Hello there, do you know that there's a new magazine in town?

I received an email about this magazine a while ago. This is an Australian beauty magazine called "Heart Beauty" magazine which just officially launched nationwide in Australia and also internationally.

I received the Fall 2013 a.k.a the Launch issue. So this is the very first issue of Heart Beauty magazine! The magazine has a super glossy effect on the cover, and I love the overall look of the cover too. I also really like the makeup worn by the model.

On the cover is a Sydneysider turned globetrotting supermodel Sarah Stephens. She is so beautiful on the cover, her expression suits the makeup's character very well. The makeup artist is Rae Morris and Michael Wolff, and the photographer is Katie Nolan. I love that red color on her eyes and lips!

The magazine itself is a smaller size magazine, so it's lighter and easier to carry instead of those bigger magazine size. I kinda love these smaller sizes magazine because I can put it inside my bag so it's perfect for traveling or while commuting.

Although the size is small but it is packed with lots of interesting beauty articles and high resolution photos, all of them wonderfully spread in glossy magazine pages. Oh how I love glossy magazines :)

The photos inside are all gorgeous and totally captivating. I love how they popped out the photos like the one above. That's one photo spread in two pages, sooo freakin' big and fabulous. I love it.

I love magazines ever since I was in elementary school. I used to subscribe to a few magazines up until I graduated high school. And from then on, I regularly buy different magazines every month, especially fashion & beauty magazines. I just love holding them, reading the articles, seeing the glossy photos and pictures inside it, and absorbing all the information inside it.

So when I hold this magazine in my hand and browse around the pages I felt like I found my old love with magazines ;p 

I just love how glossy it is.

Flipping the pages of the magazine, Heart Beauty offers many interesting articles and features inside it, such as: Industry Secrets, Fashion News, Beauty features, etc.

I found some interesting articles there such as: "Best of Brush" which listed some of the best brushes out there. I also love the "Showpieces" which features beautiful piece of jewelries. Or the article about "Active Foundations" or the "Make Up Artist Icons" interview, or the "Penny Lane" or "Black Magic" spreads.

There's also a special section called "We Love Bloggers" which is more like blogger of the month. In this very first issue they feature the gorgeous Lisa O of Lysana Fashion Obsessed blog who spills her handbag's secrets, letting us know what products she carries on her handbag.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this magazine and I find myself browsing the glossy pages over and over again just to enjoy the great photography inside it.  I always appreciate great photographs and I consider these photographs a high quality ones.
