New-In [Skincare] : Korean Beauty Products
11:13:00 PM
Some new products I am currently adding to my skincare and bodycare routine are these three things from various Korean brand. I would do a short review of each product here because I haven't been using them that long, so consider this as a first impression review.
Currently you can get these products from Charis, a Korean beauty e-commerce that caters to International market. These three products didn't come in one package though. Each of them actually are from different shipment so they arrived in different weeks. But what I didn’t realize was that all the three products apparently have the same color which is a mint blue color! So maybe I should title this blog post with "mint-coloured Korean beauty products" instead - LOL 😛
Anyway, let's just get into the mini reviews of each product :
Born Tree Gold Milk Steam Cream
Steam Cream is not a new type of product in skincare. I think it started a hype a few years ago. But back then I never tried it, because I thought it's gonna be oily or too heavy for my oily-combi skin. But you know what? I'm wrong. This one doesn't feel sticky at all. This is my first time trying steam cream and when I finally tried it I felt like it is very wearable for even oily skin. I don't know about steam cream from other brands but this one from Born Tree is not sticky at all. The formula is so light, the texture is smooth and milky, and it absorbs really fast, with no oily residue.
They claim it can be used for all family members including babies because it contains no harmful ingredients. In fact it contains mineral water, goats milk, shea butter, and flower extracts. It helps strengthens skin barrier, soothes skin, and gives softness & wrinkle improvement. I used this both day or night (whenever I need it) and I only used a small amount for a layer of moisture on top of my skin. The result is a moist supple skin that lasts for hours.
Keep Cool Soothe Cooling Foot Spray
I always like the idea of having a foot spray because it's nice to cool down your feet right before bed or when you just came home from walking around outside. Especially when it's hot outside and you've been walking around with your sandals on, then you came home with tired feet, this would spruce those feet up immediately.
Just a couple of spritzes and your feet would be enveloped with coolness that gets rid of the hot asphalt feeling you get from walking on the street. The minty feel of this foot spray would definitely rejuvenates those tired feet. I love to keep this handy, and I would bring this when I'm traveling (because my travels usually consists of a lot of walking around hehe).
Charis M+ Madecassoside Cica Cream
The name is hard to pronounce, LOL. So last week I just finished up my travel evening cream, so I need to start a new one. My new pick is the M+ Madecassoside Cica Cream from the new skincare line of Charis.
This is my first time trying products from Charis brand. It is an all-in-one cream for moisturizing, lifting, and clarifying skin. It contains centella asiatica leaf extracts, a popular ingredient in modern skincare. I love how the texture is light and absorbed quickly by the skin, leaving no sticky residue. I also love the simple tube packaging, making it perfect to carry around in my travel toiletries bag as my travel cream.
If you're interested in any of the products you can get all these three products from Charis. Clicking the link below will get you to my personal shop there, and most of these products are on sale now !
Happy Shopping !
