OOTD - featuring: DOROTHY PERKINS part 2

So if you saw my yesterday's post you'll see that I received a couple of items from Dorothy Perkins as above.

As you can see on the above picture, I got myself three items which are: Ivory tassel crossbody bag, Leopard square toe pumps, and Navy scoop tee. I have reviewed the bag and the flat pumps on yesterday's post, and as I promised you here is how I wore the navy scoop tee:
As I told you on yesterday's post, I got this scoop neck tee because I still had a few pounds/dollars left on my voucher so I snatched this scoop neck tee which is one of the cheapest item on the website.
It costs IDR 79.000 (around $7.9), I think it is currently not on promo anymore on the website, but there are still other colors available on that price. And if you want this navy one, it now costs IDR 99.000 ($9.9) and there's a promo of "Buy 2 for IDR 179.000".
This is a basic jersey tee and I've been wanting to have a number of plain tees in different colors to add to my collection. It was my hubby who suggested me to get the navy one because he said I looked good in navy ;p Well I'm not so sure about that because I usually would steer clear of navy and maroon because I believe that they do not correspond well to my skintone. But hey, I might be wrong ;p
So since I didn't have any navy plain tee yet on my wardrobe I agreed to take the navy one instead of the other colors available at the website. And here is one of the many ways I have styled it:

I paired it with my navy checkered skirt and a long Eiffel necklace. I tucked the tee inside the skirt and added a wide belt to gain a sleek look. If I want to look more casual or laid back I would wear this tshirt un-tucked, with a jeans or shorts.
I haven't worn the bag for a super long time, but I was cleaning my closet the other day in the middle of our moving out process, and I found this bag lurking around. So I thought I'm gonna wear it again because the condition is still great despite the actual old age of this bag, LOL. >>> it is so freakin' old <<<
The jersey fabric of the tshirt really feels comfortable and it allows me to stay cool even under the humid weather. I always love jersey fabric (and bamboo fabric too!), I think it's the most comfortable fabric to wear in a hot humid weather like Jakarta ;p
I've been wearing this tee for several times already and have styled it in different ways. I combined it with jeans, with a denim skirt, with cotton shorts, or even with dresses as inner-wear. A basic plain tee is pretty much very versatile, because you can basically pair them with almost anything ;p
