SEPTEMBER Favorites
3:33:00 AM
After my Empties post yesterday, now it's time for my Monthly Favorites post for the month of September.
They
are mostly consists of skincare and body care products this time
because I was traveling a couple of times last month and my skin and
face needed some TLC after all the trips and activities that I
undertook. Although most of them are new-to-me products but there are
also a couple of old time favorites in there ;)
This Works Deep Sleep Shower Gel [Reviewed Here]
This is my go-to shower gel whenever I need to go to sleep early or when I want to really rest and have a quality sleep at night. Some people might question about whether a shower gel can really help you sleep but the answer is yes, at least it helps to soothe and relax your mind and body so it helps you drift off to sleep more easily, and it also seems to help me sleep more soundly.
Valenno Papaya Whitening Exfoliating Gel [Reviewed Here]
After trying it for the first time I fell in love instantly with this product. The texture is quite different than all the face scrubs I've tried before, it feels like a traditional body scrub where you will see those dirt come off your skin, therefore I really feel the exfoliation process on my skin. You should read my review to understand what I'm talking about here :)
Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes, and Lips
This is no doubt my holy grail eye makeup remover everrrr!! I've been using this product for over 2 years now and it is my second bottle. I use it very sparingly to clean my eye makeup only. I also have another travel size of this product which I carry with me for my travels. This get rid of any eye makeup I used in a jiffy, including the most heavy duty mascara and kohl liners.
Herbal Essences Touchable Moisture Rinse Off Treatment
I've talked before about how hair conditioner and myself are never best friend because I've tried numerous conditioners and all of them just weigh my hair down. But not this one for sure! I think I finally found the first hair conditioner that can work well with my hair. It gives me volume, softness and bouncy hair that lasts for days! A total love.
Made From Earth Peppermint Parsley Soap Bar [Reviewed Here]
This is a natural soap bar with a gritty built-in scrubs in it. I super love this soap bar ever since I tried it a while ago. Even my husband is really liking this soap too. The minty scent is refreshing and the scrubby texture is awesome when in contact with the skin. Makes my skin feels clean without leaving any residue.
V10 Makeup Remover Wipes
Another new found love, these wipes totally beat my current favorite Shikada makeup wipes! These V10 wipes really lifts off makeup and all that dirt easily. It makes the Shikada one seems quite weak in removing layers of makeup if compared with this V10 wipes. This one also doesn't dry my skin like the Shikada sometimes do.
Nivea Night Whitening Body Serum [Reviewed Here]
Another new favorite is this Nivea body serum which I'm using as a body lotion for night. Ever since I tried it on when the Nivea team sent me, I fell in love with this product. I really like the sweet calming scent as well as the fast absorbing lotion. Also, it seems to keep my skin hydrated for a really long time. Scored!
Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Camomile Deep Cleansing Cream
At first I felt a little bit weird when I tried this because it felt like washing your face with a minty toothpaste. Yep, that's the first reaction when I tried it on because it's really minty and the formula also resemble a toothpaste (;p) But then I found myself liking it more and more because my face feels really fresh and clean after every wash. I also seems to enjoy the weird sensation it gave me ^o^
Now, that's it for my September Favorites..
