The other new additions to my skincare wardrobe came from the Socobox from Sociolla. I was lucky enough to be sent this Socobox from Sociolla with skincare and bodycare products inside - which I was really happy to try out. So this was also a nice addition to my skincare routine.

The Ordinary High Adherence Silicone Primer

They actually have two variants of primers in The Ordinary range but I chose this one because : (1) I found silicone is a bit better for my makeup base as I have combi skin, and (2) This one is cheaper than the other one hehe..

But nonetheless, this is a very light primer that doesn't feel sticky or clogging, and it works well with my makeup too. They claim that this formula uses advanced adaptive silicones to act as a matte, hydrating, blurring primer for makeup that looks higher in definition and adheres for longer. Well I mostly wear light makeup and this works really fine with my foundation and cake powder, maybe even gives it a high definition look. It fills in pores very nicely so I have a smoother surface to put on my makeup easily. The light formula also doesn't feel cakey or thick, so I really like this one as a neutral primer.

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + HA 2%

This one is my current AHA treatment. I have combination skin and I found out (through trial & error) that my skin looks better with a combination use of both AHA & BHA. I can't use both of them at the same time because my skin would then got irritated. So I use BHA and AHA alternatively every other night, or I use BHA at night and then AHA in the morning if I'm not going outside the house (because AHA is sensitive to sun light). So anyway this is my current AHA, and although I like this one but I might still prefer Glycolic Acid than Lactic Acid as I find this one is a bit lighter than my usual Glycolic Acid. But if you're new to AHA then you might try this Lactic Acid one as I think it's quite a gentle acid to start with :)

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution + EGCG

This is my current undereye treatment and I have been liking it so far because : (a) it doesn't cause milia. And (b) it's so light and absorbs rather quickly into my skin. I always love light skincare formula because I have combination skin that goes towards oily. So anything with a heavy and thick formula doesn't feel comfortable on my skin, it would just clog my pores. I also would usually get milia under my eyes if I use a thick formula or heavy eyecream/treatment, and this one has a light texture and formula, and it doesn't give me milia so I praised it for that :) 

The EGCG in this formula means "highly-purified Epigallocatechin Gallatyl Glucoside (EGCG)" from green tea leaves, which can help with puffiness and dark circles. I find it helps a little bit with my puffiness but for dark circles it might take a longer time (and a routine use) to notice the difference. But so far I am liking it :)

I'm very sorry for the lack of posts here.. The corona pandemic is ruining our usual activities nowadays, hopefully we are all safe until this pandemic ends (and hopefully it will end soon! Just please stay at home whenever you can and routinely wash your hands and take your vitamins).

So anyway, here is a quick post of my current empties..

These empty products are probably from a few months ago that I managed to compiled and still keep them in my empties box in the corner of my bedroom. So you might see some old products / old labels here. And one thing to note, I will only include short review on each of them because I just want to put this post up and be done with it so I can do other tasks (I'm just not really in the mood today, huhuu..). So I'm sorry that this time I'm not in the mood for a long post, because my mind is somewhere else but I still want to get this done. So here it goes ..

Petal Fresh Volumizing Shampoo with Rosemary & Mint

This is a natural-sourced shampoo and I wanted to try this out because of the "rosemary & mint" at the label. Also because I haven't found a natural shampoo that can work with my hair. Natural shampoos tend to make my hair limp and greasy more easily, and unfortunately this one does too. I end up giving this to my husband after using a half bottle of it (and on hubby's dry hair this actually works well!).

Lucido-L Triple Beauty Vitamin Spray

This is a Japanese-brand hair vitamin spray, and it is a leave-in vitamin that I used after every time I wash my hair. So I towelled dry my hair and then I sprayed a few spritzes of this on the hair shaft and skipping the roots. This would make my hair feels light and bouncy all day, and would prolong the time until the next cycle wash.

Dior Snow White-Reveal UV Shield Makeup

I love Dior makeup (although I haven't tried that much of Dior makeup) but this compact powder/foundie is so nice to use. The formula is so good it clings to my skin and the coverage is flawless. The longevity is also very good and it already has a built in UV too.

> Replacement : Nothing. Still trying to used up my Mac Studio Fix.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

A useful product to have is an aloe vera gel. I always have this in stock because I find it useful for a lot of purposes, such as : for after-sun lotion, for cooling facial mask, for hair mask, for bug bites that cause red hot itchy bumps on the skin, and for burn treatment (example: when my finger accidentally got hit with a boiling pan, or even when I have my carpal tunnel syndrome in which my fingers feel like its burning inside).

> Recommended ? Yes I think every girl should have aloe vera gel in their drawer ;)

Natural Honey Moisture Rich Lotion

It has 24 hour formula of olive oil and Vitamin E, this is a light body lotion which I think is more suitable for hot sunny weather in Indonesia. It absorbs really fast and smells subtle but nice. Love the honey formula too :)

> Replacement : Nothing. Still using up my small bottle of The Body Shop White Musk Satin Body Lotion.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

This was my travel body lotion because I have it in small tub size so it's easier to bring around. I love the scent and formula of this one. Although the scent is quite strong but that means you won't have to add perfume to finish your look. And the formula is rich but absorbs quite nicely without leaving any residue.

Simple Soothing Anti Perspirant

I love this! It's natural so it's safer for your skin and for the environment. And it also feels dry (because I hate wet roll ons hehe).

So in total it includes 13 full size products and 3 sample products. I think I'm satisfied with it because most of them were full size products which usually took a long time for me to finish. I always love finishing up a full size product because it gives me satisfaction and the feeling of relieve hehe..
