FEBRUARY Empties
2:25:00 AM
Again, I'm sorry for being MIA because I'm
kinda super busy lately with my other freelance jobs, and I also have some
other domestic things to be taken care of, as well as my personal daily agenda
that needs to be attended to.
Anyway,
here's a super-late Empties post for you. This is for last month a.k.a
February Empties post and I did not empty a lot of products last month
because I've been busy with moving-out process, freelance jobs, et
cetera so I didn't have that much time to diligently apply all my
products. I skipped a lot of products too which now caused an alarming
state on my face, so currently I'm trying to get back to my beauty routines
again so hopefully there would be many empty products by the end of
this month.
Now, to start things up, here is my Empty products that I finished last month:
As
you can see, there were not really much products that I finished, and
most of them are sample/travel size too, but at least I managed to
finish three real size products, one sheet mask, and one deluxe
travel size product.
One of the real size product that I managed to binned last month was the Lervia Milk & Honey Shower Cream
that comes in two different formulas. If you can see the bottle is
divided into two sections, the left one is the milk part which is white
in color, and the right side is the honey part which has a "honey" color. Each section has their own opening so you squeeze
them both at the same time to release the same amount of mixed formula.
It's a really unique concept which got me excited at first, but then I
found out that I don't really like the scent that much so it kinda turns
me off a bit at the end. Recommended? Yes -
I would purchase it again but maybe in different scent. Right now I'm
still trying to use up my Honeycat Peach Brandy Shower Gel.
Another shower product that I was actually sad when it's empty was The Body Shop Cranberry Joy Body Scrub which is a favorite of mine. I really love the texture which feels like you're scrubbing your skin with the actual berries itself (because it looks and feels natural on skin). I also love the scent of Cranberry Joy which is TBS's christmas scent. Recommended? Yes - To replace this I am now using another favorite of mine which is the Ovale Balinese Milk Scrub (Lulur Bali) and the Rainforest Coffee & Cacao Body Scrub which is only a little bit left now.
Another
full size product that I finished is the Wetz Green Tea Wet Wipes which
is actually just a fancy wet wipes. It's pretty nice compared to other
wipes and it's natural, alcohol-free, and has antiseptic too. Recommended? Yes - I actually don't know why I put wet wipes in this empty bin because I usually don't ;p
I also finally used up my one and only My Beauty Diary Southern France Apricot Face Mask which is a sheet mask that felt ultra comfy on my face. My Beauty Diary is a Korean brand which is famous for their face masks. Recommended? Yes - I want to try more variants from My Beauty Diary but I still have a lot of other sheet masks to finish off first.

A tiny sachet sample that I used up last month is the Estee Lauder
Advanced Night Repair which I got several sachets from one of my Vanity Trove box. I
actually have tried this night serum many years ago and didn't find
anything special from it, but I'm willing to try them again now, hoping
that maybe they have renew the formula or something.
In skincare section I used up a couple of sample size items such as the Skin Food Omija Whitening Emulsion and Tea Toner set
that I got from my October Lolabox. Although these are quite small but I
managed to use them several times and really love how the formula feels
on my combination skin. Recommended? Yes -
I think I would like to try the full size version of this Omija
Whitening but I still have to finish my current face serums and toners
first.
Another travel size is the Clarins Extra-Firming Day Cream
which I also like because it has SPF in it so if I forgot to put extra
sunscreen at least I'm covered with the SPF in this face cream. The
formula is also friendly for my combination skin. Recommended? Yes -
I'm not sure if I would buy the full size in the future because Clarins
are quite pricey and I still prefer their Hydra-quench range, but right
now I am using my newly purchased Wardah Lightening Day Cream to replace this with.
In bodycare section I finished off the L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream
which I found a little bit too thick for my liking (although it absorbs
very well). I also prefer hand creams with more noticeable scents. Recommended? Yes
- If you love shea butter scent which is just like a subdued "neutral"
scent, then I recommend this for you. To replace this I'm now using my
3W Snail Hand Cream which is one of my current favorite ;)
Lastly, the only hair care product that I finished last month: Clear Anti Hairfall Daily Scalp Tonic. This is one of my hair care essentials to help with my severe hair fall problem. I love this tonic which is so easy to use and absorbs really well to the roots of my hair. I also like the subtle scent and I even put this on my Favorite product list ;) - Recommended? Yes. I'm planning to repurchase this soon but right now I'm using the Lucido L Triple Beauty Vitamin Spray for Hair before I buy a new one.
That's it for my February Empties.
