2013 Personal Favorites : Outfit Diary

[UPDATED]: with new outfit faves which I forgot to include yesterday when posting this ;)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now that we have talked about my Best Beauty Product of The Year for 2013, I would like to also feature my personal favorites of my daily outfit diary. I didn't really took pictures of my outfit each day during 2013 because mostly I couldn't find the time (because usually I'm always in a hurry - and taking photos in public still make me shy), so that's why I haven't been uploading daily outfit photos to my chictopia account. Most of the time I took photos with my phone and then uploaded it on my instagram so if you're interested in outfit diary you can follow me on my Instagram too.

Meanwhile, here is some of my favorite outfit from last year. This is a personal favorites of mine, so I decided to put them here to record them because I might repeat this outfit again in the future, LOL :
In no particular order:
Here's one of my favorite look book that I created last year. I wore this outfit for a day out with my girlfriends. But unfortunately I didn't take a whole outfit photo when I wore this, so here's the look book photo instead.. If any of you is wondering, the red sweater here is from Mango, and the striped dress is from Icons. The bag is vintage hand-me-down from my momma, and the white wedges are from Payless. Oh and I was wearing my white Ice Watch too.
This
is one of my favorite dress and one of my favorite haul ever! Well
actually this is not a haul because I got this for free. I always feel
so blessed whenever I remember this dress because this is a Stella McCartney
dress and this is given to me by my cousin. Yes, given, a.k.a Free! And
yes, it is literally my first high-end designer clothing! I still can't
believe my luck. Anyway, here I wore it to a posh wedding party at the Ritz Carlton, pairing it with my nude shoes courtesy of Oasap, my gold bangle from De Moda, and my stud earrings from Marks & Spencer.
Okay, so this one is the outfit I wore for a date with my hubby. I was more into casual laidback style during 2013, wearing lots of pants instead of skirts and dresses. Here I wore my trusted black Zara pants, paired with my mint colored Bershka oversized blouse, and a sparkly Naf-Naf tank top underneath it. The necklace is a gift from Mom's trip to Jogja, the kitten heel sandals are from Charles & Keith, and the bag is my Ciciero bag that I literally abused because I wore it almost everyday ;)
Here's one that I wore during the cold rainy season. It was raining a lot during the last months of 2013 and it was pouring down hard with a chance of storm. Sometimes it would just rain all day. I can't stand cold weather because I shiver easily, so I always bundle up whenever it rains hard and the weather is super cold. Here I went shopping at the mall, it was a rainy day and the mall have super cold air conditioner so I prepared myself by wearing super warm outfit. I wore my Mango grey turtleneck layered with my XKorz knit grey vest. My black Zara jeans again, and also my black Charles & Keith sandals again (I need more black jeans & black sandals). The necklace is from one of my sponsor A Little bit of Pretty via Etsy, and my bag is from Noche.
I'm sorry if this one is a bit blur but I hope you can see the outfit pretty clearly. It is one of my favorite outfit because: (1). I really love the scarf which was a birthday gift from my cousin. (2). Because this photo received a LOT of likes in instagram ;p The gifted scarf has an equestrian motif which I featured HERE, and this is one of my favorite scarf in my stash right now. The top I'm wearing underneath is just a simple white t-shirt from Pull & Bear, and the pants is (again) my Zara ones. The bag is Noche, the sling back open toe shoes is from Charles & Keith, the white bracelet and black headband are from Stroberi, and the gold three-finger ring is courtesy of Oasap.
Here's another look book that is on top of my favorites last year. I wore this for a casual day out and it was a hot summer month so that's why I chose to wear this Zara shorts which I paired with this pretty orange eyelet blouse with peterpan collar from one of my favorite brand Chic Simple. I got this via the Metro big sale event, and Chic Simple is definitely the number one brand that I turned to whenever there's a Metro sale ;) Continuing with the orange theme, I picked out the orange pom-pom sandals from Payless and the orange bag that I got from Chicnova.
This is also one of my top favorite lookbook that I created in the mid of 2013. I wore this outfit to the Carolina Herrera CH Sublime Perfume launching at the Mulia Hotel. I decided to go casual chic with a touch of elegant which I think would be appropriate for the media release event. So I opted for this look including a vintage striped long-sleeve blouse, a nice pair of black pants which I got a long time ago from ITC Ambassador, a logo clutch from Guess, and my beloved Kate Spade necklace. This necklace can elevate any clothes even when I paired it with plain t-shirt, it would make it look more chic and polished, I love this necklace.
Another look book that I love is this red/black/white themed outfit. I wore this to the mall on a weekend. I like to change styles depending on that day's mood, and I was in a mood to dress up a little bit edgy to match my somber mood that day. So I chose this look book that include my Zara mustache t-shirt layered with my black cardigan from a boutique in Poins, a red plaid skirt from X.S.M.L and a vintage bag from Ettienne Aigner (hand me down from my mom in law). The ankle boots from The Little Things She Needs adds up an edgy factor to the whole look.
This
is one of the casual outfit, more like my everyday costume ;p I love
leggings because they're comfortable and this is one of my best legging
find. It's a skirted legging with a mini skirt attached to it, so I
don't have to worry if my rear area is showing, and now I can also wear
shorter top with my legging because the attached mini skirt already
cover my bum ;p The legging is from eBay, and the top is from Singapore that I bought a loooong time ago (the label already worn off). I also wore a basic tank top underneath which is unbranded. The necklace that I wore here is from De Moda, the brown leather sandal is from Studio Nine. My bag is from Elle, and my watch is from Fossil.
Probably one of my top favorite, this outfit post also received a lot of ratings. I wore this outfit to the Lancome event. Here I wore my Mango knit sweater with a random brand white tanktop underneath (because it's see-through). The pants is my usual Zara black pants again (I seriously need more black pants). The shoes is the nude pumps courtesy of Oasap, the bag is from Guess, and the necklace is from Cucito via Monospace which I featured HERE. Other accessories that I wore are a hairtie from Stroberi which I wear as bracelet and another gold bracelet from Guess.
Last but not least, I wore this outfit to the Aigner Debut perfume launching event. The dresscode was pink and gold, so I decided to wear this floral print pants from Uniqlo, paired with my hot pink cardigan from Polo by Ralph Lauren, and a pink clutch from River Island. I also added some gold accents in the form of gold collar necklace courtesy of Oasap, and gold bracelet from De Moda. The shoes are my black/pink wedge shoes that I got from a boutique in Poins.
Now those are some of the outfits I wore during 2013. Maybe I would make another post featuring my Favorite Fashion Items of 2013, but maybe not ;p Meanwhile, don't forget to follow my instagram for a more updated fashion/beauty/dailylife posts.
So, do you like any of the outfits above? Which ones do you like the most?
