7 Days Of Sheet Masks (DAY 1) : MY BEAUTY DIARY Black Pearl Mask
2:50:00 PM
Haven't been posting my old "monthly face mask" posts for a while.. It used to be a "weekly face mask" post, then due to my lack of writings it became "monthly face mask" post. And I don't want to change it again to "yearly face mask" posts, it'd be awful 😅
So anyway, to make up for it, I'm thinking of writing a "7 days of Sheet Masks" series because I did a similar skincare routine a while back, using one sheet mask a day, and it turned out to be a savior for my skin.
1. No:Hj Aqua Soothing Face mask
2. Etude House Korean Strawberry Mask
3. Etude House Pearl Mask
4. Etude House Rice Mask
5. Bio Essence Birds Nest Nutri Collagen & Whitening Mask
6. My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol Mask
7. My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Mask
And, let's start with Day 1 face mask (in no particular order) :
My Beauty Diary Black Pearl Mask
First of all, let's see what the packaging says :
"Optimal whitening, brightening, and moisturizing. Supreme black pearl essence from Tahiti is rich in vitamins, minerals & amino acids that will rejuvenate tired dull skin".
Aside from the Tahitian black pearl essence, this sheet mask is also formulated with yeast protein and lemon extract to tone and brighten the skin, also deep sea red algae and sugar cane essence that provides hydration and immediate relief to dry skin.
This sheet mask has plastic-backed sheet with a very transparent material that fits rather small for my already-small face. It also has an abundant of essences! The sheet itself was very wet and moist, and it left a lot of essence in the packaging once you pull out the sheet mask so you can use the essence left for extra layer of moisture or use it on other parts of your body that needs extra treatment such as your neck or hands.

I basically like sheet masks that has some extra essence in the packaging but I don't like it as much when there's too much essence left, because I hate throwing away products. I also not fond of sheet masks that has too many essence that makes it drips (i hate dripping sheet masks, ugh!). And this one drips a lot! Although some people might like it because it means it got more moisture but I personally hates sheet masks that drips.
It felt a bit warm on my skin at first application, and it also has that tingly sensation when i put it on the first time. But all of that subdued rather quickly and it felt moisturizing and comfortable enough sitting on my face for 15-20 minutes.
Overall this sheet mask does gives you brightening and moisturizing effect, and I also used the abundant essence left inside the packet for my neck, hands, and feet (Yes the essence was that abundant I can literally cover my face, neck, arms, and legs!). So whether or not I would repurchase this? Hmm probably I won't, because I hate dripping masks. But other than that it is a great sheet mask for moisturizing and brightening properties.
Happy Sheet-Masking !
