Hi beautiful creatures..

I'm sorry for not updating the blog for the last several days, that's because I was sick and don't have the energy to do anything. But now I'm already in recovery and hopefully my health would get back to my usual tip top condition soon. 

Luckily I already took these photos below before I got sick, and back on the day when I started feeling unwell I immediately wrote a draft post because I knew my health was declining and I wouldn't be able to blog when I'm sick. So now I'm glad I already have these photos on the blogger draft, and all I have to do today is just edit it a little bit and click "publish" ^o^

So as you might have known, this month's IBB Make Up Challenge's theme is "Runway Colors" - where the inspirations are taken from runway models makeup.

Okay, so those runway models usually have a variety of makeup put on by the stylists backstage, but one thing for sure: they love playing with different colors. So based on that "different colors" theme, here are several looks that I made as a guide for the IBB MUC September 2013 ;)

For these looks I'm using the new (and most coveted) Color Tattoos from Maybelline, as well as the "Pop" Hyperglossy Liquid Liner, the Clear Smooth BB Silk Cake Powder, the Cheeky Glow Blush-On, and the new Baby Lips Color from Maybelline. I've heard so many amazing things about these Maybelline Color Tattoos 24hr Eyeshadows before, and after using these beauties for several times I do really fell in love with them. I have them in #25 Bad To The Bronze and #40 Tenacious Teal. The color pay-off is amazing, the finish is smooth and frosty, and the color lasts super long! 

Here are some swatches of the Color Tattoos. The teal one is a little bit chalkier than the bronze one but both of them have gorgeous color pay-off and the formula is also great with a long-lasting bright colors:

I was also curious with the new Maybelline BabyLips Color because I love the original BabyLips. These new BabyLips Color Lipbalms have all those great things of the original BabyLips but with an added extra bonus of color! Yup, tinted lip balm is now a favorite of mine ;)

I also love the Maybelline Pop Hyperglossy Liquid Liner because just like the name suggests, the color really pops out. I have the Tangerine Orange and the color is a bright orange and looks really fun. Perfect if you love experimenting with makeup or for those fun festive events. The Cheeky Glow is also pretty great, The color runs smoothly on the cheeks and mine is in Peachy Sweetie which is kind of a pinkish color which gives a subtle but healthy glow to the cheeks.

Last but not least, the Clear Smooth BB Silk Cake Powder which has an SPF 21++ and a pore-smoothing properties. This has medium coverage and is great to wear alone or as a finishing powder after using a BB  cream such as the Maybelline BB Stick. 

Now, on to the looks..

I actually made 3 different looks here because models have to display different kinds of clothes and style on the runway, right? So here I made 3 looks that is different from one another, representing the different styles that models have to wear on the runway.

1. My first look is: Summer in Teal.

Here I'm using the teal Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow and the orange Pop Hyperglossy Liquid Eyeliner on the eyes + Maybelline BabyLips Lipbalm in Cherry Kiss. This is a fun look for a day out with the girls, or for attending fun parties. Because the eyes are the main point of attention so it's better to leave the lips in a more subtle softer color, that way the colors won't compete each other ;p

I think teal is a very fresh color and it surprisingly looks pretty and fun when combined with a little bit of orange. The rest of the colors on my face are subtly neutral such as the pink-ish Cheeky Glow in Peachy Sweetie and the fresh "my-lips-but-better" BabyLips Color in Cherry Kiss.

In this second look I'm going for a bronzed-eyes look with the gorgeous bronze color of the Maybelline Color Tattoo in #25 Bad To The Bronze which I applied all over my lid and then added a black Maybelline HyperGlossy Liquid Liner + Maybelline BabyLips Color in Berry Crush. This look is a sophisticated look, perfect for a formal event or for the office.

I really love the bronze color of this Color Tattoo eyeshadow as much as I love the Teal color above. I think this bronze eyeshadow is a must-have because it can be worn daily and would also be great for a sophisticated night look. A gorgeous satiny bronze shade with a frosty finish which I'm sure would be worn a lot. This time I combined it with the BabyLips Color in Berry Crush which have a pinkish red shade compared to Cherry Kiss which has a reddish hue with an orange tint to it.

I mixed the bronze and the teal Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in this look which creates a gorgeous layer of colors. I also mixed the Cherry Kiss BabyLips Color Lipbalm with the Berry Crush one, and ended up with a more vibrant color and double moisture on my lips ;)

The combination of the two colors is really fresh and perfect for spring. Looking at the pictures I should've add more layers of blush-on to make this look more fresh and fun, but overall I really love this look and the combination of the colors used on my face.

So those are my 3 looks for the make up challenge guide, if you decide to join the make up challenge you only have to submit one best photo of yourself so you don't have to make many looks like I did here. 

You also don't have to use all Maybelline products but if you do use it then it should count as extra points. Aside from the new things that Maybelline sent me, I also happen to have a lot of Maybelline products on my vanity, so I thought why not use all Maybelline products this time? ;p
