On September I only subscribed to one beauty box which is the Black Box from Beauty Treats. After being absent and temporarily closed on August, Beauty Treats starts sending boxes again on September for their much-hyped new box called the Black Box.
I'm not sure why they seems to always change their concept every once in a while. They started from one box that costs IDR 95000 when they first launched - which is kinda awesome because they're the only one who priced their box below IDR 100.000 back then. And then not long after that, they changed their concept by offering two kind of beauty boxes, adding another box option called the Platinum Box with a more expensive price which they said would offer a more premium brands. And then right after that, they changed their concept again back into one box with a slight different theme, and this box is called the Black Box (the one that I'm ordering now) which costs IDR 125000.
So this is basically a new box (again) from their service and I was curious to see the difference compared to older Beauty Treats boxes, and that's why I ordered this box. If you're curious too, let's see this Black Box now, shall we?
As you can see above, the box is black (hence the name, the Black Box). So I guess maybe from now on they would have this black box every month and would not have different box designs every month like the usual.
They once had a white box and also a pink box but I do prefer this black box instead. I think the black box design that comes with a purple bow and purple wrap inside looks sleek and elegant. The last picture above is what I saw when I first opened the box and the purple wrap. That's the original arrangement which makes me curious further more..
Also different from their previous boxes, this time they also include a free Cita Cinta magazine as extra. I love magazines so I won't mind free magazine extra like this one ;)

Now, let's see what's inside the box this time...
The box feels light so I wasn't expecting a lot of big sample size tubs inside it. And before I break down about all the products that I got inside my box, I would like to note that compared to the previous box I think this box is better ;)
This time I actually got three full size items inside (but one of them have to be redeemed at the store). I also like this box because there's a beauty brand that I love and been wanting to collect, and most of the items included are actually products that I would use myself. Let's take a look....
After some thoughts, I think I actually like this box. I get to sample one of my favorite brand, Crabtree & Evelyn, in scents that I've been curious with. I love Crabtree & Evelyn especially because their packaging is always pretty. I also love the Sleek Kohl Pencil that has glittery sparkles in it (because I use eyeliners all the time). And the Koji Konjac Sponge is really nice as a back-up because I like using Konjac Sponges.
The 3 full size products that I got are the Sleek Kohl Pencil, the Koji Konjac Sponge, and also a box of Freshkon Mosaic Eye Contact Lense which I have to redeem first at the OptikSeis store.
The FreshKon Mosaic Contact Lens itself is worth IDR 185000 so that alone already surpassed the box's price which is IDR 135000. The Sleek Kohl Pencil is IDR 75000 and the Koji Konjac Sponge is IDR 39900 - 49900. So this box definitely worth a lot more than what I paid for.
