Today is my mother's birthday so Happy Birthday Mom!

Anyway, I haven't been doing this kind of post for quite a while so here it goes ...

These are some of the outfit I wore during the past few weeks. I think I'm drawn towards "casual chic" lately. Currently I love loose-fit cutting and relax style clothing. I'm also trying to incorporate items that I haven't-been-using-for-a-long-time into my daily outfit. Example: bags that I seldom use such as the Zucca Fendi handbag that I recently acquired a few months ago but haven't been using much yet. And I'm also trying to use more scarf because I have many scarves that I never used (;p).








This week my style has been pretty much the same, with addition of some comfy sweaters and cardies because it's been raining non-stop these last few days. My shopping wish list include : new T-shirts and scarf. I wanted more casual t-shirts that's fun and lively just like the Mango "Last Casual Tshirt" one above. I also wanted to add some designer scarves into my collection (the vintage route, of course).

Yes, I've been converted into a #crazybaglady - and it all started about 2 years ago. My love for clothes would always be number one, but now the bags and luxury accessories have taken the number 2 place on my heart. I was once asked which bag that I used the most out of my whole bag collection. Well, the answer is obvious : my Longchamp Le Pliage Tote Bag.

Longchamp is a French luxury leather goods company and is primarily known for its leather and canvas handbags, its travel items, and numerous fashion accessories. The brand has been around since 1948 and founded in paris by Jean Cassegrain. Longchamp's most popular item is their iconic Le Pliage tote bags.


The Longchamp Le Pliage Tote Bag comes in different sizes and types, including many array of colors that you can choose from. It basically comes in three sizes (small, medium, large) - and it also comes in two different handle strap (short and long).

I hope this explanation would help those who are still confuse and seeking for information about the different sizes of the Le Pliage. In short explanation, the sizes available would be like this :

- Small size with short handle
- Small size with long handle

- Medium size with short handle
- Medium size with long handle

- Large size with short handle
- Large size with long handle


The small/medium/large Size determines the size of the bag. Mine is the Large one, and the small size is very small like a mini handbag, while the medium size falls in-between.

The short/long Handle describe how long the handle strap is. The short handle is just like a handheld bag where you can only hold it with your hands. The long handle is like a shoulder bag.

This week I've been lusting for long-sleeves. I have an upcoming mini-getaway trip next week to a mountainous area so I'm gonna need a few long-sleeves to combat the cold weather there. I haven't started packing but instead I'm browsing websites for cute long-sleeves (^_^).

I found several long-sleeve blouses and light sweaters that I like from a website called Dresslily. It's the kind of website that offers everything from fashion items to accessories (bags, shoes), jewelry, watches, even wigs!

I've been browsing them a lot and saw some really good clothes offered there. The style ranging from simple, romantic, to edgy and sexy. Whatever your style is, I think you can find it on their website. Online window-shopping is such a fun activity, (Lol). But now let's get back to our "long-sleeves" talk, and here are a few of my choices from Dresslily that I would put into my lust list today :

I love spending time browsing the internet for clothing items and making my own lust list. It's also a way to see what's currently in trend on the fashion platform.

Long-sleeves like these are perfect for rainy days or for colder weather. I live in the tropics so I don't need bulky thick sweaters because we don't have winter here. But a nice long-sleeve is a staple in the wardrobe because we do have rainy season and we also have mountainous places and cities with colder weather here. I also always wear long-sleeves when I go to cinema because I can't stand the cold air-conditioner inside the cinema.

I have mentioned before that I wanted to start building a collection of designer items because :
{1} I came to realize that the quality and craftsmanship of these goods are very superb. They can last a long time and you will get your money's worth eventually.
{2} The preloved market is still huge so you can sell these goods for a very good price even though it's already a few years old (sometimes with classic items such as the LV Speedy bag you can sell them in almost the same price as you bought it - as long as it's in very good condition & complete package).
{3} For classic items you can even worn them for years and years, and even hand it down to your daughter or granddaughter (!) and it would still retain it's luxury name.

So I decided to build my collection (although very slowly - because I don't have a lot of money), and I treated them as an investment as well as a personal collection. It started 2 years ago and it has been going on very slowly, lol. But last year I was blessed to be able to add several items to my growing designer collection. This list is for my personal use only :
