MARCH Favorites
8:30:00 PMSuper late!
Again!
I know.
Don't judge.
Apparently I lost count on dates and the days seems to just flown by, I don't even realize that it's already mid month! So this is another super duper late post (what else is new?) which I supposed to post every start of the month. Let's go straight to it..
My last month's (March) favorites:
So here are the things that I used most often during last month. Some of them are old things that has been living in my drawer for quite a long time, and some of them are quite new to my stash.
From back row to front, starting from the left side:
L'occitane Verbena Shampoo + Conditioner
Too Faced Beauty Insurance Kit
MAC SuperGlass in Totally Bang!
Sariayu Mangir Soap
BCBGirls Mini Perfume vials set
MUA F6 Blusher/Contouring Brush
MUA E7 Eyebrow/eyeliner Brush
I'm gonna make this post short because it is in the middle of the night now and I am so tired and wants to go to bed early, so here is a short description of the products listed above, as well as a very mini reviews on each of it ;p
L'occitane Verbena Shampoo + Conditioner
This is my favorite travel shampoo + conditioner nowadays. I frequently had a stay-over at my in law's almost every weekend so I always bring my travel size products with me. And this set is my newest favorite to bring! If you read my previous post you can see that I also brought this to my stay at the Aston Marina Hotel at Ancol bay a while ago.
This is my first time trying on L'occitane shampoo/conditioner and I fell in love with it on the very first use! I love the scent, I love the formula, and I love how it makes my hair falls nicely. It also didn't make my hair limp like most regular shampoos, so I love this a lot and thinking of buying the full size.
Too Faced Beauty Insurance Kit
I also brought this to my Aston Marina Hotel stay but I ended up didn't use it. I found this lurking on the back of my drawer and decided to let it out so that I can use it again. That's why I've been using this set again now.
This set include: Primed & Poreless Face Primer, Lip Insurance Primer, and Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer. I love all the three primers but my most favorite is the lip primer. I never used a lip primer before and when I used this it really gives out great result. My lipstick glides on easily and it also makes lip color stays put, as well as making the color more pronounced. I love it!
BCBGirls by Max Azria mini perfume vials set (Eau De Toilette)
I got this from my mother in law. Please pardon the dirty marks on the front side, I couldn't make it go away even though I've scrubbed it so hard. I also just recently found this again on a corner of my vanity so I decided to use this up by wearing it daily. There are four perfume vials in this set which are: Nature, Star, Metro, and Sexy. My most favorite among the four is Star which to me smells elegant and sensual.
To me, Metro is a little bit more sporty and casual, while Sexy is more like a deeply scent with sweet notes (i hope you get what I mean), and Nature is more of a fresh scent. I basically use all four vials but I like Star the most.
MAC SuperGlass Lip Gloss in Totally Bang!
I like wearing lip glosses and because I own many of them so I wore them alternatively. These days I seem to always reach out for this one. I love MAC lip glosses because they always gives shiny lips without being over-shiny. This SuperGlass gives out a gorgeous sheen to the lips and this can be worn alone or over lipstick. I personally love to wear lip gloss over lipstick because lip gloss alone wouldn't show in my dark lips ;p
This Totally Bang! is a pink-ish fuchsia in the tube but when worn it is more sheer and looks like a soft reddish pink on me ;)
Sariayu Mangir Soap
This is what I am using on my bathroom right now. Sariayu is a popular Indonesian brand which has many years of expertise in the beauty region. This mangir soap is part of their Sariayu Beauty Spa range which I reviewed here (in Indonesian language). This Mangir soap is infused with ylang-ylang and turmeric to make skin glows naturally. The mix of traditional herbs and flower extracts in this soap can make your skin feels clean, soft and looks brighter.
So far, I really love the texture and the scent. It smells very nice and so relaxing to me, it also didn't leave any residue and I also didn't feel any dryness afterward. So this is a great soap and I'm sure I would buy this again in the future ;)
MUA Blusher & Contouring Brush (F6)
&
MUA Eyebrow/Eyeliner Brush (E7)
I got these brushes (as well as other brushes) from the MUA big sale a while ago. Of all the brushes I purchased from MUA these two are my most favorites and I've been using them on almost all of my makeup. First of all, I love how big and fluffy the F6 (blush) brush is. It's perfect to apply an all-over blush color to your cheek. The slightly tapered shape also makes it perfect to apply bronzer right below your cheek bone.
I also love the E7 brush because the tapered shape makes it perfect to apply eyeshadow as eyeliner. You can also use this as a brow brush but I have my other brow brush so I only use this brush to apply powder eyeliner. Both brushes comes in great quality and can really pick up colors from the pan. I love them.
That's it for my March Favorites. What are your current favorites?
