I've been diligently trying to finish my products lately and that explains the many products I featured on my previous Empties posts. Last month I successfully emptied quite many products too, so I'm really excited! (emptying products makes me happy and feel satisfied, LOL).
Last month, I didn't just empty some full size and travel size products but I also throw away a couple of products that were way past its expiration date. Now let's see how much products I managed to binned this time ...
LUX Fresh Splash Body Wash
I was sent a box full of Lux big size bottles the other day and this is one of them. I used this one together with my husband so that we can finished it more quickly. This one smells good but it's not my favorite scent from the Lux bodycare. My hubby loves it though (;p). [READ HERE]
Taman Sari Royal Heritage Foot Scrub Gel
I had this one for a really long time and I'm glad I finally finished this off! It's not my favorite formula but it does the job well enough to get rid of dead skin and gave my feet a cleaner appearance ;) I also love the professional looking packaging and this scrub can be used either wet or dry so it's quite practical.
NOTE: I may not repurchase this again because I think there are other foot scrubs that are better than this one, especially now that I'm trying Freeman Bare Foot Peppermint + Plum Foot Scrub which is super Awesome!
Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil in Light
I like using cleansing oil to remove makeup because it's practical and this is a cheaper solution to the Shu Uemura ones. This one does the job really well and I always make sure to follow through with another face wash to get rid all the traces of makeup and dirt. [REVIEWED HERE]
Etude House Aloe Moistfull Soothing Gel
This has been my favorite moisturizer because it feels good on my skin especially when it's dry, and the formula absorbs quickly without leaving any residue on the skin surface. This also goes well with my makeup so I used this as my daily moisturizer. [REVIEWED HERE]
NOTE: I love the Etude House Moistfull range because I think it's great for my combination skin. I'm not sure if the range is still available but if it does I would love to repurchase any product from the range.
Ellips Hair Vitamin Capsules in Smooth & Shiny
This is super duper old but I think it's still good because it was packed inside an air-tight capsules. I used the capsule by breaking them and slather all over my strands focusing on the ends of my strands. This used to not work well with my hair but now that I'm using Watsons Honey Treatment Shampoo it seems to work together really well. [MENTIONED HERE]
Revlon Age Defying Cream Makeup
This is one of the product that I have to throw away because it's past its expiry date. This foundation is alright for night time use, but I won't recommend using it for daytime use especially if you have oily skin. I felt that it melts on my skin during a hot day but when I used it at night time it looks and feels flawless.
Makeover Ultra Cover Liquid Matt Foundation #04 Amber Rose
This is also one of the products that I have to throw away because it already expired. I was sad when I have to throw this out because I love this foundation. It goes on soft and smooth on the skin, creating a flawless skin and a perfect base for makeup. It's also buildable so you can wear it thin for daily use or you can wear it thicker for a more formal look.
Yankee Candle in Home Sweet Home
This was one of those candle that smells good when it's not burned, but when it's lit the scent didn't come out as good. I've been using it for my kitchen because the scent is more like a warm earthy scent that I think would be suitable to mask those kitchen smells.
NOTE: I won't repurchase this scent again but I'd love to try some new ones for my kitchen.
Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel
This travel size moisturizer is one of my fave because it sinks in fast, it has high spf and it goes well as the base of my makeup. Basically I love Skin Aqua products!
NOTE: I might repurchase it someday but right now I'm using Olay Natural Light Fairness Cream for my travel moisturizer.
Garnier Sakura White Pinkish Radiance Sleeping Essence
This is a night cream/moisturizer and I like this one because it smells good and the texture felt really nice on the skin. I'm not sure if it gives me that pinkish radiance (because I have tan skin) but overall this is a really nice night moisturizer.
NOTE: To replace this, right now I'm using Avene Skin Recovery Cream for my night moisturizer.
Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Mascara
I love this mascara for lengthening my lashes. I usually put on a thickening mascara first and then layered it with this one to add some extra lengths to my lashes.
Maybelline The Magnum Volum Express Mascara
This is my favorite mascara because it thickens as well as curled my lashes really well. This is one of Maybelline mascara you should try ;) [REVIEWED HERE]
Maybelline Fashion Brow 24Hr Coloring Mascara in Dark Brown
This is a brow mascara so you will get a tube with a wand just like a mascara. The tip of the wand is very unique because it's round. You sweep it on your eyebrows to fill and create a nice looking brows. I think this brow mascara is not for newbie because it is a little bit harder to handle. L'Occitane Rose 4Reines Hand Cream
Nothing special, just an ordinary hand cream to me ;)
Dior Snow BB Cream
I've had this a long time ago and been using it for my travel bb cream. I love this bb cream because of the smooth texture, the flawless result and the high SPF!
NOTE: If it weren't so pricey I would def repurchase it, but right now I'm using Skin79 Diamond BB Cream (which I don't like) to replace this.
Clarins UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection
This is a really nice sunscreen for the face and it didn't give a white wash on the face when photographed ;)
Clarins White Plus Intensive Brightening Serum
This is also a nice serum from Clarins. I like Clarins products and I think they carry a lot of great products in the high-end range.
Astalift Essence Destiny
This was my night serum but I'm not sure if I really did get anything different from this serum because I couldn't tell. I felt nothing different on my skin...
Skin79 Super Whitening BB Cream
I bought a set of mini Skin79 BB Creams and this is one of the BB Cream that I like from the set. It works well with my combination skin and it has medium coverage.
V10 Makeup Remover Wipes
This doesn't need any explanation because I featured this a lot in my Empties post ;)
Shikada Facial Cleansing Wipes
This also doesn't need any explanation again because this is another repeat from my previous Empties posts ;)
Innisfree It's Real Bamboo Mask
I love Innsifree sheet masks and this is the last one I have in my stock. I like this Bamboo one because it feels cooling and very moisturizing on my skin.
Korean brand Collagen Lip Mask
I don't know the exact brand because it's all in Korean language but it's a collagen lip mask which is actually very unique because it is shaped just like a lip. I don't really see the benefit in these collagen lip mask though, but I do find them moisturize my drying lips quite well.
Daily Fresh 17 Cereals Wash-Off Pack
This unique face mask is an old stock so you might not see them anymore on the market. This is a wash-off type so you put this on your face and then wash it off after a few minutes. I think it does makes my face glows a little bit after using this one ;p
That's it for my last month's Empties. In summary I have successfully finished 15 full size products + 7 travel size products + 2 expired products = 24 products in total! Not bad (*grin*). Now let's see if I can finished more products by the end of this month ;)
