I always got excited to see what the Lolabox would look like everytime the courier man delivered my box. The outer box is the same, with Lola's signature logo which is an orange round logo with the word "Lola" in the middle. But the actual Lolabox inside is different every month. This month we have our independence day, so for August Lolabox came out with a red box with a simple white Lola logo in the middle (to represent our red & white national flag).

I love collecting the boxes from Lola because they usually have cute designs that changes every month, and the most important part is it's reusable! The size of the box is just right to store my little items. 

I love the color red so I am pretty excited with this box. I think the design this time is simpler than the previous lola boxes so I am kinda missing the unique and creative side of the boxes a bit, but overall I still love this box because of the color and of course, the function ;)

As usual, when I opened it I found the Lola card with some notes and a list of products included. I always try not to look at the list before I opened the wrap to see what's inside because I don't want to ruin the surprise. 

That's what I like about these beauty box subscription service, some people might not like it because they don't know what they spend their money on, but to me personally I like the element of surprise ;) I love receiving boxes that I don't know what's inside, and then excitedly open the box to find brands and products that most of the time I haven't tried before. It's just like opening presents and gifts ^o^

This month's theme is Brave & Bold (to commemorate our brave and bold national heroes). On the note card they also asked what Brave & Bold means to you. I think it's a very interesting question. Here's what's inside this month's Lola Box:

There are quite a handful of products from different brands inside with the addition of an extra item which is the mini hair brush + hand mirror set. I'm actually not too excited for the extra item this time, I do think they are quite useful for on-the-go activities but I'm just not that type of girl who likes to bring a hair brush so it is just my personal opinion. I do read on other blog that they love the extra hair brush and mirror, but it's just not my cup of tea. I much prefer the hair velcro that they gave us last month.

I love the variety of brands and products that they include this month. There are brands that I have already heard but never tried before such as Paula's Choice and Skin Junkie, so I am most excited to try that out because I've been curious with those brands.

They also mix local Indonesian brand with international brands which I also like, that way I can try all different brands and products (which is my first interest with these beauty boxes subscriptions - to be able to try different brands and products).

Another thing to note, in this box there is also a travel size Orlane Lip-Reducing lip care which I actually already got from their first Lolabox, so this is my first product repeat. But I'm not complaining since I can always use it as extra spare, but I would prefer other product that I never received before.

The real size product in this box is the Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Silk Face Powder which retails for IDR 85000 itself. The rest of the products are travel size and sample size products with several sachet samples. I am excited to try out the Paula Choice set of 3 samples, even though it's only sachet samples but it is a shampoo / conditioner / makeup remover sample which we can actually use for travelling, so these kind of sachets are great to have around.

I'm also excited for the Skin Junkie soap bar as this is an Indonesian brand which I haven't tried before, and you know my love for natural soaps like this, right? I noticed that everyone got random soaps from Skin Junkie, but I don't know which variant is mine because there's no name or information included, but it smells like a traditional spicy scent.
