So I would always wait for Bath & Body Works SAS (Semi Annual Sale) because that's when they would give big discounts. Like this year they gave out 60% Off on almost all of their products at the store. So that's when I would usually stock up on their big candles :)

As you know, BBW candles are expensive especially the big size candles with 3 wicks. They usually retails for IDR 439,000 so when they're on 60% Sale that's the time to stock up on them, because I think that's the biggest discount you could get from BBW.

Last year I also stocked up on their big candles, and this year I did the same. I specifically came to BBW sale to buy their big candles. This year the prices were also the same, the big jars were on sale for IDR 175,600 (last year it was IDR 175,000 only), the medium jar were IDR 103,600, and the small jar were IDR 38,000 (same as last year). But the small jar were already unavailable at the BBW counter PIM because they already ran out of them so fast during the sale. I only saw TWO of the small candle jars left and they were in the same scent so I didn't buy it.

Also, they were out of the hand sanitizer / hand bac gel at BBW Pim and BBW Kota Kasablanca, the shopgirl told me that someone bought all of them for wedding souvenirs. Oh my....

Anyway, the handsoaps were cheaper this year though. Last year they were IDR 64,000 and this year the handsoaps were IDR 51,600 only (!). The cheapest price of BBW handsoaps I got so far ...

So I decided to purchased 3 candles. Two of the big jars, and one medium jar. I tend to step away from woodsy cologne scents this time because I already have many of those in my candle collection at home, so I was looking for other scent variants instead of the usual woody / mens cologne scents.

First, I picked the Fresh Balsam scent in the medium size. I've heard about Fresh Balsam so many times before I went to BBW. I saw it on different youtubers and BBW collectors in IG and they all mention Fresh Balsam as one of the classic winter scent from BBW. So I got curious as I've never smelled it before. Then when I found it in the rack I smelled it through the jar and I actually was not really fond of the scent, but I was still curious because a lot of people were collecting these. So despite of not really falling in love with the scent I bought it anyway, hoping that when it's lit the scent would be better. And that's why I bought it in medium jar instead because I wasn't sure I would like it.

The two big candles we picked up were the Merry Mistletoe and the Black Cherry Merlot. The Merry Mistletoe has a beautiful design on the jar and it's very winter-y and festive for the holiday season. I also fell in love with the scent when I sniffed it through the jar and it stood out amongst all the other candles I sniffed at the store. So I picked this one up because it stands out to my nose and I kinda liked the minty fresh scent of it.

The Black Cherry Merlot was actually picked up by my hubby and when I sniffed it out of the jar I immediately fell in love with it too. It smells soooo gooood, I picked it up immediately and put it in our shopping bag without much thinking, Lol.

Then when I saw that the handsoaps were down to IDR 51,600 (the cheapest price so far from BBW handsoaps) I started looking for a couple of new handsoaps to stock up. There are lots of lovely scents from the handsoaps collection and it was a little bit hard sorting them into just 2 scents that I liked the most, but after about 15 minutes contemplating I decided on these two handsoaps : Springtime in Paris & Winter White Woods.

They are both the Foaming hand soaps because we prefer the foamy soaps than the BBW regular handsoaps. And I personally think that the Foaming Hand Soap is more worth the money because you only need one pump for every use, so that means it would last longer than the regular hand soaps.

Lastly, my hubby has been asking to buy a room spray for so long, because we have a small apartment so when I cook the smell would linger in the living room too, so he wanted a room spray which we can easily spray to get rid of odour fast. When we found it in BBW we decided to buy it although they were only available in small size bottle. Our pick is the Sparkling Icicle which has a fresh pine wood scent with airy mountainous feel to it. 

So here are the price points of the stuffs we bought at BBW SaS to see how much we actually saved :

Big jar candle : From IDR 439,000 >>> IDR 175,600

Medium jar candle : From IDR 259,000 >>> IDR 103,600

Handsoaps : From IDR 129,000 >>> IDR 51,600

Room spray : From IDR 125,000 >>> IDR 50,000

So, in total I saved up IDR 912,000 !! WOW 😀😀

Look at how many I saved.. So I think it is worth it to wait for the Semi Annual Sale where they go for 60% discount. And that is the only time to stock up on their big candles because you would save IDR 263,400 OFF the actual price!

One more thing, ...

As I told you earlier I also purchased something from Mango at the same day and the same mall that I purchased the BBW haul above. As soon as we finished shopping at BBW we had a change of plans and were thinking to watch Starwars at the cinema righ then and there. I didn't bring any jacket or sweater and I always get shivering cold inside a cinema so I can not watch cinema without wearing long sleeves or something warm to wrap myself up. So when we unexpectedly changed our plan to watch Starwars I told hubby that I didn't bring any long sleeves. Then he offered me to buy one. Isn't he the nicest? 😀 (God bless his kind soul). He told me that maybe there's a sweater that I'd like in one of the Mall sales, so I went to Mango instead that was also on sale. Zara was too crowded for me and I thought I'd be a good wife and chose the more affordable Mango instead 😛

So I found this cute sweater which was on sale for IDR 199,900 (actual price was above IDR 300k). It was made of thick warm material and has this cute ruffles going on in the side of the arms, so I chose that instead of a thin wool cardigan that I also contemplating to buy. 

Anyway, that's it for my last purchase(s) of 2017 and let's see what would be my first purchase of 2018 (*wink).
