[ What's In My Bag ] : Weekend Edition
2:50:00 AMAs you might have read on my previous posts I just recently starting to change my skincare routine into a more effective one. Right now I'm still trying to finish off some of my older skincare products while slowly adding new product one at a time so that my skin would not be confused. Meanwhile, I'm also trying to be diligent with my skincare routine while I'm traveling or staying over some place else.
All this time I always neglect my skincare routine whenever I'm staying over or when I'm on holiday. It was just too much for me to be hassled with skincare routine whenever I'm holiday-ing. I know it's bad habit but I just don't really care doing proper skincare when I'm staying out of town or relaxing over the weekend at my parents house.
But hopefully that would not be the case anymore... Because I have promised myself to be more diligent with my skincare routine and will do it every day with no excuse, even when I'm traveling or staying over. I could not skip skincare routine, wherever I am! *scout's honor*
So recently I begin to bring a more complete skincare products in my travel beauty pouch. I dig my stash for travel size and sample size items that I can bring with me in my travel pouch. It's one of the reason why I love collecting travel size items, because this is where they come in handy :)
What's In My Travel Skincare Pouch :
Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion
At first I thought I don't really like this body lotion but now I grew to like it. My bedroom in my parents house has a very cold and humid air-conditioner so I need some creamy lotion to keep my skin from drying out. This body lotion did just that. The formula is enriched with skin-softening milk and naturally nourishing honey. I like how this lotion keeps my skin moisturized under the humid air-con temperature. This has been my go-to body lotion for traveling :) - Read my Review HERE.
Bath & Body Works Fragrance Mist in Twilight Woods
Aside from the bigger BBW body mist I always bought them in small sizes too, so I can bring it for traveling. This Twilight Woods has an enticing blend of apricot nectar, mimosa petals, and Tuscan cypress. To my nose this smells very lovely. It falls between woodsy and sweet aromatic scent to me.
Rudy Hadisuwarno Intensive Repair Serum
I love this hair serum (mentioned in this post). This serum is infused with argan oil and pomegranate extract to protect and revitalize hair. I used this after I washed my hair. It gives good result and my hair would be more manageable with this hair serum.
Bioderma Hydrabio Brume
I mentioned this several times here in my blog so I figured you are now already familiar with this face mist :) This is so far the best face mist I've ever tried because the mist is so fine and wouldn't make your face feels "wet". (Read my review HERE).
Kiehls Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner
I had this for a long time but still hasn't finished the small bottle. Maybe because I don't think it did anything to my skin so I stopped using it. But now I am determined to finish this up so I can go and buy a new toner ;)
NYX The Blue Lip Gloss
I also had this in my stock for a long time, I'm not sure if I can still use this but I didn't find any irregularities or a change in the formula so I will keep using this. It said the blue gloss would make your smile brighter, although I don't think it really works (;p).
Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream
This is a unique facial wash because it's very minty. It's a bit weird to feel the strong mint all over my face. But after a couple of usage I got used to it and I think this works fine with my skin. It left my skin clean and refreshed afterward. In fact, I'm thinking of buying it again ;) - Read my Review HERE.
Olay Natural White Insta-Glowing Fairness Cream
This is my "Day" moisturizer for when I'm traveling or staying over. I like the texture and formula of this one, and it contains SPF too. Also, this doesn't interfere with my makeup so I can wear this under makeup perfectly.
Alpha H Liquid Gold
I forgot I had this one in my stash and I wanted to introduce acid into my routine so I try to bring this liquid gold with me on my travel skincare pouch. The liquid gold is a powerful resurfacing and firming treatment for diminishing wrinkles, pigmentation and sun damage. It has glycolic acid that you need to exfoliate your skin, and this is to be worn once a week or every other day (depending on your skin condition).
Garnier Multi Action Night Restore Whitening Cream
I bought this in the smallest size because I meant to use this as my travel "Evening" moisturizer. Actually I just browsed around the drugstore aisle looking for a small-size night moisturizer, and this is the only one I found. So I bought it and been using it as my travel night lotion. This has pure lemon essence, fruit extracts, and vitamin C+ so it is supposed to help with brightening the skin. So far I quite enjoyed using this. (Read the Garnier Light Complete series HERE).
Hugs and Kissies,
