There are a lot of beauty brand out there that I would like to know more of, and one of them is Shu Uemura. I'm sure you've heard of the brand Shu Uemura before, or if you don't then you can keep on reading this post ;)
Shu Uemura is named after its founder, a legendary Japanese make-up
artist Mr. Shu Uemura who begins working as a makeup artist for Hollywood films since 1955. He has been in the makeup industry for over 50 years now.
The philosophy of Shu Uemura is:
"Beautiful make-up starts and ends with beautiful skin"
Being a breakthrough genius, Shu Uemura made history by introducing the first oil-based cleanser in Japan which is called the Unmask Cleansing Oil.
It is an oil-based cleanser that he first used for film stars and makeup artists on the set. The cleansing oil then quickly became popular for it's exceptional reputation and now has become a signature product of the Shu Uemura brand!

If you consider yourself a beauty junkie then you must have heard (or even have tried) a cleansing oil.
A cleansing oil is one of the best option for removing our makeup especially the stubborn makeup such as waterproof mascaras, thick layers of makeup, etc..
It has the ability to dissolves and cleans makeup by emulsification process, it also lifts up impurities such as dirt and sweat from the skin's pores thus cleaning the skin more effectively.
One of the best cleansing oil in the market is (without a doubt) the ones from Shu Uemura.
A Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil is a gentle yet effective cleanser that can quickly dissolve make up and get rids of sweat and dirt from the pores without disrupting the skin's natural balance.
It also has the ability to nurture your skin every time you clean your makeup with it. So it actually has a benefit of a skin treatment as well as a great makeup remover!

As you can see above Shu Uemura has different variations of cleansing oils, so whatever your skin needs you can choose which cleansing oils that best suits you.
If you have oily skin and you're doubtful whether an oil-based cleanser would be suitable for your "already oily" skin then don't worry, because it does work for oily skin and it would not make your skin more oily or left any oily residue at all. (more on this later as I will give a proper review on this cleansing oil on another post).
Why should we choose cleansing oil as a makeup remover & cleanser?
- It has the ability to lift makeup as well as dirt and sweats from the pores
- Doesn't make skin dry and doesn't leave residue on the skin
- It's a one-step-cleansing-system >> Very practical!
- It helps nurture the skin in every cleansing process
- It's suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin
Shu Uemura cleansing oil is based on natural ingredients such as green tea extracts, gingko, cherry, and prune extracts to help eliminate various skin problems as well as a treatment for the skin.
