[Make-Up] : ANGEL / JO-JO Curved Brush
4:21:00 PM
Lately I love purchasing new makeup brushes because I'm getting tired of always washing my brushes too often, so I figured I should buy more brushes so that I have more replacements when my main brushes are getting dirty, so that I won't have to wash them so often 😝
I was also in need of a new brush for my weekly stay over at our parents. I wanted a smaller size brush that I can bring with me in my travel pouch so I purchased this brush from Century a while ago. I was also interested with the curve shape of the brush and it was not expensive at all so that’s why I decided to buy it to try it out.
The unique shape of the brush makes me curious, and I also love collecting cute and unique brushes lately (such as mermaid brushes and the wizard’s wands brushes - more of these soon!). And this curved brush was also high on my list because I thought this would be useful and the curve would make it easier for foundation or powder application.
This is actually a random brand brush and I think you can find this at Century / Watsons and the likes. I'm not sure what's the brand name but the packaging says : "ANGEL / JO-JO Curve Brush.
Initially I thought this brush would just be one of those "fun" item instead of functional item, but I was wrong. When I tried it it for the first time I found out that this brush was actually really nice to use. It has very soft bristles and it wasn't flimsy at all.
The brush looked packed and dense but the bristles were actually very flexible so it can be used for both liquid and powder foundations. So far I have used it with both my Mac compact powder and various BB Creams and Foundie, and I found the brush applicable for them all.

(The brush packaging is on the left, the sheet mask was my other purchase at the same day 😁)
The curvy shape of the brush makes it easier to reach those hard to reach corners and features on our face such as the side of our nose and the jaws. Aaaandd it already comes with its own lid too! So I can bring this in my bag and don't have to worry about it being dirty or ruined. The lid was also made of good plastic material so I think it doesn't look cheap at all.
Another big plus is how affordable the price is ! The price was around IDR 50,000 - 60,000 if I'm not mistaken (because I already threw the receipt so I don't recall the exact price) and the brush is actually quite nice and sturdy and looks good for a brush that price.
For a makeup brush this cheap I can say that this is really worth to buy and try. According to my own experience this brush has become very useful and now I bring it with me in my travel makeup pouch every week.
Overall, I love love love this brush for its affordable price, very functional use, and for how soft and flexible the bristle is. Plus it has its own lid and the size is perfect to bring along, it's rather medium-small and short in length so it fits into my Victoria's Secret makeup pouch. So go ahead and try them on the next time you're in Watsons / Century :)
Hugs n' Kissies,
