So what did you decide to wear for Ied day ?
I had a busy Eid celebration this year so I ended up with four outfit changes for four different days. Here's what I wore for the Eid weekend :
Wearing | Jumputan Kaftan (handmade) from Almari Etnik (via IG) + Elle Wedges
Accs | Necklace from Etsy (c/o) + Marks & Spencer pink stud earrings
+ Purple Pearl Ring from Lombok + Longchamp Le Pliage Small Tote Bag in Beige
Eid day 1 - We spent it in Jakarta, dividing our time between my family and my husband's family. I purchased this handmade kaftan online made from traditional Jumputan fabric. The seller created handmade beautiful kaftans like this and sell it online at @almarietnik via IG.
If you follow my IG (@yurikristia) you would noticed that I am loving Indonesia's traditional fabrics lately. So it's no wonder that this kaftan made of Jumputan Fabric (a traditional fabric from Palembang) obviously snatched my attention. I have always love Jumputan fabric and so I'm glad I own one of them now.
Wearing | Kamilaa by Itang Yunasz maxi dress + Elle Wedges + Louis Vuitton Neverful Tote
Accs | Necklace from Etsy (c/o) + Random brand Braided Belt
+ Marks & Spencer pink stud earrings + Purple Pearl Ring from Lombok
Eid Day 2 & 3 were spent in Bandung (my husband's parents hometown). We spent day 2 visiting families from house to house, and went back to our hotel late at night.
For Eid day 2 I chose to wear my new chiffon flowy maxi dress from Itang Yunasz that I got on a discount price via Zalora app. I love how flowy the dress is and how the thin fabric makes it cool and breezy even though I wore it all day. Although it's made of thin flowy fabric but it is lined inside. And though I already ordered the small size it is still a bit big on my petite frame so I had to "shape it" a little bit with a skinny belt ;)
Eid Day 3
Wearing | Embroidered Maxi Dress via Matahari Dept Store
+ Elle Wedges + Louis Vuitton Neverful + Coach Phone Case
Accs | Garnet Stud Earrings & Necklace - heirloom from Mom
For Eid Day 3 I wore an embroidered maxi dress that I got from Matahari flag store at Kemang Village. This dress got the most compliments from all the other #EidOutfit I wore this year. It is just a simple long sleeve dress with bohemian-style-red-embroidery over a black maxi. The arms has a little balloon-ish shape to it and it is gathered at the end so I can pull it up to below my elbow or let it sit on the edge of my wrist. It also has long tassels at the front which I think makes it more boho-chic looking. Probably one of my favorite dress too!
To complete the look I wore the Elle wedges again (because I only brought those pairs to Bandung) and also my LV Neverful tote bag (I'm preparing a review in bahasa for this bag so stay tune please).
Eid Day 4
Wearing | The Executive Blouse + The Executive Pants
+ Elle Wedges + Longchamp Le Pliage (SSH) in Beige
Accs | Stud Earrings from H&M + Freshwater Pearl Ring from Lombok
Lastly for Eid Day 4 I visited my Mom's family in Jakarta. I went with my cousins so it's a pretty much laid back family reunion. I chose another ensemble from Matahari dept store via Kemang Village (which I think has a more nice selections compared to other Matahari locations). I purchased the maxi embroidered dress for Eid day 3 (previous picture above) and also these blouse + pants set from The Executive, both from Matahari flag store in Kemang Village.
The Executive is known for their high quality fashion products and sleek formal cuttings (which I like). And they seems to have a lot of sales going on these days. I think almost every time I saw The Executive counters at the mall they seem to always have sales going on. I hope they're not closing out (as I remember Crocs used to have sales all the time before they're eventually closed for good).
Anyway, I chose these blouse + pants set that I saw on one of the mannequins at their counter. Matahari has a discount voucher that you can use only at the same day, so I used up those vouchers to buy this set. A printed blouse with flared sleeves, and a straight black pants (because a girl always need a straight black pants). To accessorize the look I chose my new Elle wedges again and my mini Longchamp Le Pliage which I adorned with Laduree keychain.
That's it girls...
See you on my next fashion post!
Hugs & Kissies,
