LOLLIPOPS BB Cream with Absinthe Extract

Which girly girl wouldn't feel happy when seeing a super cute pink/white packaging like this one? The pink/white polka dot pattern on the catalog really sold me straight away. The vintage touch in the design also makes it more adorable and worth to be talked about. It's the new Lollipops Makeup from Paris!
Lollipops is (at first) a Parisian accessories brand with a creative spirit of affordable design. Its collection is a feminine, glamorous, and sparkling vision of fashion accessory. Then in 2012 they introduced their gorgeous makeup collection, revealing beautiful colors of Lollipops makeup range.
The new Lollipops makeup range is definitely a glamorous, playful, and colorful collection. The products are made with high professional quality and all products are made in France and Italy. The formulas are developed really carefully with no Paraben and no preservatives. And it comes with a fun packaging as well !
Lollipops makeup offer a wide array of products, from liquid foundation, sun powder, primer, to mascara, lipstick, and even a cute pop-up palette that can be worn for blush and/or eyeshadow. This week I've been trying their BB Cream which comes in a fun girly packaging as you can see above. It also has a vintage touch to it which I really like.
This BB Cream is infused with extracts of Absinthe, which is said to be able to tone our skin and perfect our complexion in 5 actions: hydrate, evens skin tone, corrects imperfections, revives shine, and protects from UV rays.
It does have an SPF 15 for extra protection, and it is oil free too. What a complete package, right? Now let's see how it goes on my combination skin...
As you can see on above photo, it is a medium shade with an orange tint and yellow-based tone to it. But as most BB Creams do, this Lollipops BB Cream also have a universal shade, which means almost anyone can wear this shade because it's gonna spread evenly on your skin and adjust itself to your own skin tone. At least, that's what I believe ;p
Although normally this shade would be a bit too dark for me but a few minutes after I put it on, it actually didn't show any darker shade at all. In fact, it blurs with my skin tone and creates a sheer layer of a more brighter, even-toned, and smoother complexion on my face. And when I added the rest of my makeup it becomes a perfect palette and seems to make my whole complexion looks more radiant and (might I say) seems flawless.
It has mild to medium coverage, depends on how much you apply the BB Cream, but on my photos here I only put a normal amount of product which turns into a sheer layer of coverage. As you can see, some of my imperfections are still there because of the sheer coverage but the overall look is quite flawless.
My makeup runs smoothly on top of it and I think it helps the makeup to stays put for a little while longer. Here I put on another layer of loose powder because I always set my BB Cream with a setting powder.
I also tried layering it with a compact powder and it goes really well with that too. As for the oil-free claim, I have to say that it holds oil pretty good. My skin is combination towards oily and I've worn this for 7 hours inside a bright hot room and did a lot of movements (which means: sweat), but I didn't feel very greasy, and my makeup didn't melt. The effect lasted from noon until late at night, and amazingly my makeup still stay intact until that late night.
Overall, I like this BB Cream not only because of its girly vintage-y packaging, but also for the good quality of the product. The formula is light and perfect for everyday wear. If you prefer a natural / sheer base instead of a full coverage makeup, then you might want to try this BB Cream.
