Yes I know I just posted a haul post yesterday and yet today I posted another haul story hehe ... What can I say? I'm just an ordinary girl who happens to be a recurring shopaholic (;p).

Anyway, if you're my old follower (thankyou!) you would notice that I changed the layout of my blog again. Yes, I've been changing them back and forth for the last several months but that was because I wasn't satisfied with it. I have always wanted a clean white background look for my blog so I think I finally found a layout theme that I liked now. This is my best layout theme so far, so I hope there'll be no more layout changing in the next several months (;p).
Unfortunately I just found out that there are still some minor bugs that I have to fix, in example: for some reasons the comments do not shows in this layout, so I'm really sorry if you can't write comments. I hope this problem is just temporary and I hope I can fix it in a couple of days (or maybe next week).


Meanwhile, let's go to the actual post! 

Althea is (straightly quoted from the website): South East Asia's largest online Korean beauty store with the lowest prices shipped directly from Korea. So basically they are an e-commerce based in Korea, selling Korean beauty products and ships internationally. They just recently launched here in Indonesia by giving big promotion and discount offers. 

Their Indonesian webpage is at http://id.althea.kr/. And there you can find a variation of promotion and discount offers that changes every other day. They also offer many products from lots of different Korean brands that are not available locally here in Indonesia. So if you're a big fan of K-Beauty or if you're just venturing into Korean beauty/skincare/makeup you might wanna check out Althea because they carry a lot of stuffs on their website.

I made a purchase last month and the package came within 10 days (but I heard now they took longer to arrived due to the overwhelming response) and there was no extra tax fee that I had to pay. The package came wrapped in a hot pink / fuchsia wrapper with Althea sticker on it (as you can see above). 

Underneath the wrapping I found a simple pink cardboard box that contains all of my purchases inside, each product individually and thickly wrapped with bubble wrapper. I really like the overall packaging, from the fuchsia wrap to the pink box. With boxes like this you can always re-used the box because it's sturdy and it looks nice for extra storage or as gift boxes.

My overall shopping experience at Althea is really nice. Everything went smooth, from the ordering process to payment system to the delivery of package. There are many things to choose from and they cover quite a lot of varieties on their website. Everything was also securely packed so there was no spill or broken product when the package arrived at my door step.

One thing to note, the problem with International e-commerce is usually the international shipping fee. Althea offers Free Shipping for minimal purchase of Rp 500,000 >> BUT Right now they are offering a Free Shipping for minimal purchase of Rp 299,999 only !!

I did my purchase before the recent shipping fee promo takes place, so I had to shop for a minimal of Rp 500,000 to be eligible for a free shipping. So if you want to shop from Althea, NOW is the right time to shop because the minimal purchase is reduced to around 300,000 only. OR you can also ask your friends to do a joint-shopping so that you can reach the minimal purchase for free shipping.

I needed a new essence because I am almost out of my SecretKey Starting Treatment Essence, hence the need to pick up the Guerisson essence. I also needed a new toner in smaller bottle to bring to my parents house where I stayed every weekend so I picked out the Face Shop Rice toner which I am always curious about. Last but not least, I've been thinking that I need a balm cleanser to bring with me when I'm traveling by plane, so that I won't have to bring my liquid cleansing gel or micellar water. Oh, and the April Skin is my first ever cushion (yes I'm late with the trend).

I might do a separate post later on to review some of the products mentioned above. Meanwhile, I'm gonna head back to my late lunch and enjoy the rest of my day !
