December Favorites
1:30:00 AM
If you follow my blog you might have known about these Monthly Favorites posts that I did every month.
I tried to rotate my products frequently so that no products left un-used. And in order to reduce the amount of products that I have, I'm starting a "Products I Finished / Empties" post series too, so that it would help motivates me to use all the products that are left unfinished in my stock pile.
It did helped me a lot and whenever I finished a bottle or a jar of product that has been sitting long on my vanity I got sooo excited, it's a great satisfying feeling ;p
Anyway, here are the products that I mostly used during last month..

In no particular order:
Bodycology Fresh Water Body Cream
Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup in Medium Beige
Maybelline the Falsies Mascara
Artistry Brow Definer in Dark Brown
Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in #01 Apricot
Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for lids, lashes, and lips
Bodycology Fresh Water Body Cream
Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup in Medium Beige
Maybelline the Falsies Mascara
Artistry Brow Definer in Dark Brown
Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in #01 Apricot
Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for lids, lashes, and lips
As usual, I tried to mixed products that I use daily. Amongst my favorites above, there are some new products that I bought recently as well as some of my oldie but goodies..
One of the oldie but goodie on the photo above is my trusted Artistry Brow Definer. It has been in my makeup stash since I first got it from the Artistry launching event back in the old days, and I still love it ;)
I just recently bought the Clinique Superbalm and Take The Day Off Makeup Remover. I love trying on different makeup removers because there are many variations of them in the market and I love trying new things... The same goes with lip gloss because I simply love lip glosses ;)

Bodycology Fresh Waters Body Cream
I found Bodycology at the Ranch Market but there weren't many options on the scents. I actually wanted to buy another scent but then hubby came and decided that I should get this one instead because he liked this one the most. Well, since it was his treat so I went with his choice ;p
But don't get me wrong, I do like the subtle scent of this Fresh Waters body cream too. It's like a "clean" scent, so subtle and delicate. I usually won't go for subtle scents like this because I like mine either fruity floral or woodsy and musky. But this is a very nice exception. This kind of scent is great for layering with perfumes. Although this is a body cream but the texture is more lotion-y than cream-y. I love using this because it re-hydrates my skin and perfect for layering with other scents. I love the packaging too ;)

Revlon Photoready Airbrush Mousse Makeup
in #050 Medium Beige
As I've stated many times in this blog, I love love love Revlon Photoready line. I've tried several items from that line and love every single of it. This foundation is no exception. It has a unique mousse texture that we pumped out of the nozzle. It gives out a flawless smooth finish to my skin and it lasts all day too without me feeling greasy or oily. It also feels light to my skin so I didn't feel it clogging my pores, and I never experienced breakouts or anything, but I do make sure to clean my face thoroughly after using this though..
Overall, I'm very satisfied and this is my current daily foundie ;)

Artistry Brow Define in Dark Brown
I've had this since a long time ago and has been using it alternately with my VIVA eyebrow pencil (which is basically the #1 eyebrow pencil for most Indonesian women, LOL). Eyebrow pencil took me a long time to finish, I still hasn't finish this one yet.
This is an eyebrow definer in the shape of an automatic pencil. I love it simply because I don't have to sharpen the tip whenever I want to use it, and I also like the color of it, because finding the right shade for your eyebrows is hard. You want it to look natural not overdone or looks like someone painted your eyebrows. I also love the formula because it doesn't look too strong when applied, instead it looks natural and people might think that it's your original eyebrows ;p
In the end, I'm choosing this over my VIVA eyebrow pencil because this simply exceed the VIVA one ;p

Maybelline the Falsies Volum Express Waterproof Mascara
I love Maybelline mascaras (who doesn't?), and I love their Volum Express series. My most favorite among the Volum Express series is the Turbo Boost one (the one in black tube), but this one came close in second. I love how it gives out a nice flare to my eyelashes, it really opens up my eyes and gives out a lengthening effect too. Plus it's waterproof!
My eyelashes would curl easily with this mascara, simply the best. If you haven't tried it yet, then try it now ;p

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover
Ever since I got my hands on this one, I have been practically bringing this everywhere. I love how easy it melts my most stubborn mascara, and I also love how it wiped off my eyeshadows and lipstick stains on my lips. Removing eye makeup never been easier ... So far, the best eye makeup remover I've tried. It is now half empty but I will be sure to get a new one in the future ;)
Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss
in Apricot
I love lip balms and I love lip glosses too, and this is what I bring everyday during December and up until today. I love that it's not only a lipgloss to add shine and a little bit of color, but it is also a moisturizing balm. So you'll get a healthy shiny lips with only one product. Oh how I love 2 in 1 products like this ;)
I also love the color on this Apricot one, it goes on semi sheer to my lips, just enough to give it a healthy shine far from dull colored lips. It's also not sticky unlike most lip glosses, and I can use this as tinted balm or layer it on top of lipsticks. Both applications would turns out great :)
