[ Perfume ] : AIGNER Debut edp

Currently I am venturing into the perfume world because the different types of scents really fascinates me. So I was lucky with all the perfume launching events that I've been attending to lately. It enables me to try out new perfumes on the market, as well as gaining info and knowledge about scents, perfume notes, and so on...
The latest perfume launching event that I got the opportunity to attend was the Aigner Debut launching, held at Burgundy - Grand Hyatt Hotel. It was a jam packed event with a special appearance by the German Ambassador for Indonesia.
Anyway, at the event we were introduced to the Aigner Debut Eau de Parfum, a new feminine fragrance from Aigner.
Following the recent launch of their eponymous men's scent, Aigner No.1, the Aigner fragrance portfolio continues to flourish and to reflect the brand's fashion credentials. Aigner Parfums introduces Debut, their elegant new female perfume which makes its inaugural appearance on the world stage.

Packaging.
The soft pink and gold theme of the whole package that each of us received, as well as the simple classic silhouette of the bottle itself looks really pretty and ultra feminine. It really resembles what type of perfume is the Aigner Debut all about. A timeless classic twist with an elegant luxury feel, and a refreshingly modern touch.
I really adore the delicate shade of rose highlighted by an opulent gold font at the front of the packaging. The overall look is very feminine and graceful, it reminds you of a timeless beauty.
Scent.
Aigner Debut is floral oriental perfume, with fresh top notes of Bergamot, Petitgrain, Mandarin, Green Apple, and Yuzu (orange). Followed with a rich intense middle notes of Orange Flower, Jasmine and Water Lily, and a little touch of Ambrette Seed. And lastly, comes the warm base notes of Cedarwood, Patchouli, Oakmoss, Vanilla, and White Musk that brings out a subtle deepness to this perfume.
I love any perfume with a warm woodsy notes, and white musk is one of my most favorite notes in perfume, so if there's a perfume that has white musk in it (and also Patchouli, Vetiver, or any other type of woodsy notes), I would definitely love it ^__^
My Take.
Based on the warm base notes and white musk itself I was determined to love this perfume. I also fell in love with it since the first time I took a sniff of it at the event. My first initial thoughts upon sniffing this perfume for the first time is : "luxurious, high-class, sweet-powdery". Those are the first three words that came into my mind ;p
It's a little bit different than the other perfumes I had where as the scents are mostly either sweet feminine scent with fun flirty feel to it, or a sensual woodsy warm aroma with a fresh opening. This Debut perfume is a little bit more classy and luxurious than that, like something that you would smell from a high-end product. Although this is not the most expensive perfume I've ever encountered but this one surely have that "expensive" feel to it.
You know it's hard to describe a scent unless you smell it yourself, right? So please bear with me as I can only describe the scents as above ;)
Aside from Eau de Parfum, Aigner Debut also released a Luxury Body Lotion as well as a Luxury Bath & Shower Gel with the same scent and packaging. I got the body lotion and it smells as divine as the perfume. I can imagine that I would smell totally luxurious if I layer the perfume with the body lotion ;p
Scent-wise I really really love it, and if you have an opportunity to sample it or try the scent while you're in a store, then do smell it so you'll know what I'm talking about here. I think most women out there would love this especially those in their twenties and older. It's a classic signature scent that can be worn anytime of the day, but I personally would save it for special occasions only, and that's because to me the scent is very special and it is by far My Most Favorite Perfume amongst my perfume stash.

Aigner Debut Luxury Body Lotion / Aigner Debut Luxury Bath & Shower Gel are both available in 200ml size each for @ IDR 370,000.

ReplyDeleteThough we are debut lover....i fell in love with this one at the first sniff.and based on experience it lasts all day long without respray!for women like me which is lazy to retouch anything but wanna be still adorable all day long.haha.and this aigner debut give me that shining 5 stars for longlasting and luxury smell perfume in affordable price

Yes, the scent lasts longer on my body too, especially when I double it with the body lotion. I think it works with our body chemistry. The scent really brings up the luxury feel to it, yes?
