for my combo skin. So my solution is to wear this for night cream as my skin tends to be drier at night because of the air conditioner in my room. 

The other way is to use this moisturizer in colder days like these rainy season we're having currently. Because in colder weather our skin tends to get less oily and prone to dryness. 

So far, I'm liking it as my moisturizer for colder days or colder temps. It's very moisturizing and I think this would be great for those who have dry skin or dry combination skin as well.

Overall, I think these two products have great quality compared to the cheap prices. All Wardah products are mostly affordable, and they are easy to get. You can find them in supermarket racks or beauty counter at the mall. They also have various range and products to choose from. 

I'm still curious with the orange shade lipstick and other Wardah products as well. Some of the beauty bloggers raved about their body scrubs but I haven't tried that yet because in the mean time I still have many body scrubs on my vanity. Maybe the next time I'll go to supermarket I'll try something else from Wardah ;)

The cute and girly all-pink packaging is the signature look of the Etude House Dress Room range. Etude House is one of the most famous Korean brand. The range itself consists of several bath and body care products such as Body Wash, Body Lotion, Shower Cologne,... all in the cutest super girly princess-y pink bottles! Super adorable, I must say :)

I have a set of the Dress Room Sweet Look Body Lotion and Body Wash in travel sizes (30ml). The travel size products are as cute as the full size products. No, wait.. the full size products are even more cuter! You can actually display the full size bottles proudly in your vanity because they look very princess-y, like something that Marie Antoinette would have in her own vanity :D

First of all, just like I've mentioned before in one of my previous post HERE, I'd like to make a note that this range smells exactly like Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction body mist (the new version, not the old version). This is the exact dupe! So if you like VS Pure Seduction then you would probably love Etude House Dress Room range too.

Me, on the other hand, is not really a fan of the new version of Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction. I prefer the old version better, where they added cassaba melon to the mix. So this Etude House Dress Room range is not really up my alley, scent-wise.

I do love the packaging though.. And I still use them as my travel bath and body care, which I bring along when I'm traveling. But as you know, scents are very individual thing. So what I don't like doesn't mean that you won't like it too. If you love super girly / very sweet scent then I recommend this line for you. But if you're anything like me, then you will find that the scent is way too sweet for you. The scent is more towards a very sweet floral scent, so if that's your thing then go ahead and grab these beauties ^__^

Now, as the formula and texture itself, both are great for everyday use. The body wash formula is the same as any other body wash, it's clear and watery, and foams up nicely:

The lotion has a thick and a bit creamy formula so it glides on easily on the skin without being greasy. The lotion would also be fully absorbed by the skin in a few minutes and would leave the skin moist and smooth.

Unlike some other body lotions, the scent is not too strong or intoxicating when you put the products freshly out of the tube. The scent would also linger for a little while, leaving a faint trail behind:

Overall, I love Etude House Dress Room Sweet Look range because of the texture, formula, and of course, the super cute princess-like packaging worthy of a praise ^__^

Although the scent is not my preference but I still use it because I don't have any other reasons not to use it. It actually smells good, towards the sweet and girly, but it's just not my cup of tea.

So I might not get the full size bottles because of the scent, but I do recommend these pretty stuffs to all of you who does love super sweet girly scents ;)

Although I've heard of Sampar before but I haven't tried any Sampar products because they are on the expensive side, so when I received these samples from Sampar I was excited to try them out.

This product is to be used after moisturizer and before applying a powder/liquid foundation. You should wait until it's fully absorbed by your skin before adding any foundation though.. According to the booklet you could also apply this product at any time of the day over makeup.

I received a few sample tubes of this product and has been using it a couple of times. I love the pink/white packaging, and the texture of the product itself is a creamy lotion that goes on clear and will be fully absorbed by the skin.

I've tried using a BB Cream after applying this product but somehow the BB cream won't stick to my skin resulting in ugly patches, so I guess this is not suitable to be used with BB creams.

I did tried putting on some loose powder and/or finishing powder on top of this product and the result is excellent. My face has smoother and brighter complexion without any of the heavy duty makeup base. I love it. You can see it from the photos below:

On the "After" photo I didn't wear anything except for moisturizer + Glamour Shot.

With full makeup:

 I only wear moisturizer + Glamour Shot + Loose Powder as a base, 

and look how smooth looking the skin is ;)

Another brilliant product from the Glamour Shot range is the Glamour Shot Eyes.
Within 1 minute it can instantly erase dark circles, blurs under eye wrinkles and fine lines, and brightens the dark area around the eyes, all the while providing a long lasting anti wrinkle action.

According to the booklet, 77% of users agreed that dark circles were reduced immediately after application. And I can say that I also agree with those users ;)

I got the sample size and the mini tube has a doe foot applicator that makes it easier to use. You just apply the product with this applicator right underneath the eyes. You put this as an under-eye concealer (after moisturizer).

You can also see the texture from the photo below, it will be totally absorbed by your skin in one minute:

 

I have insomnia so at most time I can only sleep at dawn. Therefore it always creates puffy eyes and dark circles underneath my eyes everytime I wake up. I was pessimistic at first, because I've tried lots of products to reduce puffy eyes and dark circles but still haven't found one that can really stands out. But after trying the Glamour Shot Eyes for the first time, I was totally hooked.

Just remember that you should wait 5 minutes after application before putting on makeup. The end results are pretty great.

Although it can't fully erase my heavy puffy eyes, but it can totally reduce it. My dark circles also reduced heavily thanks to this product. You can see it from the pictures below how the Glamour Shot Eyes works on my flaws:

In the "Before" photo you can see that I have huge swollen eyes on my right eye and a deep dark circles on my left eye.

I hope you can see that my heavy puffed right eye is noticeably less swollen, and that the deep dark circles underneath my left eye is gone :)

Overall, I am satisfied with the Glamour Shot range and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try it. It does gives instant results without all the hassle, and it also gives benefits for the skin if used continuously.

How cute is that thing? ^o^

I got this Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub from my SASA purchase the other day. I was in need of a lip scrub because my lips are starting to get chapped during the cold rainy season, and after some online store browsing my options was either this Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub or the Korres Lemon Lip Scrub. 

Being a hardcore packaging-whore I of course chose the Tony Moly one just because it has a cute lippie shape ;p

Tony Moly is a Korean brand and their packaging are mostly unique and cute, just like this lip scrub. How appropriate is it, a lip scrub inside a tiny lip-shaped container? This alone looks so cute on my bathroom vanity, very eye-catching.

According to SASA website, this Kiss Kiss lip scrub is formulated with natural botanical ingredients. It removes dead skin cells without irritating the lips. It also contains Argan Oil to soften and hydrate the lips.

The packaging is tiny but I only use a small portion of the scrub every time I scrub my lips, which is pretty much adequate. So I think this would last me a couple of months. I used this 1-2 times a week or whenever my lips needed some tlc. 

When you open the cap / top portion of the packaging, you will find another cap inside that secured the products, so I guess this is pretty safe for traveling because it won't spill.

The texture of the scrub is medium thick paste that has a light consistency. You can see that there are lots of tiny granules in the product that are meant to scrub our lips. This doesn't feel harsh at all, you almost can't feel the granules scrubbing your lips. The formula is also almost tasteless so if some of the scrubs accidentally get in your mouth, you won't taste anything weird. So that's a plus for me.

I used it by gently massaging it on my lips with circular motion for 1-2 minutes, and then I rinse it with lukewarm water. The application process is super easy and without a mess.

The result is a smoother lips surface that makes my lipstick applied smoothly on my lips. It also help eliminates the chapped lips situation that I previously had.

Overall, I like this product and would probably buy it again if I ran out of this one.
