From My Stash: Face Mask

Once every week or once every 2 weeks (or whenever I'm not too lazy to put it on) I usually would add a face mask into my skincare routine. I used to regularly put face mask between my weekly skincare routine, but lately I don't do it so often. Sometimes I just simply forget to use face mask, but most of the time I'm just too lazy to put on the mask because I hate the cleaning up process, especially with those clay / mud masks.
But nonetheless, I still have several face masks on my vanity which I used in rotation. My face masks collection consists of a few different type of masks because I have combination skin. So to cater my skin's dual condition I need different type of face masks, such as the ones specifically made for oily skin condition, the ones for dry skin, etc etc ...
I also have a box full of sheet masks which I use mostly at night before bed, but I don't include them on this post because there would be a looong list if I mention them one by one (^o^). So without further ado, here are all the face masks I have in my stash so far :

Glamglow Youth Mud Mask

L'Occitane Instant Hydration Mask
This is a hydrating mask meant for dry skin. It's a clear gel mask that would re-hydrate the most thirsty skin in just 3 minutes! I love this one because it only take 3 minutes and the cleaning process is very easy. You just need to wipe it off with a damp cloth or with a micellar water + cotton pads.
Brittanie's Thyme French Green Clay with White Tea
French Green Clay is highly efficient at drawing oils and toxins from the skin. The high minerals exfoliate and stimulate blood circulation to the skin. While White Tea is rich with antioxidants and effective in treating acne. I love a good deep mask like this one but it's a hassle to use because I need to mix it with water first (I use rosewater). But I always have a clay mask on hand to detox and pamper my skin.
Freeman Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask
A nutrient rich face mask with dead sea minerals and sea salts that help replenish and balance moisture while purging clogged pores. I use this as a balancing mask, usually I put this on when my skin is acting out. The unique blue-paste makes me look like Smurfette (from the Smurf) when I'm using it, (lol). But it smells nice and help clear pores and smooths skin appearance.
Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Mask
This one contains 100% herbal actives, perfect for oily or acne-prone skin because it helps reduce acne and balance the oil on our skin. This mask is also infused with Nimba as antibacterial agent that also helps control acne and clogged pores. It smells like jamu or herbal concoction which makes me believe in the natural herbal power even more ;)
Elizabeth Arden Hydrating Mask
Another face mask for dry skin, this mask gives hydration to parched skin. It feels smooth and luxurious upon application and it smells just like a spa! This is my favorite when I need a "me time" - where I just lay down and relax for a few minutes. The end result is also very nice, making my skin supple and soft and fresh looking.

glam glow itu sebenarnya worth it gak sih buat dibeli, mahalnya super, kecil2 menyengsarakan XD;; apakah bener bisa bikin beneran kinclong kayak supermodel? Atau cuma "katanya" aja? Mau beli tuh maju mundur cantik gitu deh, sayang soalnya kalau ternyata hasilnya sama aja kayak innisfree super jeju di rumah uhuhuhu **galau berkepanjangan**
ReplyDeleteHihihi dilema banget emang mer kalo yg kaya gini. Produknya bagus tapi harganya mahal. Kalo buat gue sndiri oke sih muka langsung jadi kinclong dan kalo kurang tidur pun muka jadi kaya seger aja gitu abis pake ini. Trus makeup juga aplikasinya jadi smooth banget. Worth it atau nggak nya sih tergantung kebutuhan kali yee.. Kalo sering pergi2 atau sering acara gitu tapi suka ga sempet treatment ya lumayan worth it kali ya pake ini langsung kinclong soalnya muka dan makeup juga jadi nempel banget. Tapi kalo dirasa kurang butuh ya mending pake innsifree super jeju yg juga bisa bikin muka cerah hehe
