If you follow me on Instagram (@yurikristia) you would probably know that I went to Lembang and visited De Ranch for the second time, and this time was with my in laws family. We also stayed in Savoy Homann in Bandung during our weekend getaway.

De Ranch is a theme playground located in Lembang. It is obviously a "ranch / cowboy" theme 😙 I've been there a couple years ago with my friends and loved how it is such an open field with beautiful trees, and lotsa horses, cows, and many attractions for little kiddos too. And this time I went there again but with my in laws family.

So it is overall a family-oriented place which I think is comfortable and really nice to visit with your family and loved ones. So when we were discussing on where to go I suggested De Ranch again to my in laws family who hasn't been to the place, and I hoped they loved it as much as I do.

So anyway, here are a couple of ootd shots that I have in my camera.
My traveling formula is : "non-fussy outfits". I always opt for "COMFORT" whenever I travel, but without sacrificing style. Well I'm not a person who really follow the trend up to the minute, but I can always try my best. But the key is : to dress comfortable but with a little bit of style. Or at least wear something that would look good in pictures 😊

So for the colder weather trip I of course opted for sweaters because I love wearing sweaters lately due to this bloated stomach I kept on having - in result of eating too much 😓 I choose sweaters that are not too large and not too tight on my body. Basically just a size or a half size bigger than my usual size (so that I can hide my tummy, LOL).

And if I already chose a larger / loose top then I would usually pair it with a more fitted bottom. That's one of my secret formula :

- Loose Top + Fitted Bottom
OR
- Fitted Top + Loose Bottom

It's one of my basic styling formula that I always use no matter what. It really helps with my petite figure because if I stick to that formula I would look more balanced. So you will see that styling formula quite a lot in my ootd shots ;)

I went monochromatic for a day at De Ranch. As you can see I chose a simple casual sweater but I opted for a little bit style with that modern stripes design and gold studs on the collar bone. The gold studs was what makes me fell for this sweater at the store ;p

Then I chose a fitted dark denim from H&M, my trusted black quilted bag from KS (with a detachable long strap so I can wear it cross body like in the photo above), and also my new favorite pair of shoes from Onitsuka Tiger. I have wanted these sneakers for a long time and finally got them after a 2 months wait. 

Anyway, I love wearing bags with long strap during holiday because I can just wear it on the side by hanging it on my shoulder or I can wear it crossbody and my hands would be free. 

Oh and on the last photo you can see the details of the sweater. Aside from gold studs buttons on the collarbone, it also has an obvious knitting pattern that I think adds more oomph to the otherwise casual sweater.

Then in the afternoon we went to Bandung and checked in at our hotel. Previously, we went to have a late lunch at the legendary noodle place - Mie Linggarjati - before going to the hotel. After a quick rest me and hubby decided to walk around the hotel where there's a Saturday night crowd gathered around the Starbucks and Alun-Alun (city park) area.

I didn't bring thicker sweater and it turned out to be a cold night, so I decided to wear hubby's sweater instead. I don't usually borrow hubby's clothes because our size were a lot different. He wears Extra Large while I used to wear Extra Small or Small. So if I wear his clothes I would just be drowned in the fabric, LOL. But this particular sweater of him (from H&M) is a skinny Large size and I actually has grown into a Small to Medium size, so I can wear this one without looking like I'm drowned in fabrics.

Still with my classic formula : wear Loose Top with Fitted Bottom. So I wore this very loose sweater with my Loft legging to keep the whole look still proportionate.

The hotel we stayed at has one of the best breakfast buffet with lots of choices of food and drinks, so we never missed it. Our room was also spacious and comes with a little balcony. The bathroom also has a bathtub so we really enjoyed it. 

After breakfast me and hubby hang out for a little while before packing our bags for check out. We still has to visit our aunt and uncle's house before leaving Bandung, and my mother in law also wanted to stopped by the traditional market first, so we gotta check out of the hotel before noon if we want to leave Bandung before night time.

On the second day I wore the same legging I wore last night for the short evening walk. I only wore it for about 2 hours last night so I wore it again in the morning. Also, if you see I'm wearing the same shoes in all of my ootd that's because I only bring one shoe for this short weekend trip. I always try to minimize the amount of items I brought for holidays and that usually means only 1 or 2 pair of shoes / sandals 😜 I prefer the extra luggage to bring back some holiday shopping / souvenirs, LOL.

Anyway, as you would see in this post my outfit for this trip are all monochromatic, so I'd like to throw in just a little bit of colors to break up the outfit photos. And that's why I bring along this H&M floral sleeveless sheer top. I wore a black random tanktop underneath this top so that I don't flash anybody 😜 The sheer floral top is more of a summer outfit but I made it work for colder weather by layering it with a simple solid color cardigan.

My last outfit of the trip was the one I wore to visit the traditional market and also to visit my aunt and uncle's house before leaving Bandung for Jakarta. Again, I chose for monochromatic outfit in "black n white" manner (another of my favorite color combo!). If you see my Instagram you would notice how I dressed up in black n white a lot ;')

So anyway, I think this is my most favorite outfit of the trip. I felt so sporty in this getup so I decided to wear my hair in a ponytail and wore the bag in my shoulder side to make the overall look more casual :)
