Oh my gosh, my last Fragrance Diary post was on March 2018 (!!) hahaha... It's been a looong time of absence here on this blog. But anyway, the Fragrance Diary is back now! I hope you still like this series like I do ;)

Monday, Jan 6
SOTD: Original Source Vanilla & Raspberry Body Mist
I’m staying at my mom’s house today and wasnt feeling very well since yesterday, so no heavy perfume for me today. I just spritzed on this Vanilla & Raspberry Body Mist from Original Source right after shower and got some needed rest in bed while smelling like a cake ;)

SOTD : Dyptique Vetiverio & Aquolina Pink Sugar Sensual
I’m still down with the flu today. What do you guys wear when you’re feeling under the weather? I originally didn't want to wear anything as my nose is 40% stuffy, but I thought it might be the perfect time to try the fragrances I dislike because my nose is half stuffy so maybe I could tolerate it. So I put on Dyptique Vetiverio again because I so much want this one to work because it's rather an expensive decant, so I thought maybe if I tried it again with my stuffy nose I could give it another chance. But nope, I still couldn't like this one, sorry vetiverio... (I end up giving this to my mom because she likes it and it smells better on her!).
So anyway I washed it up and layered a good spritz of Aquolina Pink Sugar Sensual to replace the Vetiverio, because I’d like the smell of sweet cake when I’m sick to bring up my appetite (because when we’re sick we’ve lost appetite, am I right?).

SOTD : (trial) Abercrombie n Fitch First Instinct for women
Still in recuperation from my flu today and spent my noon watching itunes movie : The Greatest Show on Earth (love the music!) & Confessions of A Shopaholic. I have all of the shopaholic series books and have watched the movie when it first came out. Now that I watched the movie again (which I don't really like because its stray away from the original book) makes me want to read all the books all over again.
Anyway my still-stuffy nose didn't allow me to put on something strong today so I picked up the scent that I thought would be easy enough for my stuffy nose to smell. The Abercrombie First Instinct is the perfect choice. It's my first time trying it out and I think it is so soft and lovely. A clean soft petal scent with warm amber-y dry downs. Soft enough for my sick nose and makes me feel beautiful even though I’m in my pyjama all day.
Thursday, Jan 9
SOTN : Thierry Mugler Angel
I’m feeling better today (thanks to many cups of honeyed tea) so I can wear stronger perfume again such as Thierry Mugler Angel which has monstrous sillage during the first 20 mins. Anyway, we went to the shoe cobbler this afternoon to fix H’s work shoes, only to found out that we have to bring both shoes in so they can fix it based on an example ( H only bring one pair of the shoe - the one which was broken ), so we have to come back again some other time *sigh*. After the failed cobbler attempt we decided to get dinner nearby so we dont feel like we went out of the house for nothing. We ate at the Classified Cafe and the food were good! I ordered french onion soup with garlic bread, and H ordered gnocchi and a plate of chicken salad. I also ordered a cocoa / coffee milkshake which was so yumm but it made me hard to fall asleep later that night 😛
Friday, Jan 10
SOTD : Abercrombie & Fitch 1st Instinct
Spent the day looking for nearby yoga classes that I plan to take together with my bestie G. Her office building is not too far from my apartment so we’re looking for yoga classes near the area. I promised her I’d search and browse for the place, but after a few hours looking around I still haven't decided on one yet. I’m gonna look for more later.
Anyway, in the evening me and H got ready for our short trip out of town tomorrow. We plan to have a family trip to bandung, a nearby city. So we packed our things and went to stay at our parents in law this evening so that we can go together at dawn. I’m wearing Abercrombie 1st instinct again because I just simply love it and want to smell it again on my skin. I’m thinking about buying a decant after finishing this vial before deciding to buy the full size.
Saturday, Jan 11
SOTD : D&G Light Blue
Went for a short family trip to bandung today. It took about 2 hrs drive out of town to Bandung and another 40 mins to Lembang, a mountainous hill area of Bandung. We stopped by at the local market for breakfast because my father in law craved some traditional food. From there we continued our trip to a ranch which was only about 7 mins from the market. After playing around at De Ranch we finally checked in to our hotel later in the afternoon. I wore D&G Light Blue today because I thought it’ll be nice and light enough for a half day on the road.

SOTE : (trial) Commodity Gold
Later in the evening me and H went for a walk around our hotel. We walked up to the crowd central just to look around and take some pictures.
I’m wearing (and trying out) a new niche perfume for the evening walk - “Gold” by Community. I’ve read some good things about Commodity fragrances and luckily I found this little vial online (its actually not easy to find niche vials here in Jakarta because not every online store stocks them). I pre-sprayed this to my sweater before I wore it (because I just couldn’t wait any longer to satisfy my curiosity) and it actually smells like a gourmand fragrance (review soon on my perfume blog!).

SOTD : D&G Light Blue
We had a nice breakfast spread at Savoy Homann’s hotel. They serve one of the best hotel breakfast.
We went back to Jakarta later in the evening. My sotd is D&G Light Blue again. I picked up two perfumes as my traveling perfume this time, which are : D&G Light Blue and Commodity Gold. I originally planned to use Chloe edp as one of my travel perfume because I have it in mini bottle, but I forgot to bring it. But luckily I bought my D&G Light Blue so I can alternate my travel fragrance between the Light Blue and the Commodity Gold.
