[ Bodycare ] : SABOON Natural Handmade Soap

If you've been following my blog since the beginning then you would probably notice that I love natural soaps. I always prefer natural products whenever possible because they are healthier for our skin and more friendly to the environment too.
I also always suggests using natural soaps to my friends and family who have sensitive skin because they are less aggravating to the skin since they contain minimal to no chemical ingredients.
One of the latest natural soap brands that I’ve been using is Saboon. A local brand actually created by a fellow blogger and her acquaintances. I have been buying their soaps for a few times already because I always love their packaging (as you know I’m a sucker for pretty packaging), and because I love natural handmade soaps like these.
You can see from above photos how cute their packagings are. I bought them at different times and every time they have different packaging. The festive one with bows are for their christmas collection, aren’t they cute?
Anyway I have purchased several of their soaps including the Funfetti Soap, Pumpkin Pie soap, and the Dragon's Blood soap. I also purchased a few others such as Snow Queen soap for gifts. They also always include samples of their soaps so I have tried quite a few of Saboon’s soaps by now.
I’m not gonna review all of the soaps I’ve tried because their formula is similar to each other, what differentiates them are the scent and the way they look (the colors and swirl pattern of each soaps). Basically I like them all but especially enjoyed the Pumpkin Latte and the Dragon’s Blood ones just because they have the most unique presentation :)
So today I’m just gonna review one of them which is the soap I saved up for last : the Dragon's Blood.

Saboon Dragon's Blood Soap
As I told you above, this is a natural soap handmade of natural ingredients. This one has a unique appearance because it's black (!) and it has red swirls as well as gold glitter on top. The soap is black because it contains activated charcoal that's good to clean up your skin. There's also cocoa butter and a combination of incense and baby powder fragrance inside.
The scent is really good and relaxing, it's not over powering like what you get from generic factory-produced soaps. Sometimes those generic brands have over-powered cloying fragrance, right? But these handmade natural soaps have a more subtle scents. You can still smell the nice scent but it won't be too much for your nose.
The texture and formula is quite nice, Although I found that there's a tad bit dryness feel to the skin right after shower but overall they are a nice natural soap and worth to try especially if you like using natural products like me :)
The foam and bubble is of course minimal because that's what you would except from a handmade natural soap. They don't use chemical ingredients so that's why they usually have less bubble or not-soapy-enough textures. But I don't mind not having lotsa bubbles when I shower when I know that most of the bubbles are chemicals, yikes..
Overall, I love the variety of Saboon and how each of them is unique. I also love the different shapes of the products (especially the Pumpkin Spice one that looks like a foamy cake ready to be eaten 😉). Their packaging is also really nice so you can gift them to your friends or sisters. I personally have given Saboon soaps as gifts to my friends and family because they wrap the products beautifully.
