[SKINCARE] : FREEMAN Facial Masks

5:39:00 PM

Currently I have three variants of Freeman face masks that I used in turns, depending on my skin condition. As you will see in the photo below I still have the old packaging ones. They have new packagings now but I think the formula stays the same.

I have combination skin which most of the time is more towards oily, but nowadays it sometimes feel very dry especially in some parts of my face such as cheeks and chin. So I have three of them right now : The Avocado & Oatmeal Clay Mask, Charcoal & Black Sugar Mud Mask, and Anti-Stress Dead Sea Minerals Mask.

So I have a clay mask, a mud mask, and a regular mask that contains dead sea minerals. They come in big tubes of mask and they contain a lot of products. I've been using this as frequently as I could but I still haven't finished the tube yet. Anyway, after using these for quite a while I will try to give my opinions on each of the mask featured here:

Avocado & Oatmeal Clay Mask
Deep cleans and purifies pores..
This one is a clay mask and it has pale green color. It is meant for normal/combo skin and I have gained benefits from this mask because of the nutrient-rich Vitamin E infused in it. The avocado and oatmeal extracts also help with softness and moisturizing skin. I usually pick this one when my skin is more dry than usual especially when I got back from travel or during seasons changing. That's when my skin is usually dry. Putting on this mask will help soothes and balance back my skin condition. It also helps clean pores, making my whole appearance brighter and healthier. The rich clay texture will purge dirt and oils from pores. When you use this the clay texture will harden on your skin and you can almost feel it sucked away all the impurities on your skin. Revealing a brighter, fresher, and healthier looking skin afterwards.

Charcoal & Black Sugar Mud Mask
Smooths, purifies, and moisturizes..
This one is also for normal/combo skin. But I especially use this for when my skin feels a bit oilier than usual. The mud mask formula will help suck out the dirt and oil residue from my pores. It has a black color so don't be alarmed when you see the color for the first time. It will also harden on your skin when you leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. That's how long I usually leave it on my face (or until most of them harden by itself). Then I would wash it all away with a warm water and damp face cloth. The result is a brighter, cleaner, and softer skin! This one also has dead sea minerals which has nourishing effect that boosts smoothness and lifts away oil and toxins without over drying skin. And the black sugar helps skin with rehydration and smooth away roughness.

Anti-Stress Dead Sea Minerals Mask
Clear pores and smooths skin..
This one is for all skin types. This is the one that I probably used the most, because it is more like an all-around mask that I can use whenever I want despite my skin condition. This one has a unique blue color, it always make me feel like "Smurfette" from the Smurfs with all the blue in my face, LOL. But I really enjoyed this one, with dead sea minerals and sea salts that helps replenish and balance moisture while purging clogged pores. It also has lavender and bergamot extracts for an added aromatherapeutic moment to help you relieve some stress. The scent is really really subtle though, you can't almost smell it but it's there.. Overall, this mask will help smooths skin, purging clogged pores, and making the skin looks radiant.

If you ask me which one is my favorite, I cannot answer it because I enjoy using all of them. All of the Freeman masks I've tried are comfortable on the skin. And they resulted in a more refreshed, brighter, and healthier looking skin afterwards. They all have instant glowy effect on my face after I clean them off, and they also makes my skin felt so clean and smooth.

They all are washed-off style, so they do harden on your skin after a few minutes and then you can wash them off at once. They are easy to clean and wash, but I prefer using damp cloth and warm water.
One more thing, they are also quite affordable although they are not easily available here in Indonesia. You can get them at specialty supermarket or from online beauty shops. I got mine at Mustafa Centre in Singapore. They are a little bit cheaper there and they have quite a selection of Freeman's masks at Mustafa.

"Smurfette" :)

So, how about you? Have you tried any of Freeman Masks?
Which ones is your favourite?
