What I Wore on New Year's Eve
2:53:00 AM
Incase you haven't read my "what's in my travel skincare/toiletries bag" post that I posted a few days ago, I wrote that I spent my New Year's Eve with my family. We were staying at a hotel in downtown Jakarta and although there was a special NYE event at the hotel, only my parents in law who went to the event. Me and hubby spent the night by having dinner outside the hotel with my sister in law's family, and then got back to our hotel room to watch the spectacle of NYE fireworks from our hotel room's window.
It was such a pretty sight, it was really different watching the fireworks show from above ( I usually watched it from the ground ). We had a big floor-to-ceiling window in the room so I opened the curtain and pulled some sofas right in front of the window so it was like we're watching a big screen TV full of fireworks shows!
It was such an amazing night...
So anyway, since it was a very laid back family weekend occasion I didn't bring any fancy dresses or intricate outfits. I want to just enjoy my weekend with my family, and I want to just lounge around and enjoying the hotel amenities, you know...

I spent 2 days 1 night at the hotel and here's what I wore during my New Year's stay:
Day 1.
Noon.
Noon.
This is what I wore the day we all went together to the hotel. Don't expect anything fancy because as I told you above, this is just a very casual laid back weekend for me. So I apologize in advance if my outfits bores you ;p
My activities during the day were having lunch and then accompanied hubby to have his haircut at the hotel's hair salon, and then lounging around in the coffee shop.
Orange Tee: MANGO // Orange Sandals: PAYLESS
Jeans: LEA // Wallet: GUESS

Day 1.
Night.
When the night falls and the new year's celebration is getting closer, I changed my clothes to a more polished look so that at least I won't look like a sloppy girl ;p

We went outside the hotel to have dinner and then went back to our hotel room to watch dvd while waiting for the fireworks to start.

Day 2.
We got up early to have breakfast, and then lounged around in our hotel room while waiting for our check out time. We had plans to go swimming but the weather wasn't promising so we canceled it.
By the way, I am basically in love with this new sweatshirt from Victoria's Secret that I just bought a few days earlier. Actually, I'm kinda obsessed with it ;p

This season I am into buying more sweaters / sweatshirts / cardigans / jackets, all of those things for colder weather..
Maybe because we're getting into rainy season here again which means colder temperatures, and I need to pile up some warmer clothes to survive == because I tend to shivers easily in cold temperatures, so I need to be warm all the time ==
Maybe I'll show you my warm clothes pile sometimes ;p
It's still a little pile now, but if you saw my last fashion haul you'll see that I'm starting to build a collection of cold weather clothes ;)

Have you been piling on cold weather clothes too? Where did you spent your new year's eve?
Cheers,
