7 Days of Sheet Masks (DAY 2) : MY BEAUTY DIARY Apple Polyphenol Mask
3:10:00 PM
If you haven't read my previous post, I wrote about my 7 DAYS OF SHEET MASKS skincare routine that I did a while back. Those of you who followed me on Instagram (@yurikristia) might already seen it on my IG timeline, but I thought I'd write a more detailed review here on the blog too for those of you who doesn't have Instagram (but you should have Instagram, Lol).
So anyway, if you want to see my sheet mask pick for Day 1 of the "7 Days of Sheet Masks" you can click here, and here is my pick for Day 2 (although this sheet mask review is in no particular order, meaning : I actually forgot which sheet mask I used for day 1, day 2, and so on. So I just put individual sheet mask review here on the blog in no particular order).
My Beauty Diary Apple Polyphenol Mask
According to the package it says : "Tightening pores, brightening, and clarifying. With apple polyphenol that is enriched with vitamins and purifying elements that improve the skin's oil-water balance and minimize pores."
The formula of the mask is meant to calm the skin, normalizes skin sebum regulation, and helps maintain skin's ph balance for a refined flawless complexion. It is also formulated with roselle extract for protection against environmental damage, and aloe vera extract for hydration properties.
The mask itself has medium amount of moisture and wetness, with some essences left in the packaging too which you can use for your arms and neck as well. If you read my previous Day 1 sheet mask choice (the Black Pearl sheet mask), the mask drips a lot because it has abundant essence, and I hate wet dripping mask because it would drip and ruin my clothes, my sofa, my bed, all over the place whether I'm sitting or sleeping on my bed. So I hate those kind of masks. But this one, although it came from the same brand : "My Beauty Diary", but this one doesn't drip. Maybe because it has medium amount of essence compared to the other one that has a large amount of essence. So I prefer this Apple Polyphenol one instead of the Black Pearl one.
What about the formula? Well although it says "brightening, clarifying, and pore tightening" on the packaging, I can't say that it's brightening enough but it sure does clarifies my skin. And I think I did noticed a slight shrinking on my pores after using this sheet mask, or I might just be imagining things 😛
