Last year I officially started my designer collection obsession. Although I already had a couple of designer items before but I never thought of starting a collection. Maybe because I haven't jumped into the #bagfrenzy wagon yet. It all began last year when I won the Kate Spade Georgina bag from Female Daily / Banananina contest. That was the first time the ignition sparks for me, Lol. I started to appreciate the quality of designer bags and how it could be an investment for the future (because the market price is still high for preloved designer items). So I hope I don't sound like showing off or anything, I just want to share with those of you who understands this #bagcrazy and #bagaholic fever. If you read purseforum you would know what that means :) 

As you probably know, I have a shopping disease... And the worst case of the disease is called: "online shopping" (^o^)

If you love shopping then you probably know the danger of online shopping. It makes us lose control because it is so easy to shop. With just a click of a button and without leaving your desk you can shop, shop, and keep on shopping til you drop ^o^

With the many online stores and shopping website on the internet sometimes it's confusing to choose which ones are the best places to shop. Being a "mega-shopaholic" myself, sometimes I got a bit overwhelmed by the many online shopping places out there. As usual, if I found a new online store that looks interesting I always do some research first. 

Don't forget to always be cautious when you shop online because there are some online stores that have bad reputations or fake accounts / fake goods. So reading reviews is very useful to know whether the online store is trustful or recommended by others, and whether other people have issues with the store or not. 

If I want to shop from local online store, I would search some reviews first to make sure that the store is eligible. And if I want to shop from online stores located or based outside my country, I would want to know whether the international shipment caused any problems or delays, or whether the packaging is good enough for overseas shipment to make sure that my goods would not be damaged upon delivery.

Ever since I found out about Shop Venture (you might probably knew them as "Booroos.com" before they changed their name), I find it very useful to search for new places to shop, as well as to search for store reviews. 

Shop Venture is a place where you can find lots of reviews on various online stores out there. The reviews are written by the users themselves so it's based on true experience. That's what I like about it, the reviews are honest and based on real experience.

I also have written my own reviews there, based on my own experience of shopping from several online stores. You can also join Shop Venture and write reviews of your own, as well as searching for other reviews that you need. One thing to note: users can also win prizes provided by Shop Venture if they write reviews on the website ;)

So I've heard about this website called Reebonz.com - (I've heard about them because they are a popular shopping service that sells discounted designer items), but I never shop there before. As you know, designer items are not cheap (even though they are on discount) so I want to make sure that the website is really legit. So that's when I went to Shop Venture website to look for the reviews about Reebonz. From reading the user reviews at Shop Venture I found out that Reebonz is a very legit place to score discounted designer items. All the reviews have been positive so based on that I decided to try out shopping from Reebonz Indonesia website.

Fast forward, my shopping experience from Reebonz Indonesia turns out to be as good as those reviews stated in Shop Venture - Reebonz review page. The shipment took less than 2 weeks and my goods were delivered very nicely in an elegant box complete with gold ribbon.

I bought a Longchamp Le Pliage Tote Bag in Gunmetal which they wrapped nicely inside the box. The bag is an original and comes complete with Longchamp tag care. I was very satisfied with my overall shopping experience with Reebonz so I came back to Shop Venture website to write my own reviews :)

I love this bag so much because it can be worn daily and even if it holds a ton it still feels lightweight on my shoulder. Now "christmas sale" and "end of year" sale is comin' up, so I would definitely find myself checking out the Shop Venture pages for new reviews and new stores to shop from ;)

Lioele Perfect Soothing Essence Mask

It comes in a really nice gradation of purple color packaging and the information says that this mask would help promotes skin metabolism and also blood circulation, thus helps skin to refresh and rejuvenates itself. It contains high concentration of witch hazel, chamomile, and ginkgo extract to provide nutrition and moisture to the skin.

This sheet mask is like a solution for tired and exhausted skin. I put this on at night because it has a moon symbol on the packaging which I think means it's supposed to be worn at night (^_^) Anyway, you put this mask on and leave it for about 20-30 minutes before you remove it gently and pat the remaining essence on your skin.

I like this mask for the super cooling effect that calms my skin down as well as rejuvenates my tired skin. After a long hot day under the sun this mask helps cool down the skin and it also felt very soothing. My skin feels and looks refreshed instantly.


Lioele 3D Lifting Mask

This mask has a very lovely soft fragrance that feels very calming. At first I was intrigued to know what the 3D means, it turns out that this mask has a shape unlike any other face masks I've tried before. It's large and long enough to fit all corners of my face down to the neck! It covers every surface of skin and seems to follow the curve of my face. Hmm, so that's why they called this a 3D mask ;)

This mask contains peptide and Natto gum to helps with skin elasticity which would help firms the skin. It has no paraben and no artificial color. Although it says "no scents" but I definitely can smell the soft lovely aroma when I first opened the pretty white-pink sheet.

The mask itself feels super wet but I didn't experienced any dripping (although I used it while laying on my bed). You put this mask on for 15-20 minutes before removing it gently, and although this one is not as cooling as the Perfect Soothing Essence Mask above but this one still feels nice and soothing. This mask gives instant suppleness to the skin and also moisturizes the skin nicely.

Overall, I love both of these Lioele sheet masks because each of them gives instant results that makes my skin feels and looks better. I also love the pretty packaging of these Lioele sheet masks. I would definitely want to try other Lioele sheet masks now. Any suggestions?

Okay, so this is an overdue post but a while ago I received a big bundle of products from Himalaya Herbals to try out, and they sent me A LOT of various products so it took a little bit longer for me to decide which ones I should try out first ;)

Before I opened the big green package I didn't even know that there are other products from Himalaya Herbals that are available here in Indonesia other than face washes. Apparently they also have other variants of products such as face moisturizer, lip balms, baby products, and even toothpaste!

Due to the amount of products that they included in the package, I think I'm gonna review them separately here. Anyway, if you didn't already know, Himalaya Herbals is beauty brand that are focusing on natural ingredients and herbs. They have several variants for their skincare products that were specifically meant for each skin type / skin problems, such as :

- Purifying Neem

- Gentle Exfoliating

- Oil Control / Lemon

- Clear Complexion

As you can see above, I received a variety of products such as face wash, face mask, moisturizer, lip balms, etc. I have reviewed two variants of Himalaya Herbals before which is the Purifying Neem Face Wash and the Gentle Exfoliating Daily Face Wash (you can read the review here).

Today I will review a series of products from their Clear Complexion variant. The Clear Complexion is the whitening range from Himalaya Herbals. The range was created to give a result of clearer and more visibly brighter skin. There are three products in this range which are: Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash, Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub, and Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream.

I've been using this range for over two weeks now and I found it works great with my normal-combination skin. I think this is pretty much suitable for any skin type but if you have sensitive skin you still have to try it on small patches first to see if your skin has any reaction to it or not.

The main ingredients in this range is Licorice extract and White Dammer Bark extract (damar putih). Licorice root extract helps regulate melanin synthesis to restore our skin's natural fairness, while white dammer bark extract has a clarifying and brightening properties.

Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Wash

When I changed my daily face wash with this one I felt that it balances my combination skin. So it keeps my skin from being too oily or too dry. The texture is a clear-like gel which goes on light on the skin and did not irritate my skin at all. It has a soap-free formula and free from paraben, sls, and phtalates. Overall, it's a nice no-fuss face wash that I can use everyday to clean my face.

Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub

Two-three times a week I would use this face scrub after I wash my face with the Clear Complexion Face Wash above. Other than the licorice roots and white dammer bark extracts, the face scrub also contains Apricot granules which would gently scrub away dead skin cells, blackheads and other impurities to give a result of a visibly brighter, soft and glowing skin. The texture is like a lotion with tiny granules in it so this is not that gritty type of face scrub but instead it feels smooth on the skin. Personally I prefer a gritty scrub so this is too mellow for me, but overall I've been enjoying this face scrub nonetheless ;)

Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Day Cream

Lastly, I used this cream as my morning moisturizer after washing and scrubbing my face. This medium sized pot is full with yummy looking cream filled to the brim! It is a light and non-greasy cream that sinks in nicely on my skin without leaving any residue on the surface. It suppose to helps clear dark spots and uneven pigmentation on the skin, and it has natural UV protection too. The moisturizer has a pale brown shade with creamy consistency that feels luxurious on the skin.

Overall, after using all three products as a range of skincare for a couple of weeks, I feel that my skin loves it and they keep my normal-combination skin feels more balanced. I also didn't experienced any breakout or irritation. Out of all three products, my favorite would be the Whitening Day Cream because of the creamy consistency and I also love how my skin absorbs it really well. The nice packaging is a bonus!

I recommend these Clear Complexion Whitening series for those of you who are looking for a simple everyday skincare (face wash + face scrub + moisturizer) that are not too heavy for daily use and are affordable too. You can easily find Himalaya Herbals products at your nearest supermarket or beauty stores :)

Setelah agak lama vakum dari blog karena sakit, hari ini I'm finally back with a product review! 

Produk yang akan saya review kali ini cukup menarik karena baru pertama kali ini saya coba (dan bahkan baru pertama kali dengar nama produknya ;p). Karena produk ini adalah jenis produk yang hasilnya bisa dilihat setelah pemakaian beberapa lama, maka kali ini saya akan cerita tentang "first impression" saya ketika memakai Hakubi White C Gel selama kurang lebih 2 minggu.

First of all, saya mendapatkan produk ini dari Nihonmart Beauty Kosmetik Online. Sesuai info yang saya dapat dari website Nihonmart, Hakubi White C series ini adalah rangkaian produk perawatan kulit dari SATO Pharmaceutical Japan, salah satu perusahaan farmasi yang terdepan di Jepang.

Produknya sendiri terdiri dari Gel serum untuk kulit dan Tablet Supplemen. Rangkaian produk Hakubi White C Gel – Suplemen pemutih kulit memiliki fungsi utama untuk mencegah dan menyamarkan flek dan bintik hitam di kulit yang biasanya diakibatkan oleh sinar matahari.

Yang saya coba kali ini adalah produk Gel nya, yaitu Hakubi White C Gel. Selain untuk menyamarkan flek dan bintik hitam, Hakubi White C Gel juga dapat dipakai untuk mengatasi jerawat sekaligus mengatasi minyak berlebih di kulit wajah. Selain itu juga berfungsi untuk melembabkan, mengencangkan serta melindungi kulit.

Bentuk packaging-nya simpel dan sangat praktis. Walaupun bentuknya gel tapi dikemas dalam botol bentuk tube berukuran kecil sehingga lebih ringkas dan mudah dibawa bepergian dibanding botol beling/plastik. Pada bagian ujung tube terdapat lubang sangat kecil sehingga produk yang dikeluarkan menjadi tidak mudah tumpah kemana-mana, dan juga tidak boros dalam pemakaian.

Tube nya sendiri gampang dipencet, nggak perlu pakai tenaga cukup ditekan sedikit sudah keluar gel nya. Untuk kadar pemakaian juga tidak perlu terlalu banyak, cukup dikeluarkan sedikit dan seperlunya saja untuk dioleskan pada kulit wajah terutama pada titik-titik hitam dan/atau flek pada kulit.

Untuk teksturnya sendiri berbentuk gel bening yang agak cair namun sedikit kental. Ketika dioleskan di kulit sih rasanya biasa aja, nggak ada rasa dingin atau panas di kulit. Saya suka formula Gel nya yang cepat menyerap, jadi setelah pemakaian Hakubi White C Gel ini saya bisa langsung pakai pelembab muka. 

Biasanya saya pakai Hakubi White C Gel ini pagi hari dan juga sore hari setelah mandi. Gel ini tidak berbau dan tidak terasa di lengket di kulit maupun di jari tangan ketika pemakaian. Rasanya seperti tidak memakai apa-apa, it's a very invincible gel and I like it that way :)

Anyway, setelah pemakaian kurang lebih selama 2 minggu, saya merasa flek hitam di wajah saya agak memudar sedikit. Sejauh ini sih saya cukup puas karena gel ini memberikan hasil yang sesuai dengan janji di box nya tanpa menimbulkan reaksi alergi apapun di kulit saya. Flek hitam nampak mulai memudar sedikit demi sedikit. Saya cukup yakin, dalam beberapa minggu ke depan dengan pemakaian rutin maka flek di wajah saya akan semakin memudar ;)

It's late but it's time for another empties post!

I've been giving myself a pat in the back because I'm proud to be able to finish a lot of products since 2 months ago. My Empties bin is always full of products lately so I've been very happy and satisfied with it. 

It usually took longer time for me to finish a product because most of the time I'm just too lazy to routinely use all the beauty products I have on my vanity. But I've been diligently using them up for the past couple of months so it's quite exciting to see them go because truthfully it starts to get overwhelming here with stacks and stacks of products lying around everywhere ^o^

So anyway, last month I finished quite a lot of products which mostly are bodycare and skincare products. There are quite a few full size products that I finally finished last month aside from the usual travel and/or smaller size products.

So without further ado, here are my Empties for last month... This time I divide them up by product sizes in no particular order or categories, so I hope it's easy enough to read and see the products clearly. As usual, I will also include a mini review on each product and whether or not I would repurchase it again. Let's start!

Udderly Smooth Moisturizing Lotion

This is a super size body lotion which I got from a US company several years ago (yes, it's that old!). The bottle is so huge it took a really long time to finish. Overall, I love Udderly Smooth products because they cure dryness like nobody's business [REVIEWED HERE].

NOTE: I would repurchase this again based on the cute cow-prints alone (i love cow prints!), but it's not available here. If you have super duper dry skin that no lotion can heal, try Udderly Smooth!

Honeycat Cosmetics On The Prowl Peach Brandy Shower Gel

It has a really long name but it's basically a peach brandy scented shower gel in a cute packaging. This is also a product that's been sitting too long in my shower so I'm glad I finally finished this off (with the help of my husband ;p). It has thick texture so a little goes a long way. Check out Honeycat Cosmetics if you like cute things.

NOTE: To replace this I'm back to using my Etude House Sweet Appleade Body Wash.

Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray

My HG hair product! I love the formula that absorbs quickly and doesn't weigh my hair down. Love the way it makes my blow-drying time much shorter and love how it volumizes my hair. My strands feels light and airy all day.

NOTE: I already stock it up! I highly recommended this if you're looking for heat protective spray for your hair.

ROC Extra Comfort Cleansing Water

This is my number two micellar water solution after Bioderma. This cleanse off beautifully and lift off those makeup, dirt and oil off my face. Although I still prefer Bioderma's texture and power in lifting makeup but I'd say this ROC one comes very close. It's also fairly cheaper than Bioderma ^o^

NOTE: I got this from my Strawberrynet haul but right now it's not available on the website. Hopefully it's available again soon. As replacement I'm now trying on the Bioderma Sebium.

Udderly Smooth Udder Cream

Another Udderly Smooth product and another big love! This one is lightly scented and it's as good as the moisturizing lotion above. There's no Udderly Smooth product that I didn't like [REVIEWED HERE].

NOTE: To replace this right now I'm using Nivea UV Extra Whitening Body Lotion.

Oscar Blandi Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray

This is my first dry shampoo and I really really like it. It has no visible color and it absorbs quickly and bring my hair back to life in just several minutes!

NOTE: I would def repurchase this but I also want to try other brand such as the popular Batiste.

Belia Earth Fantasy Mist Cologne

I bought this when I was staying over and forgot to bring any fragrance, so I bought it from nearby store. Hubby picked the scent for me but I like it too although secretly I kinda like the other one ;p

NOTE: I've been using this so that I can finish it off and use something else. I'm now back to using my Etude House Shinee Ms.Bloom Perfume Mist which has super cute ballet princess packaging ;)

L'Occitane Purifying Rice Toner

This is a discontinued product from L'Occitane and that's the reason why I held on to it for a long time because once it's empty I couldn't repurchase it :( It's one of my favorite toner ever because it cleans my oily face thoroughly even picking up lots of dirt and makeup left from previous cleansing.

NOTE: I'm so sad that this is discontinued, I would have repurchase it. 

Made From Earth Rosehip + Hibiscus Organic Face Serum

I got this from one of my sponsored blog project a couple years ago and I quite like the result it gives my skin aside from the heavy texture that feels a little bit sticky on the skin [REVIEWED HERE].

NOTE: It's not locally available here so to replace this serum I'm now using Hakubi White C Gel that I recently got from Nihonmart. 

The Body Shop Satsuma Hand Cleanse Gel

This is my only hand-bac that's not from Bath & Body Works (BBW) ;p. The bottle is bigger than BBW and it's kinda hard to squeeze especially when it's getting empty. The scent is quite fresh but when it starts to get empty I can smell the alcohol in it [REVIEWED HERE].

NOTE: I'm not sure whether or not to repurchase because I'm curious to try other scents but I hate the bottle and the alcohol scent that comes out when it starts to get empty. Anyway, to replace this I'm using BBW Paris Amour pocket bac.

Etude House Dress Room Sweet Look Body Wash and Body Lotion

These are my body wash and body lotion set for travels and stay-overs. I love the cute pink packaging and I'm thinking of not throwing the packaging away and putting them in the dressing room for decor instead ;p Anyway, this smells exactly like Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction which is too sweetly sweet for me [REVIEWED HERE].

NOTE: I think they're unavailable now because Etude House change their products so quickly. Right now I use Cath Kidston Honeysuckle Body Wash & Body Lotion travel set as replacements.

Citrus Clear Tangerine Tingle

This is an exfoliator that can double up as a mask. It's meant for oily skin and promise to bring back that healthy bright tone on your face. I think I'm allergic to one of the ingredients here because it burns a little bit on my skin so I never use it as face mask [REVIEWED HERE].

NOTE: To replace this face scrub / face mask duo I have another similar product which is The Skin Food Black Sugar Wash Off Mask.

LUX Velvet Touch Body Wash

It's a teeny tiny bottle that I sometimes use for traveling. This smells really nice and quite refreshing at the same time. 

NOTE: I won't mind repurchasing the big size bottle because this one smells really nice, but I already have a stack full of LUX shower gels on my stash.

Orlane Absolute Recovery Cleansing Serum Eyes

It's an eye makeup remover infused with some skin recovery formula, so it is an eye serum as well as eye makeup remover in one. It's a no-go for me. The texture is weird because it's thick and gooey but it's very runny so it's kinda hard to use. I also think it only works on removing light eyeshadow but useless for eyeliner or mascara.

NOTE: Def not gonna purchase this and I also won't recommend it either. Eye makeup remover and eye serum should be two separate different things ^o^

Lioele Perfect Soothing Essence Mask

It says the mask would help with skin metabolism and blood circulation as well as help rejuvenates the skin. I kinda like this mask because it has a very cooling effect which also calms my skin down. It's perfect to use after a deep clean mask to help cools down the skin.

NOTE: I will do a more detailed review soon of both of these Lioele face masks.

This one has a weird shape unlike any other face masks I've tried before, but it seems to fit all surface of my face down to the neck! The sheet is super wet but it's not drippy, it has a cooling effect but it's not as cooling as the Perfect Soothing Mask above.

I've been asked to add more candle reviews here on this blog so I thought today I'm gonna do one ;)

If you're my Indonesian readers then you probably noticed that scented candles are not commonly available here in our country, right? I used to buy my scented candles at Ace Hardware that sells Yankee candles as well as a few other brands. And now we have the newly opened Ikea store which also sells a number of scented candles. 

Other places to look for candles are local online stores. I also found some cute cat candles in the Office 1 Store and I found these Twilight candles at Informa store. 

First of all, these Twilight candles are one of the cheapest candles I found locally. Compared to Yankee Candles which retails for IDR 29.900 for the smallest votive size, these twilight candles are much more cheaper than that, but I think these Twilight candles are smaller in size though. I actually forgot how much these candles cost me because I bought these since 3 years ago and I remember it was on discount so I bought three of them because they are so cheap.

Other than the affordable price, I also like the packaging of Twilight candles which already come with its little tin compartment. Yankee Candles doesn't come with compartment if you buy the smallest size (votive). I also think the design on the tin of these Twilight candles are pretty and looks elegant if you put it on display. It would accentuate the room nicely even if you don't light it.

There were a number of scents to choose from but I chose Cinnamon because I like the slightly sweet woodsy scent that I got from sniffing the candle. BUT although these Twilight cinnamon candles smells good on the tin, it doesn't really have a strong scent when lit. 

Although it says "high fragrance candle" on the packaging but I didn't find it strong-scented, actually I didn't smell anything at all even after I burned all three of them at the same time. It would took hours and hours of burning these three candles at the same time to finally get a hint of the cinnamon scent.

So these Twilight cinnamon candle is a bit of disappointment for me. Other than it's good looking outer packaging, I don't like anything else from this candle. I found these candles rather useless because it's very hard to notice the scent once it burned. It also doesn't burn evenly so it creates a hollow part in the middle which I hate.

However, I still might try other scents from Twilight candles though, because based from  my experience of burning a variety of candles, sometimes it doesn't mean that the quality would be the same for all the candles even though they came from the same manufacturer. Some candles have stronger scent-throw compared to other scents from the same candle company. So yeah, I might try other scents from Twilight Candles because they're quite cheap to buy anyway...

Saya pernah menulis review lengkap tentang Bioderma Sensibio H20 beberapa bulan lalu, kamu bisa membaca review lengkapnya disini. Bioderma Sensibio ini sebenarnya ditujukan untuk kulit sensitif, tapi walaupun kulit saya waktu itu cenderung kombinasi oily tapi saya tetap bisa pakai Sensibio H20 dengan nyaman dan saya suka sekali hasilnya yang benar-benar bisa mengangkat banyak makeup dari kulit muka.

Kalau dulu di Indonesia baru ada varian yang Sensibio, sekarang Bioderma sudah mengeluarkan varian terbarunya yaitu Sebium H20. Produk Bioderma sendiri mempunyai beberapa jenis varian, diantaranya adalah Sensibio dan Sebium. Untuk kulit yang cenderung kering dan kulit sensitif bisa menggunakan Bioderma Sensibio H20 yang berwarna merah, sementara untuk kulit yang berminyak atau berjerawat dapat menggunakan varian Sebium H20 yang berwarna hijau.

Untuk Sebium H20 mengandung bahan paten FluidActiv yang dapat membantu mengontrol sebum serta mengurangi kemungkinan pori-pori tersumbat. Produk ini non-comedogenic sehingga tidak menimbulkan komedo, juga tidak menyebabkan kulit menjadi kering.
