OOTD Featuring Dorothy Perkins

Dorothy Perkins is one of my favorite fashion brand. I always love coming to their store (the nearest to me is the one at Pondok Indah Mall), because they usually would have pretty blouses and dresses that I can't stop drooling at.
Basically I love almost all of their items but especially their dresses, sweaters and bags. Their dresses have several different styles but mostly towards feminine with a touch of elegance. This dress below is one of my favorite dress from their newest Fall 2013 selection:
This is the Blush Embellished 2in1 Dress from Dorothy Perkins. I got the name of the dress from their website. This dress is a bodice dress with a blush color on top and black pencil skirt. When worn it looks like a 2 pieces suit but in fact it's just a dress. It also has a beautiful embellishment at the neckline which I adore so much.

When it first came to my house I really love the beautiful adornments on the neckline and also the fitted shape of the dress which actually accentuate the body shape. I also love the blush color and the design on the back that has a little slit that creates a small "peek-a-boo" hole down the middle ^o^
Dorothy Perkins is one of my favorite fashion brand simply because their style is kinda my style too ;) Their collection are usually more into girly and feminine style that
looks elegant at the same time, but sometimes they also infused a little
bit of bohemian or edgy chic touch with studs and metal applications
into their designs. I also love the prints that they feature on their
designs.

FYI, if you're petite like me, Dorothy Perkins is the brand that carries
dresses that are suitable for our body types. This dress I'm wearing is
in size 6 which is the smallest size they have.
In case you didn't know it yet, UK size 6 is equivalent to
US size 0 / 2 (Xtra-Small to Small).
To me, this dress fits perfectly and didn't feel
loose at all. The shape and design of the dress also suitable for petite
body types, just make sure you wear the right shoes with it. Here I
paired it with a pump shoes with similar nude/blush shade which makes me
look taller and leaner ;p

This is definitely one of my most favorite dress right now. It's perfect for semi-formal to formal occasions such as big events or wedding receptions.
