Pamper Day - VoL.2
5:19:00 PM
I did another Pamper Day recently while I was staying over at my new place. I brought with me quite a lot of stuff and I also already have a few products stored at the new place for when I sleep-over. So after a few busy days cleaning and organizing the new place (while still blogging and doing my freelance jobs), I finally had a free afternoon. So I decided to pamper myself with a thorough pamper session, from body - hair - and face.
I like to do a head-to-toe pamper session if I have time. I consider it as a time to relax and unwind a little bit, while taking the time to properly give my whole body the treatment it totally deserves. Sometimes after doing a pamper session I'd like to continue with enjoying a cup of tea while reading a book or playing games in the ipad (I love computer games ;p). Sometimes I would light a scented candle on the background too. Everybody needs a "Me" time once a while in their busy daily life.
So anyway, this time I started my pamper session by washing my hair with the Schwarzkopf Extra Care Hydra Collagen Shampoo that has liquid keratin in it. If you read my regular Empties post, you would notice that I always change my shampoo because I like to try them out to find the right shampoo for my hair. This is one of the current shampoo that I've been trying. So far, this is great only if I use hair-dryer afterward. If I let it air-dry then it would make my hair greasy easily. But this is the only shampoo available in my new place so I gotta get on with it.
For the conditioner I'm using the Makarizo Hair Repair
(mentioned here) as a deep conditioner. I don't use regular conditioner because I find they doesn't really work for my hair. So I usually wash my hair two times with the same shampoo, and then once a week I would use a deep conditioner or hair mask instead. I find those routine is better for my hair compared with using regular conditioner. After towel-drying my hair I also put on the Clear Anti hair-Fall Daily Scalp Tonic (mentioned here) on some areas of my scalp to prevent itchy scalp and reduce
hair-fall.
Then for the body, I hopped into the shower and washed it with Honeycat Cosmetics "On The Prowl" Peach Brandy Shower Gel. This really does smell like brandy and the bottle also resemble some kind of a drink ;p I had this for a little while so I thought it's time to finally use this shower gel because I've been saving it for too long.
I also use a body scrub for a thorough pampering session because I usually don't have time to scrub my body on daily basis. This time I'm using the Ovale Balinese Milk Scrub which is AMAZING by the way! Ovale is a local Indonesian brand which is a hit & miss for me sometimes, but this one is totally a hit!
After I got out of the shower I immediately put on my body mist which is the cute pink princess-like bottle on the photo above, isn't she a pretty? It's the Etude House Shinee Ms. Bloom Perfume Mist (review) which has a soft floral bouquet scent. It makes me feel pretty :)
And last but not least, I put on my body moisturizer which is the Victoria's Secret Love Spell Hydrating Body Lotion with cherry blossom & peach scent.
I also took great measure with my face, starting by lifting off any makeup residue with the Shu Uemura Fresh Pore Clarifying Cleansing Oil, followed by L'Occitane Angelica Cleansing Gel (review) with organic Angelica water and essential oil. Then I put on a face mask all over my face while scrubbing off my body with the Ovale Milk Scrub that I mentioned previously. The mask I'm choosing this time is the widely popular Glam Glow Mud Mask (review). This mask gives an instant glow and a healthy complexion.
After I got out of the shower I wiped my face with Kiehls Cucumber
Herbal Toner (alcohol-free) before following up with the Hello Care
Intensive Cactus Collagen Treatment Mask (review will be up soon). This
mask needs 20 - 30 minutes to work its magic so while waiting for it I
play around with my phone, checking instagram and path ^o^
After
I took off the sheet mask, I patted my face a little bit so the
remaining essence from the mask are absorbed by my skin. After it's totally
absorbed I then continue with my serum and moisturizer. This time, I'm
trying out Avene products that I got from my Vanity Trove box. I apply
the Avene Whitening Essence first and then followed by Avene Whitening
Fluid, both from their Sensitive White range.
That's it for my Pamper Day session this time. If you would like to see my Pamper Day Vol.01 Click Here.
